Here is My Villain Review of The Leader

Here is My Villain Review of The Leader

Now I'm going to discuss the character The Leader who is the main villain in 2025´s Captain America Brave New World And explain why he is one of the entertaining Phase 5 MCU Villains of 2025 so far.

Origin- Now the leaders origin is really interesting because his real name is Dr Samuel Stearns who were the scientist who experimented on Blemsky and turned him into the Abomination and wanted to help Bruce Banner get rid of the Hulk side of him so he can be a normal man Then he experimenting on President Ross and turn him into the Red Hulk So he can have him let out all of his emotions and kill captain America. I think the film does a terrific job of telling the leader of the origin story because in the comics he was a scientist and his head did grow due to the chemicals absorbed into his bloodstream.

Character- now The Leader as character is really interesting because he is pretty unstable because of what He went through because his head mutated and started to grow really big and became obsessed with experimenting on people that is why he experimented on pregnant Ross turning him into the Red Hulk So he can see him let out all his emotions and cause chaos and kill a lot of people including Captain America. I think the film does a decent job of adapting The Leader's character from the comics. They did change a couple things but for the most part he's still an unstable and really intelligent Mastermind of a villain.

Motivation- Now The Leader´s motivation It's actually really interesting because his motivations is that he want to let out the Red Hulk he wants to push present Roth over the edge and haven't kill a lot of people to get revenge on him from experimenting on him against his will so you can understand why the leader is obsessed with the idea of letting out  emotions and I think for the most part the film does give the Leader a really interesting and fantastic motivation.

Best Scenes- Now the leader does it play a big role in this film but the scenes that he  does have are actually really fun and really entertaining. If I had to pick my favorite scene it'll be the scene where The Leader says Now we're getting somewhere. The rage. Why don't you just let it out? All that hatred you tried to hide, All the ugliness, It's still there Ross, Smoldering  behind the eyes.  What we agreed on.  Maybe a hair more. Stop taking the pills  then. But we both know you won't.  Stop finding it. Given in your rage. You're almost there, you can rip their fleet with your bare hands and kill Captain America. Unleash your hatred.  Nothing can stop you Ross. You can crush them all. We can fix this. Not only is it really intense and really suspenseful but it makes sense because The Leader wants present Ross to let out all his rage so he can kill as many people and that will make his daughter Betty hate him even more because his daughter does not believe that he has fully changed Also it does turn a little silly because after he said that The Leader randomly screams at the top of his lungs it is one of the most unintentionally funny moments in the film. But it is all thanks to Tim Blake Nelson's suspenseful and scenery chewing performance.

Evil Deeds- Now The Leader has done a lot of bad things Like how he manipulates President Ross into becoming the Red Hulk to get back at him from experimenting on him against his will. He also tries to kill Captain America by manipulating the Red Hulk into doing it for him  because if he tried to fight Captain America he would lose because the Leader uses his genius Level Intellect. He's not a physical match, he is a psychological threat to Captain America. I think the film did a terrific job of making the leader really sark and really threatening because he wants to push president Roth over the edge so he can kill and make people as possible and try to ruin Ross's reputation.

Conclusion- The Leader is a really interesting villain how he likes to target Captain America and President Ross psychologically and I think the film executes his character really well from the comics because in the comics The Leader is a really intellectual and unstable character. I also like his motivation how he targets president Ross psychologically to get them to turn into the Red Hulk and let out all that anger so he can have betty hate her father even more because he is doing this to ruin Ross's reputation in the film and I think it really works The film because he again he wants to have Ross snap And go bad. Also that monologue he gives combined with him yelling is really dark because he wants Red Hulk to let out all his anger and also sort of funny because it shows how crazy the leader is as a villain. It is all thanks to Tim Blake Nelson's entertaining and captivating performance. Now Despite me saying all these awesome things about The Leader like his monologue, his villain motivation and his origin and his character overall. There is a problem I do have with the leader and that is the design because it just looks weird he doesn't look like comic book Counterpart at all now turn the personality he does. But in turn the design doesn't look like a string bean he looks like Brainiac from DC. But really that's the only problem I have with the Leader; everything else works really well. I'm going to give The Leader a 7/10.
