Here is My Movie Review of 12 Angry Men

Here is my Movie Review of 12 Angry Men

Now when it comes to this movie I always really enjoyed it in fact it really reminds me of the film Juror #2 from 2024 because both movies take place in Courthouse and both of them have the characters determine if someone is innocent or guilty of the crime that they have committed.

Now the storyline is really incredible and very simple basically you have these 12 jury members and they have to determine if this one guy who killed someone is guilty or innocent and some of the jury believes that he is innocent well some others believe that he should be sentenced to death and should be guilty for the bad thing he has committed that being murder and they have to vote on whether  the boy is innocent or guilty of killing his father and that's basically what happens it's very simple and very easy to follow.

Now the acting in this movie is incredible because even though this came out in 1957 the acting still holds up today and you can tell all these actors had a lot of fun playing these characters In fact a lot of people say this is one of the best acted films of all time and I agree with them this film is up there with the acting in Appaloosa as one of the best acted films of all time.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Martin Balsam as Juror #1 Because you give such an emotional and really powerful and captivating performance as this character. Now the character of Juror #1 Is shown to be really calm and he wants to prove to the rest of the jury that the guy might be innocent even when he has argued with the other members of the Jury. He is still able to keep his composure and temper down even when things get really intense. The scenes with Juror #1 is incredible whether  he is meeting the rest of the jury and discussing if the guy is guilty or innocent of the murder for him trying to get the rest of the jury to calm down and it does lead to some really heart pounding and some really iconic moments in the film. The chemistry between him and John Fiedler, Lee J. Cobb, E.G. Marshall, Jack Klugman, Edward Binns, Jack Warden, Henry Fonda, Joseph Sweeney, Ed Begley, George Voskivec and Robert Webber are magnificent.

John Fiedler Either way gives one of the most somber and one more mellow performances in the film as Juror #2 because he does such a glorious job of playing this character who doesn't talk all that much because he gets really nervous but he also wants to try to figure out if the boy who killed his own father is guilty or innocent. The character of Juror #2 is shown to be very closed off and really shy but he also, much like the rest of the jury, wants to figure out if this guy is innocent or guilty of killing his own father. The scenes with Juror #2 are Probably the most nerve-wracking moments in the film. Either it is him not wanting to talk at first or him trying to say that the boy who killed his own father is possibly guilty. It does lead to some really somber and some really dramatic moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is exhilarating.

Lee J. Cobb  gives the most intense and suspenseful performances in the film because you can tell that he really dived into this character who has a live anger. He just wants to figure out if the guy is guilty of killing his father so the jury can be over. Now the character Juror #3 is shown to be very hot tempered and gets mad really easily and he believes that the boy is guilty for killing his father and he just wants to get the jury over so he can leave. The Scenes with Juror #3 Are probably some of the most violent and some of the most hard pounding moments in the film especially when he questions the other jury members of why they believe that the boy might be innocent or him causing a riot in the office of all the juries attacking each other and jury number one that has to try to break it up it does lead to some really intense and some really heavy moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is perfect.

E.G. Marshall Plays Juror #4 In the film and out of all the performances in the film he is probably my favorite because he plays the intelligent one of the jury really well and I can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Juror #4 Is probably my favorite character because this is a character that focuses on the facts of what possibly could have happened during the murder and tries to figure out much like the rest of the jury if the guy is guilty or innocent.  The scenes with juror #4 Are probably some of my favorite moments in the film whether it is him doubting Juror #8 ideologies of what could have happened during the murder. Or him voting not guilty against the other 11 Jurors. It does lead to some really iconic and really suspenseful moments between the characters Throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is magnificent.

Jack Klugman Plays Juror #5 In the film, his performance is brilliant because you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. He gives such a riveting and terrific performance in this film. Now the character of Juror #5 Is really interesting because he is someone who grew up in the violent slums of town where all the violence in Mayhem happened and he wants much like the rest of the jury to figure out if this guy is innocent or guilty of committing murder. The scenes with Juror #5 are terrific Especially the scene of him talking about what it's like to grow up in the slums of the town witnessing all the violence or him trying to tell the other jury members that the guy might be innocent. It does lead to some of the most brilliant and some of the most entertaining moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is spectacular.

Edward Binns Plays Juror #6 In the film and his performance is really exhilarating because he does such a glorious job with his performance because he plays the voice of reason for the Jury. You can tell that he was having so much heart and emotion to this character and you can tell that he is having a lot of fun in this film. Now the character of Juror #6 Is really incredible because he is kind of like the voice of reason in the film, how he wants to prove that the guy might be innocent or guilty but he also wants to try to keep the other jurors from getting into a massive argument and start turning against each other. The scenes with Juror #6 are probably some of the most  Captivating moments in the film especially the scene where Juror #6 Tells Juror #3 To respect # 9 Because he is elderly and it is one of the most powerful moments of the entire film and Or him in the rest of the Jerry retrain the walk to figure out what was the person's motive who lived across in the apartment it does lead to some really incredible and probably some of the best moments in the film. The  chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is marvelous because you can tell both of these actors are having a lot of fun.

Jack Warden plays Juror #7 In the film he also gives the second most intense performance of the entire film because he does such a tremendous job of playing this narcissistic selfish member of the jury. Now the character of #7 As shown to be really selfish even though he wants to determine if the guy who killed his father is guilty or innocent but he's more concerned with a baseball game rather than getting the jury done. Now the scenes with Juror #7 Are tremendous whether it is him arguing with the jury about wanting to get this trial over with or him talking about the baseball game; it does lead to some really heart pounding and some really brutal moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is brilliant.

Henry Fonda plays Juror #8 In the film and he probably gives one the most exhilarating and perfect performances in the film because you could tell he's having a lot of fun playing this very smart and very determine character who wants to prove to the other jury that the guy really did kill his father by stabbing him with the knife and trying to figure out if he is guilty or innocent of what he did. The scenes with Juror #8 Are probably some of my favorite moments in the film especially the scene where he's showing the other juries the knife and drawing out a picture of how could the murder could have went down with the guy and his father and that whole scene of him and the rest of the jury's fighting each other If the guy should be Send it to death or be innocent it does lead to a lot of memorable and terrific and Intelligent moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is spectacular.

Joseph Sweeney plays Juror #9 In the film And his performance is probably one of the most heartwarming and probably one of the most beautiful performances of the entire film because he does such an outstanding job of playing this character who is very thoughtful and really down to earth. Now Juror #9 as a character is shown to be very thoughtful and really nice and he believes that the guy who committed the murderer could be possibly innocent rather than guilty and he wants the rest of the journey to come forward with their answers of what they think. The scene where Ledgery number 9 inmates that he changed his vote because he believed that the guy is innocent is probably one of the most powerful and one of the most captivating moments in the film. Or him arguing with the rest of the jury to figure out who is right And it does lead to some really powerful and some really remarkable moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam  is incredible.

Ed Begley plays Juror #10 In the film and his performance is really tremendous In this film and you could tell that he was having a lot of fun playing this xenophobic wow mouth who essentially believes that the guy is not innocent he clearly committed the murder of his dad. Now the character of Juror #10 Is shown to be very xenophobic is quick to anger he wants to get this jury over with because he just believes that the guy who killed his father is automatically guilty and should be sentenced to death. The scenes with Juror #10 Are probably some of the hardest moments to watch. Either it is him delivering that Prejudice speech or him trying to cause the other juries to attack each other and try to prove that the guy is guilty. It does lead to some really heart pounding and brutal moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is perfect.

George Voskivec plays Juror #11 In the film, he gives a really fun and fantastic performance as this character because you could tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Juror #11 Is really interesting because he believes that everyone should count and he wants everyone to have a say and what they think might have happened during the murder to determine if the guy is guilty or innocent. The scenes with Juror #11 Are incredible Especially when he tries to testify against the old man to determine if he was really during the murder. Or during the final debate when he still votes not guilty it still leads to some really incredible and iconic moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is extraordinary.

Now the very last performance is of course Robert Webber Who plays the 12th and final jury member which is Juror #12 and he does a stellar job with his performance and you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Juror #12 Is shown to be either way distracted but he, much like the rest of the jury, wants to figure out if the guy is innocent or guilty of killing his father and wants to have a final conclusion to determine what the outcome will be. The scenes with Juror #12 Are really interesting because there are so many incredible moments with this character whether it is him watching Juror #3 finally says  guilty in him and the rest of the juries leaving the room or him arguing with the wetness and questioning him if he really saw everything play out with the murder it does lead to some really iconic and perfect moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Martin Balsam is perfect.

However the best thing about this movie is the directing by Sidney Lumet  because what I love about his directing is that he does a Stellar job of disgusting the subject of what a jury does how how they determine if a person is innocent or guilty of the crime they have committed and they're literally a lot of arguments because some people will believe that the guy is guilty while others believe that the person might be innocent. I also like how he develop all these characters and give them different personalities for example Juror #3 is known to be really angry and believe that the person is guilty Juror # 9 It's shown to be very humble and soft-spoken and believed that the person is innocent. Or someone like Juror #10 is shown to be very xenophobic and doesn't believe that the person is innocent and constantly argues with the other members of the jury. So I think he did a stellar job of developing these characters. I also like how he shows how dark a jury can get in terms of people getting riled up and they might call they fight to break out.  So now the interesting thing is how he discussed it. So overall I think he did a stellar job directing this film.

So in conclusion I still really love this film simply because of the simple storyline which is of course people trying to figure out if a guy who committed murder is either guilty or innocent and while the concept is pretty simple the film executes it perfectly. But the thing I really like is all the performances the standout performances for me are from Martin Balsam as Juror #1 because he gives one of the most captivating and one of the best performances in the film. Also E.G. Marshall as Juror #4 Is probably my favorite performance of the film. It does a glorious job of giving this character so much heart but also a lot of brilliant moments throughout the film. Also John Fiedler the film as Juror #2 give a really terrific and really beautiful performance because he did such a great job of playing this quiet and timid jury who doesn't like talking that much and likes to keep it to himself. At all you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Also the rest of the actors are incredible. Also every single moment is incredible whether you're talking about Jury #8 talking about the knife and comparing it or Juror #3 starting arguments with the other members of the jury it does lead to some really iconic and some really amazing moments in the film. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like courtroom drama films like Juror #2 with Nicholas Hoult from 2024. I'm  sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this film a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Juror #2

Here is My Movie Review of Juror #2

Now this is a movie I knew about but I never saw a single trailer. Now the budget for this movie was around 37 million But it only made back 27 million so it did under perform at the box office. But still a lot of people really liked the film. So I watched the film. I have to say this is one of the best movies of 2024. In fact, this is one of my favorite movies of that year because of the performances which I'll get to because I have a lot to say about the acting and the directing.

Now the storyline in this movie is tremendous because it focuses on this guy named Justin Kemp Who is this journalist and he has called in for jury duty because he has to testify against this guy named James Michael who possibly killed this woman outside of a bar and he has to join in a jury to determine the fate of this guy to see if he's guilty or not guilty and also He has with his wife Allison Crewson who is pregnant with their baby and she is worried that justin won't figure out if james michael is guilty or innocent adds up to Justin Kemp To determine if James Michael is guilty of murdering the woman but also trying to figure out if he accidentally ran over someone when he was driving home and that's basically The storyline to the film. I have to say this is probably the best storyline of 2024. I think it's up there with the storyline in The bike riders at one of the best story lines of 2024.

Now as much as I enjoy the storyline the acting is the thing that makes the movie perfect because this is probably up Heretic with Hugh Grant as one of the best acted films of 2024 because of all the performances on Incredibles especially the main lead in this film Nicholas Halt. Which I will talk about.

Easily the actor that still the entire movie is Nicholas Hoult who plays our main character Justin Kemp and his performance is incredible because you give such a raw and such an emotionally perfect performance and keep in mind Nicholas Hoult Is a tremendous actor you know if you seen him in stuff like The Menu, Renfield Jack the Giant Slayer. But I will say though I think he wasn't that great in Superman I thought his Lex Luther was really stupid especially by the third act where he just goes full Cartman with him screaming and crying I thought he went way too over the top. But I thought he was okay in the first two acts. Also you can tell that he is having a ton of fun in this movie again Nicholas Hoult he owns the role of Justin Kemp and you can tell that a lot of people have praised his performance. That's how great of an actor he is. But the character of Justin Kemp is a character that the film does a glorious job of developing because this is a guy that you really feel bad for man we because he's going through a lot of stress he had to attend jury duty to prove that James Michael is probably innocent or guilty not to mention his wife Allison Crewson   is having a baby and he questions if he accidentally ran over that woman and you can tell That he really wants to prove that James Michael might be innocent or guilty. So you can tell that this guy is going through a lot of stress and the film does a glorious job of making you feel bad for him. The scenes with Justin Kemp are incredible in fact all of it scenes are probably my favorite moments throughout the film especially when he is questioning the jury if Jason Michael should be guilty or be innocent and that scene of him talking to his wife about if the accident we ran over That woman who was in the middle of the road it does lead to some really heart pounding and some really brutal and tragic moments in the film and  Nicholas Hoult just pulled off doing all of these tragic moments perfectly. The chemistry between him and Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Zooey Deutch, and Gabriel Basso are terrific.

Someone else I really want to talk about who gave a really magnificent performance is Toni Collette  who plays Faith Killebrew In the film and she does a stellar job as the character because you can tell that she is giving a really captivating and a really exhausting performance. Now the character of Faith Killebrew It's really interesting because this is a character who is a district attorney who wants to help Justin Kemp trying to figure out if Jason Michael is innocent or guilty and she orders him to partake in a jury and along with the other members of the jury to determine If Jason Michael is guilty or not. The scenes with Faith Killebrew are probably some of the best moments in this film. like her introduction scene where she introduces Justin Kamp to the courtroom and tells them that he has to figure out if Jason Michael is innocent or not. But my favorite moment in the film is in the third act where Justin Kamp is sitting near the courthouse and Faith Killebrew Sits with him and She tell them that when people try to do the right thing they sometimes end up doing the wrong thing and  even though they have good intentions to try to solve the problem and she even tell them that Jason michael is not a psychopath he's just a regular guy that needs help. It is my favorite moment in the entire film. It does lead to some really powerful and some really mesmerizing themes in the film. The chemistry between her and Nicholas Hoult is remarkable.

Now let's talk about J.K. Simmons because look, this guy has given some really tremendous performances like in the Spider-Man movies. Palm Springs, Whiplash, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Cider House Rules. Now as for this film that is no different because he does a Splendid job as the character of Harold because he gives such a really mellow and really Stern performance and I think it's one of my second  favorite performances that he's given outside of the MCU because my favorite performance that J.K. Simmons has given outside of the MCU. Which is of course his performance in  Whiplash as Terrence Fletcher. But this performance is still magnificent. Also you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Harold is really remarkable because this is a guy who wants to help Justin Kemp try to figure out if Jason Michael is guilty or innocent of what he did to the woman when he assaulted her. The scenes with Harold are really incredible like when he's talking to the jury trying to get them to decide if Jason Michael is guilty or innocent or the scene where he meets Justin Kemp for the first time does lead to some really intense and some really Fantastic moments in the film. Also both him and Nicholas Hoult play off each other perfectly.

Zooey Deutch Gives probably the most emotional performance as the character of Allison Crewson  Because she gets one of the most beautiful and one of the most captivating performances as this character and you can tell that she is having a lot of fun in this movie also when The character of Allison Crewson  has to be nervous or scared or happy she  does a terrific job of balancing of the emotional sides of the character. Now the character of Allison Crewson Is probably the most emotional character in the film because this is a character who is dealing with a lot she is about to have a baby with her husband Justin Kamp and she wants to know if he was drinking at the time he ran over the girl but she also wants him to complete the jury to try to figure out if James Michael is innocent or guilty of hurting the woman. The scenes with Allison Crewson Are probably Are probably some of the most captivating and some of the most beautiful moments in the film especially when she is having her baby in the two bond with it or her asking Justin if he was drunk when he accidentally ran over the woman and she's waiting for him to answer and it's one of the most heart pounding moments in the film it does lead to some really powerful and some really heavy moments in the film. Also she and Nicholas Hoult play off each other perfectly. That's how magnificent their chemistry is.

Gabriel Basso Probably give one the most intense performances as the character Of Jason Michael and you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character and he does  such a glorious  job of playing this character who is going through a lot of pain because he doesn't want to be sentenced to death he want to be proven innocent by the jury. Now the character of Jason Michael is really interesting because this is a guy who has mistreated this girl and he feels really guilty of what he do and he wants to be proven innocent and he doesn't want to go to jail. The scenes with Jason Michael are really interesting because his introduction scene is really amazing with him begging the jury not to send him to jail wacky bags Faith Killebrew not to send them to death when he is in the interrogation room it does lead to some really powerful and some really nail biting moments in the film. Also both him and Nicholas Hoult play off each other perfectly. They have such brilliant chemistry and you can tell that both of them were having a lot of fun making this film.

However, as great as the acting is, the best thing about this movie is the directing by Clint Eastwood. Now this guy has directed some really amazing films like Unforgivable, Sully, Mystic River. Among other films. If I have to say this is probably Clint Eastwood's best directed film He's ever done because what I love about his directing is that he know they still a job of taking this concept of a guy being called to Jury Dewey And trying to prove that this other guy that being Jason Michael is possibly innocent or guilty so he is forced to Decide with the jury what is the fate of this guy on top of that he is about to have a baby with his wife and with a concept like that you may think it is really boring but somehow Clint Eastwood takes this concept and makes it really tragic and really emotional at the same time and the way he does that is developing all the characters. Especially with The character of Justin Kemp Who is going through a lot you know what he is about to have a baby with his wife he doesn't know if this guy should be guilty and sent to jail for attacking a woman or should be let go and resume not guilty and you can tell that it's driving Justin a little crazy and he doesn't want to admit they accidentally ran over the woman with his car so there's complications with that and his wife and I think it did really brilliant of of how Clint Eastwood developed in this character. I also like how he develops the other characters like Justin's wife Allison Crewson  Who is also going through a lot of stuff because she's about to have a baby and she wants her husband Justin to finish this trial and prove that the guy is either guilty or innocent by partaking  In this jury by questioning to all the jury If they vote guilty or not guilty. So they can finish this trial. I also like how he Discusses the subject of jury Dean because they really serious thing because it's all about questioning if someone's innocent or guilty there's a lot of arguments that can be made And they have to vote on oh what's your Motivation for killing this person Or where were you the night someone died And this film takes it really seriously and I think Clint Eastwood did an excellent job of Taking the subject seriously. So I think overall he did a magnificent job directing this film.

So in conclusion I still really love this film mainly because of the storyline because it was a really interesting concept which was of course about this guy named Justin Kemp who is tasked to go to jury duty Do you try to figure out if this guy named Jason Michael who brutally attacked a girl Outside of a bar should be presumed guilty or innocent and he has to decide what the rest of the jury And then he has his wifeAllison Crewson I was about to have a baby with him if she questions if she was drunk and he accidentally ran over the girl. Now that is a brilliant concept and you think with the concept like that the movie will make it really boring but no it actually makes it really engaging and really emotional at the same time. But the thing I liked the most in this movie is the acting, in particular Nicholas Hoult who probably gives one of his best performances of all time as Justin Kemp because he gives so much heart and emotion to this one character and you can tell he is having fun as this character.  To be honest his performance is so incredible and emotional that I am surprised that the Oscars did nominate him for best leading actor. That's how tremendous his performance was in the film. Also the character of Justin Kemp is so brilliant because the phone does the Florence job and make you feel bad for him because he is going through a lot of stuff he has to partake and jury duty while taking care of his pregnant wife and taking care of his newborn baby as well as trying to figure out if this guy Jason Michael is guilty or innocent. Also the moments with Justin Kemp are so emotional and incredible whether it is him talking to his wife about  what happened the night when he accidentally ran over that woman and she has questioned if he was drunk at the time. Meeting the jury for the first time we entered the courtroom for jury duty Those two scenes are probably some of the best moments in the film. J.K. Simmons gives another tremendous performance and the character of Harold and you get to tell that he is having a lot of fun. Interactions between him and Justin Kamp are brilliant and you could make the joke that J. Joma Jameson and Lex Luthor have met each other because they are in the same movie. The sins of him and Justin talking to the other members of the jury in the courthouse was really fun to see them try to figure out if they agree if Jason Michael is guilty or if he is innocent. I still think those moments are the best parts of the movie. Also Toni Collette  who plays Faith Killebrew gave a really fun and really captivating performance in the film. Also the character of  Faith Killebrew is really incredible because she is essentially like the one that is in charge of the jury. She wants the trial to go well and for Justin Kemp to determine if the guy who committed the crime is guilty or innocent. Now her interactions with Justin Kemp are incredible whether it's her medium for the first time or her telling the jury to get on with the case and try to determine if Jason Michael is innocent or guilty. It did lead to some really intense and some really amazing moments in the film. Also despite The budget being only 37 million The film still looks tremendous because it really feels like you were with the characters during this whole jury trial thing that is going on in the film. That's how brilliant the cinematography is in this film. Also this film is in my top five favorite films of 2024. Also this is my second favorite film of 2024. My favorite film of that year is Dune Part II. I still think this film is up there with Caddo Lake with Dylan O'Brien as one of the most underrated films of 2024. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like really powerful drama films like the Bikeriders with Tom Hardy. Or if you like really awesome Court dramas like 12 Angry Men 1957 with Marthin Balsam. Then I'm sure you are going to like this film as well. I give this film a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Send Help

Here is My Movie Review of Send Help

Now when I saw the trailer to this movie I was really interested because one it was directed by a Sam Raimi who is a very talented director who directed the Spider-Man movies and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as well as other films and two The concept really intrigued me how it focuses on these two people on an island trying to survive it really reminded me of The Lighthouse with Willem Dafoe. So I watched this film and I have to say this is probably in my top three favorite films of the entire year because I saw the film two times and each time I watched it I started to like it even more and more. That is how amazing and exhilarating this film is. I also want to talk about the twist that happens later on in the film.

Now let's talk about the storyline and it's actually a really interesting storyline because we focus on these two people named Bradley Preston and Linda Liddle. They work at this company and Bradley decides to take his whole office work clients on a getaway. But unfortunately the plane crashes everyone died except for Bradley and Linda and Linda knows how to survive while Bradley is being a complete idiot he's like oh this is not a big deal and at first everything doesn't seem that bad but at the days go by and they start to go more and more insane and they have to try to survive while not trying to kill the other one. Also  the storyline in this movie it's basically the lighthouse mixed with a bit of Castaway with Tom Hanks that's essentially what you get for this film and it's probably one of the most interesting story lines of the entire year.

Now the performance is in this movie are incredible because you I said we got two tremendous and outstanding actors as your main character that being Dylan O'Brien from the maid Runner movies and Rachel McAdams from the MCU and these two actors really crush it as their characters not only do they give really fun and entertainment performance says but there are moments where the characters have to be really intense and try not to kill each other and again to vicious fights these actors pull it off perfectly.

Now let´s talk about Dylan O'Brien because he is a magnificent actor. He was really tremendous as Thomas in the Maze Runner films and even though I am very neutral on those films I do think he would be the best part of the films. He was really awesome in Love & monsters as Joel Dawson. Caddo Lake as Paris Lang. Now as far For this film that's no different Dylan O'Brien delivers probably one of its funniest performances at the character of Bradley Preston because he does such a job of playing this really narcissistic and really dumb but really likeable asshole because you get to tell he is having a lot of fun as this character. Now the character of Bradley Preston is so funny because he is right from the start a complete jackass he's full of himself he doesn't have the best judgment because he makes such dumb decisions like for example when he hurts his leg when it gets on the island he tries to walk and Linda tell them not to and it's really funny. But at the same time he wants to get off the island. But he does go a little crazy to the point that it is revealed in the third act that he is the main villain in the film because he wants revenge on Linda for killing his fiance Zuri. Now there are so many memorable and really funny scenes with Bradley Preston whether it is him just like relaxing he's laying down In this chair and he like completely oblivious he doesn't even realize that he's been the son for a long time a says ironically Captain America's catchphrase he said the line I can do this all day and that was really funny. Or the scene where he thinks Linda is chopping his dick off They like screaming and there's Bloods flying everywhere but turned out she'd actually cutting open a rat to eat but that scene well is probably one of the most WFT moments in the film is also really funny that's his reaction of him freaking out Because he think that Linda is cutting his dick off but she's not but that's what he thinks Because he's just acting completely stupid and oblivious to what is happening. But there are moments where he goes completely insane especially when it comes to in the third act where he and Linda beat the shit out of each other, and he rubs her face in some dirt and she cuts him with the knife on the waist and they try to kill each other. Even in the scene where they're in this like Condo and they still try to kill each other. It totally did have some really funny and some really shocking moments in the film. Also  he and Rachel McAdams play off each other tremendously they have such brilliant chemistry throughout the film.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Rachel McAdam as Linda Liddie. Now Rachel McAdams is a tremendous actress, she has given some really amazing performances like in Red Eye as Lisa Reisert. She'll also terrific in the MCU as Christina Palmer. She was also terrific in Sherlock Holmes as the character of Irene Adlmer. Now as for this film that is no different because Rachel McAdam's is downright brilliant as the character of  Linda Liddle because she does such a stellar job of playing this really skilled survivor because she knows how to survive in the wild. On top of being really funny as this character is also able to be completely utterly crazy and this character and when the movie wants Linda to go crazy or funny Rachel McAdams does such a glorious job balancing both signs of this character and you can tell that she is having a lot of fun In the film. Now the character of Linda  Liddle is really interesting because unlike Bradley Preston who doesn't really think stray he's a complete idiot and is full of himself. Linda is a lot more intelligent, she knows how to survive in the wild, she is a  skilled Survivor and she wants to get off the island. But then you find out in the third act that she is actually Planned For the two to be on the island so she can get revenge On him for treating her like shit So she would kill him and get off the island And the twist reveal that She while Revenge On Bradley for treating her like garbage Well that we had twist that really surprise me because at first you think Working together to get off the island except they are applying to kill one another That is the big reveal that happened in the film and it's really good. Now the scenes with Linda Lindie are really incredible and really funny whether it is her trying to tell Bradley about how to survive on the island he doesn't really care he's just being a complete knucklehead he's being really oblivious. Or the scene where she sees Bradley attempting to Take his His clothes off because he thinks he is going to have intercourse with Linda and she tell them that was really funny and even when she goes crazy in the third act like that scene where she beats the crap out of Bradley with a golf club it just showed that she had enough of them being a complete asshole to her just being a complete horrible boss to her so when she killed them with the golf club it makes sense because he's just annoyed with him at this point and just wants him to die already and it did a lead to some really funny and some really dark and Sinister moments in the film. The chemistry between her and Dylan O'Brien is brilliant. I think they have amazing and stellar chemistry. You can tell that both of these actors really enjoyed working on this film together.

However the thing I really want to talk about is the directing by Sam Raimi because this guy is a really tremendous director  because he has directed a lot of amazing films like the Spider-Man films, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Drag Me To Hell. The evil dad films. Now as for this film I still think he did a glorious job of directing the film because what I love about his directing is that you can tell that he really wants to show how two people who don't like each other try to get along while they're stuck on a desert island. Which is a really interesting idea that he went with to make this filming. I think he did a stellar job executing that idea of two people who really can't stand each other but they are forced to like to team up to solve the problem which is of course trying to get off the island. But I also like how even though this is a horror movie he is not afraid to make this movie funny because I t already said in this review there are so many funny moments more to the humor comes from Bradley Preston being a complete jackass and a complete asshole that's what makes his character funny. Linda's reactions to him being stupid are really funny. But I also like how Humided to make this really intense because despite this movie being funny it's actually a horror movie Would you if you seen any movie this guy has done is basically Sam Raimi's style like if you see it in Evil Dead Or Drag Me The Hell it's essentially his style of directing Even in the Spider-Man movie there are some really scary moments in those films like the hospital scene in Spider-Man 2 or Norman Osborne talking to the Green Goblin in the mirror. There is also a lot of scary moments that happen in this film like Linda going completely crazy trying to kill Bradley in the condo or them trying to kill each other in the woods it show that these characters are not perfect they will go to some extremely graphic and brutal methods to try to kill each other so I thought that was like really interesting. To be honest I think this is Sam Raimi's best directing film since Spider-Man 2. That's how brilliant his directing was in this film. So overall I think he did a brilliant job directing this film.

So in conclusion I really liked this film and it's probably one of the biggest surprises of the entire year because I knew the film was going to be amazing but I didn't know how much I would like it until I watched it a second time. That's when I really loved the film. In fact this film is one of the best films of the entire year man we because of the directing by Sam Raimi´s Directing because even though this movie is really funny he does a glorious job and make it really suspenseful because again you have two characters essentially trying to survive on this island while trying to kill each other and I think he does a brilliant job of blending the comedy side of the film and the horrify moments of the film as well. Also the storyline itself is incredible because it's really simple you have Bradley Preston and Linda Liddle Who are both stuck on this island and they have to do everything their power to survive well they are secretly trying to kill one another and it's probably one of the best story lines of the entire year in fact is up there with the storyline with obsession as I want the best story lines of this year. The acting in this movie is Incredible Dylan O'Brien does such a glorious job as the character of Bradley Preston you can tell that he is just having a lot of fun playing this really sexist and really narcissistic jackass of a character he's just hamming it up not taking it seriously. But he can also be unstable as you see in the third act of the film. So he does a stellar job of being funny and really creepy as well. But easily the performance that steal the entire movie is Rachel McAdams as Linda Liddie Who are the character that is shown to be really smart and knows how to survive in the wild and not only does Rachel McAdams do a glorious job of being funny but she also does an exhilarating job of being crazy because there are several moments in the third act where she is pushed over the edge to the point that she would kill her boss for being horrible to her. She does a glorious job of balancing both sides of this character. Also there are so many memorable moments in the film in most of them come from Bradley Preston being a complete idiot and just a complete jackass like him relaxing In the sun and he doesn't even notice that he's not Paying attention to Linda and he says I could do this all day which is Captain America's catchphrase which that is one of the funniest moments in the film Or the thing where he thinks that Linda is cutting his dick off a like screaming at their blood spilling everywhere but it turns out she was just cutting open a rat to eat and that is probably again one of the most WTF moments of the entire film. The scenes wear him and Linda tried to kill each other Or the theme where Linda points out how stupid and how horrible of a boss Bradley is is really funny Or the scene where Bradley attempts to take his clothes off because he thinks he's going to have intercourse with Linda and told him no and he  puts his close back on and his reaction is really funny. Also again  all these moments are really funny and really disturbing. Also unlike Mercy at least the storyline in this film is way more memorable because it takes the concept and executes it perfectly well The storyline in Mercy is really boring and really forgettable. I still think this is up there with Pizza Movie as one of the funniest movies of the entire year. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like fun and over the top films like Lisa Frankenstein with Kathryn Newton. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this movie a 10/10.

Here is My Movie Review of The Runner

Here is My Movie Review of The Runner

Now I heard a lot of people say that this movie is utter garbage and I watched it and I agree with them. This movie is one of the worst films of the entire year and you can tell that this film was massively made by AI because every shot in every green screen looks faker than an MCU movie. Now I'm going to explain why I think this is the worst film of the entire year.

Now the storyline is just really bad because all it is is that you have this woman named Maia Marten who gets a call from this mysterious man called the collar and he told her that he kidnaped her son and it's up to her to like run all across town to save her kidnapped son and that's it that's the story and it's just a horrible rub off to Phone Booth with Colin Farrell. But the difference is that that movie had way better acting in a much better storyline. This just had the most boring and generic storylines you will ever see in a movie. But the worst thing about the movie is the acting because everyone is just over the top and really bad. Now let's talk about Gal Gadot, which I got to be honest she used to be a good actress but ever since Snow White 2025 something became very apparent to me that she can't act anymore and ever since then I have not been looking forward to seeing any of her movies. And unfortunately the bad acting continues in this film because she is so over the top as her character Maia Marten  because all she does is freak out and yell a lot and it is so dumb and so ridiculous because you can't take it seriously it's not like you could laugh about how bad her performances because when you watch other actors like Nick with cage you can laugh at him because he's going over the top and you can tell he is having fun. But this performance was so unbearable to watch. Also the character of Maia Marten is so boring because all she wants to do is to rescue her son and that's it she doesn't go through a character development and there are multiple things of her freaking out it's just so dumb and ridiculous because you can't take it seriously. Damian Lewis plays the villain The Caller and he's just so boring he  gives a flat and really generic villain performance that's not even memorable. The character of the collar is just boring, just generic, just very Bland and very uninterested and even the things where you see him he's not really that intimidating it's just again boring. I don't have much to say about his character. To be honest I don't have much to say about the acting, it's just really bad. But the thing I really want to talk about is the directing by Kevin MacDonald Is really bad because it really feel like he is just making this movie with AI which I only be surprised that if he did make this movie with AI because every green screen shot he uses looks like garbage it looks really bad and he died develop any of the characters again Maia Marten  It's such a boring and uninteresting character because she doesn't really go through any character development throughout the film all she wants to do with the rescue her son that's it again it's just a boring and terrible character it doesn't help that Gal Gadot's performance is really bad. So overall I think he did a terrible job directing this film. So in conclusion I think this movie is horrendously bad. It has horrible acting, is really generic and really Land storyline it's just not interesting. Again if you have seen the movie Taken with Liam Neeson you've seen this film. It's just a generic and really boring and really terribly made film. But then that made it interesting because of Liam Neeson's performance and with that it looked like a movie that looks like AI. To be honest I think this movie is up there with Moana 2026 and one of the worst films of the entire year. This is also up there with Mercy with Chris Pratt as one of the dumbest films of 2026. I say to skip this movie and go watch Searching with John Cho because that movie had a better storyline and way better acting and everything looks so real. Well Everything in this movie looks so cheap and fake. I give this movie a 0/10.

Here is My Movie Review of Passenger

Here is My Movie Review of Passenger

Now when it comes to this film I was looking forward to it because the trailer looked interesting and it had a cool poster. The cinematography is really awesome. So I watched it and I have to say this is one of the dumbest movies of this year. Mainly because it's not scary and the characters are such fucking jackasses they make the dumbest decisions To the point that it makes the characters In Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey. That's how bad the characters are in this film.

Now I will say my only positives about this movie is that the trailer was awesome and the poster looks really good other than that this movie is shit it's really bad and really boring and not even scary because when it tries to be scary they just have a bunch of stupid jump scares that don't do anything. To be honest the stuff in Constantine with Keanu Reeves was more scary than anything in this movie.

Now let's talk about the story which this has to be one of the dumbest premises for a horror movie because what this movie is about is that you have these two people named Tyler Genochio and his fiance Maddie Brecker and they're together and they are driving along the road until they see this dead body and apparently they're this entity known as the highway from hell ak the passenger and they have to figure out what who he is going to kill next And try to put a stop to it. Yeah that is so fucking stupid do you know what this reminds me of the movie Se7en was Brad Pitt in Morgan Freeman because both of these movies focus on people trying to figure out What is the serial killer´s next Target but here the difference Se7en wasn't borning and stupid it actually a very smartly written psychological Thriller and the character that weren't a bunch of stupid jackasses they were smart.

Now let's talk about  the acting in this movie is really bad because this might be some of the dumbest acting of the entire year. Now everyone is just on autopilot and their characters which oh my god we'll get to the characters later because I actually have a lot to say about them. This movie is probably up there with Moana 2026 as one of the worst acted films of the entire year. It is also up there with The Grudge from 2020 as one of the worst acted horror movies of the 2020s.

Now Jacob Scipio plays Tyler Genochio In the film and his performance is really nothing he did give the life with and flat out boring performance in this film and sometimes it comes off as laughable whenever he is screaming or freaking out you can tell that it is obviously he is just on autopilot in terms of  his acting. But the character of Tyler Genochio is a complete idiot because this character he is trying to figure out who the passengers next victim is but there's literally a scene where He is getting attacked by The Passenger and he doesn't even run off the road he gets dragged under a car and he's just freaking out and he is screaming and it's just so laughed with dumb it's probably one of the dumbest moments of the film It doesn't really go through a character development he's just there to figure out who the Passenger´s next victim is and that's it. Again him getting pinned under that car by the entity AKA The Passenger was still left with stupid because You can't take it seriously due to Tyler screaming like Nicholas Cage To be honest if Nicholas Cage one in the movie at least I will be able to laugh at more because even in a bad movie Nicholas Cage can still be funny And you can tell he's having fun As the character. The chemistry between him and Lou Llobell, Melissa Leo, and Joseph Lopez is okay.

Lou Llobell plays Maddie Brecker  and her performance might just be the worst performance of the film because she goes so over the top and it is so dumb and so annoying to watch in fact whatever she It's freaking out or screaming it is so stupid to the point where you just don't care about the performance you just get annoyed by it. Although it felt like she was trying to act like Shelly Duvall in The Shining, the difference being when Shelly Duval sadly rest in peace. Now when she was freaking out in The Shining as Wendy Torrance it made sense because her husband Jack Torrance played by Jack Nicholson he was crazy because he was possessed by the ghost in the hotel that's why he went crazy and tried to kill her and their son. Now it worked there because the characters were actually more intelligent and you actually enjoyed watching them. But the character of Maddie Brecker If so dumb because their scenes where she's about to be scared or trying to figure out what is the passengers next victim and they're literally a scene where she's in the car and the entity starts choking her and strangling her and she doesn't even know that the entity is in the car until she starts beating it up and that just proves how dumb her character is and the romance between her and her boyfriend Tyler was so stupid to the point that I didn't care about the romance. The chemistry between her and Jacob Scipio is okay.

Melissa Leo plays Diane Larson and her performance is probably the worst performance in the film because the biggest problem is that much like with every other performance in this film all she does is yell and freak out and just go completely over the top and it gets really really annoying throughout the film and it feel like She was in another horrible horror movie like something like The Turning  that's how bad her performances. But the character of Diane Larson much like the rest of the characters in this movie she's also really dumb because even though she tries to help Tyler and Maddie Brecker trying to figure out who the passengers next victim is and trying to prevent another person from being killed. But the thing of that this character makes so many dumb decisions because there's literally a scene and I'm not  Even kidding here where Where Diane Larson is in the car talking to Tyler about the passenger and she doesn't even know he's right behind her and he chokes her and she like screaming and he rips her fucking head off Now they watching this I'm like wow you are the dumbest female character of the entire year because we see a serial killer get out of the fucking car and try to either fight it or run to the Hills run as far away as possible but yet this character doesn't even fucking do it then she just get their fucking head ripped off. Seriously, that's how dumb this character is. The chemistry between her and Jacob Scipio is okay.

Joseph Lopez plays The Passenger and his performance is essentially a nothing performance because he is just really boring in this movie because you barely see him and when you do he's covered in really bad CGI. Not to mention The passenger as a villain is nothing because the movie doesn't explain anything about him. I get that the point of the character is that he's very mysterious and they try to make him like Kevin Spacey's character John Doe from Se7en. But the difference is that John Doe had a personality and he was memorable. The Passenger is just this dark entity who follows people around and kills them and takes the form of them. That's all it does. Not to mention whenever the Passenger shape shifts in this movie especially in the third act where it becomes Diane Larson the person that died it looks so artificially cheap Manly because of the really bad CGI. Although the scenes with the passenger is just so boring they're not even scary even when you see it in the beginning we're just stands On the side of the road it's like that's not really scary in fact I would argue that Moment in The Shining where Jack Torrance goes crazy and tries to kill his family with more scary because you understood what drove Jack insane With this I get what it is trying to be like it's trying to be a like A supernatural entity Like in the film it follows where the entity with the sexual transmitted disease but the difference being that that film executes its villain Better This one does not do it well at all. The chemistry between him and Jacob Scipio is okay.

However the worst thing about this movie is the directing by Andre Ovredal Now the weird thing is that  is his directed some really amazing horror movies like The Last Voyage of the demeanor which was  a  film I really enjoyed. He also directed the autopsy of Jane Doe. He also directed scary stories to tell in the dark. So you'll think He would make another terrific horror movie giving his pretty good track record. But unfortunately His perfect streak has come to an end because his directing the film is terrible because he doesn't develop any of these characters Because all we know about our main character's Tower and maiden is that their love and they have to try to figure out what the the passenger is going to Target next and who is he going to kill. That's all these characters do and he also has these characters make some of the dumbest decisions in this movie especially again Diane Larson where she just sits in the car and lets the passenger choke her and rip her head off she doesn't even bother to get out of the car she does even try to fight back against the the passenger she just lets it rip her head off. Although the scares that he puts in the film are just horrible jumpscares they're just not scary they're very poorly placed in the film In fact His other movies are scary like the last voyage of the demeanor when you see Dracula on the ship it's a really scary scene. The stuff in The Autopsy of Jane Doe  That movie is known to be one of the scariest films Of 2016. Even the stuff in scary stories to tone the dark there's some really scary stuff in that film as well. But the way he tries to make this film scary is so dumb and ridiculous he doesn't develop the passenger all we know is that he is an entity that takes the form of people and killed them And that's it and not to mention he tried to make this movie like seven with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman but the difference is that film had better characters and way better writing and I would say that that film was a lot more scarier than this film was because it actually shows the dark and brutal stuff that happens in the film. This film just Wants to show it in the dumbest way possible. So overall I think he did a terrible job directing this film which is really disappointing because he directed those other films that I've mentioned perfectly.

So in conclusion I hated this film mainly because it wasn't scary and even when it was trying to be scary it just had a bunch of false and really dumb jump scares that didn't even scare me. To be honest the stuff in Constantine was Keanu Reeves with more scary and more intense than anything in this film. The only thing I liked about this movie is the poster and the trailer and the cinema photography. But other than that I thought everything else was bad especially the storyline wasn't even that good because it was just a lazy rip off to Se7en because both movies revolved around people trying to figure out what the killer's next victim was going to be. But I think Se7en did it better because that film had bad acting and the characters We're not as dumb as the characters in this movie. The characters in Seven were smart. Also the acting is so over the top and stupid To be honest I think the acting in Renfield, The Lighthouse, The Shining with Jack Nicholson and The Long Walk with Mark Hamill. Which all of those movies had way better acting then in this dumb film mainly because the writing was way better than the awful writing in this film. I think this film is up there with Moana 2026 as one of the worst films of the entire year. It is that bad. I would say that this film is also up there with Mercy with Chris Pratt  as one of the worst films of the 2020s. I say just skip this movie go watch The Shining with Jack Nicholson go watch the movie Se7en with Brad Pitt or you know what actually go watch Renfield with Nicholas Cage Because all of these have better acting and bare storylines and hey you can laugh at The Shining because there are moments that are so dark that they're kind of funny especially when jack Torrance Says to Wendy Whenever you see me typing or not typing That means I'm thinking you are distracting me now get the fuck out. And the reason why it is funny is because of Jack Nicholson's line delivery. But yeah all these movies I'm mentioning are all better than this. So I give this movie a 1/10.
