Here is My Movie Review of Boy Kills World

Here is My Movie Review of Boy Kills World

So basically what happened is that you have this guy named boy and he is death and he can't talk because when he on the kid he had to watch his family be brutally murdered by the Vans Family who recruit Random people to be on their show called The Culling Where they brutally kill each other and it's up to Boy to get revenge on them and avenge his family's death and that's basically what the story is for this film Is really similar to Renfield because both of their stories are really over the top and really gory because there's a lot of blood in these films and I think the film do they tremendous job of telling its story from beginning to end.

The acting this movie is terrific I still think everyone did a fantastic job at that character that I think the acting in this film is probably up there with the field as one of the most over the top acted films of the 2020s but it works extremely well because you can tell that the actors are having a lot of fun and their characters.

However the absolute bank stand out is  Bill Skarsgard as Boy and his performance is really interesting because the boy doesn't really talk at all in this film aside from a voice in his head. Now Boy as a character goes through a lot of tragedy in the film because his family died by the Vans family and had his voice removed from them Andy seeks revenge on them to avenge his family's death. Probably the best moment with Boy is  when he kills Hilda Van Der Koy  live on TV and not only is it really funny but it makes sense because he wants revenge on her and her family for killing his family and it's probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and H Jon Benjamin, Sharlto Copley, Quinn Copeland, Jessica Rothe, Andrew Koji, and Famke Janseen is perfect.

H Jon  Benjamin Does Boy´s inner voice in the film. I have to say he still does a glorious job as the voice of Boy in the film. Now he in the film does provide the way a Boy can talk in the film because he is deaf and he's muted so he can't talk verbally so the voice provides dialogue For boy and he wants to seek revenge on the vans family for killing Boy’s family. Probably the best moment with Boy's inner voice is when he says to Mina that he likes the food That she was carrying and not only is it really funny but it makes sense because He really enjoyed the food that she gave him. Is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Bill Skarsgard is terrific.

Jessica Rothe plays June  27 in the film. I have to say she still did a spectacular job as this character.  Now June's 27 is a really interesting character because at first you think she is with the Vans family trying to kill Boy, but then it's revealed at the end that she wants to help boy take down the Vans family and The Shaman and avenge his family's death. Probably the best moment with June 27th is when she reveals herself as  Boy's younger sister. Not only was it really surprising but the film did a remarkable job of saving it to the end because throughout the family believed that she was a villain but she was actually an anti-hero the whole time. It's probably one of them was shocking moments of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Bill Skarsgard is excellent.

Andrew Koji Play  Boy´s friend Basho In the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as this character. Now Basho as a character is really incredible because he wants to help Boy avenge his family's death from the Vans family. Probably the best moment with Basho is where Here then the goat costume and he is about to kill Boy by hitting him with a hammer but then He has one of Hilda Van Der Koy´s henchmen and not only was it really funny but it makes sense because boy thought he was going to be killed by bad show but he used the hammer to save him for being killed by Hilda Van Der Koy´s Henchmen. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Bill Skarsgard is wonderful

Now for this being Quinn Copeland´s very first movie that she starred in I have to say she still does a spectacular job as Mina. Now Mina as a character, is Incredible because she desperately cares about Boy and wants to help him avenge his family's death. Probably the best moment with Mina Is what she tells the boy to stop killing people and not only is it really powerful and heartbreaking but it makes sense because she wants him to stop killing people and stop being overly violent. It is probably the saddest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Bill Skarsgard is glorious.

Sharlto Copley plays Hilda Van Der Koy´s son Glen Van Der Koy In the film. I have to say he still does a marvelous job as the character. Now Glen Van Der Koy as a character is so funny because he wants to help his mother Hilda Van Der Koy find people to be on their show called The Culling to get people to kill each other. probably the best moment is where he and his wife are having this argument about why his speech didn't sound really good we said it in front of the town's people and not only is it really funny makes sense because  she was annoyed by him when he mentioned  it so many times. Is probably one of the funniest moments of the entire film. Also I can tell that Sharlto Copley Is having a lot of fun as the character he's not taking anything seriously he is hamming it up the entire time going over the top as possible and it works tremendously because the movie itself is really over the top. I still think Glen Van Der Koy  Is probably up there with Dracula from Renfield as one of the funniest villains of the 2020s. The rivalry between him and Boy is awesome. The chemistry between him and Bill Skarsgard is astonishing.

Famke Janssen plays Hilda Van Der Koy In the film. I have to think she does an outstanding job as the character. Now Hilda Van Der Koy as villain is really incredible because her motivation is that she wants  millions of people to watch her show called The Culling Where she makes 12 random people kill each other. To be honest Hilda Van Der Koy really reminds me of Maxwell Lord from Wonder Woman 1984 because  both of them are really funny and they both have these television personalities who love attention and they enjoy cousin chaos. Probably the best moment with Hilda Van Der Koy Is When her brother mentioned that her kids show is being destroyed and she says ¨fuck you and threatens to kill him if he doesn't stay with her and not only is it really funny but it makes sense because the show she was doing was not really a kid show it was a way of 12 people attempting to murder one another. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. Now much like Sharlto Copley I can tell that Famke Janssen was having fun as  her character, not taking any of it seriously just hamming  it up the entire time. I think Hilda Van Der Koy Is up there with Doug from Strays as one of the funniest villains of the 2020s. The rivalry between her and Boy is extraordinary. The chemistry between her and Bill Skarsgard is perfect.

But the best thing about this film is the directing by Moritz Mohr. Now for this being his directorial debut I have to say he does a spectacular job of directing This film because what I love about him directing that he's not taking any of this movie seriously he knows exactly what type of movie that says this is a over-the-top action comedy film. But I also like how he gives Boy a really powerful and emotional character because he is out for revenge on the vans family because they killed his entire family. I think it is really terrific how he did all that. I am so looking forward to what he is going to direct later in his career.

So in conclusion I still really liked the film because the storyline is so over the top and silly but it works extremely well. All the characters are really amazing. Boy has a really powerful and emotional character arc Also Bill Skarsgard gives one of his best performances since he has ever done his career. This is probably the funniest movie of the entire year. You can tell that all the actors were having fun as their characters. The action sequences Were astounding because they were very gory and over the top and it's very Somewhere to the action sequences in Renfield Because the accent sequences in that movie were over the top and really bloody. Also both Hilda Van Der Koy and her son Glen Van Der Koy are really over the top and really funny villains and they are probably up there with Maxwell Lord from Wonder Woman 1984 and Doug from Strays  as  the funniest villains of the 2020s also both  Sharlto Copley  and Famke Janssen Play off each other extremely well you can tell both of these actors were having fun in the film. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like gory over the top movies like Renfield with Nicolas Cage. Then I'm sure you are going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
