Here is My Movie Review of Imperial Dreams

Here is My Movie Review of Imperial Dreams

So basically what happens is that you have this guy named the Bambi who has just been released from prison and he was to spend time with his son Wayne But then you have the game to tell that you get back into the gangster life but he doesn't want to he wants to be a good dad and spend time with his son so it's up to Bambi to try to you get out of that gangster life and turn his wife around and spend more time with his son and that's basically what the story is for this film.

Now the acting in this movie is really tremendous because I like how all the actors take their roles really seriously in this movie is probably up there with Fury as  one of the best acted films of the 2010s.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is John Boyega as Bambi. Now the character of Bambi is really interesting because you really feel bad for him because he just been really from prison he wants to spend more time with his son Wayne But the gangs want him to go back to his gangster life but he wants to turn away from that wife and start over and be a good father to his son and the  character Ark he  goes through that's actually really powerful and really emotional. Probably the best moment of Bambi is when he is reading to his son Wayne. Not only is it really powerful but it makes sense because you can tell that he  really cares about his son. It is probably the most beautiful and emotional scene of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Rotimi Akinosho, Keke Palmer, Glenn Palmer Is excellent.

Rotimi Akinosho plays Bambi's son Wayne In the film. I have to say he does a spectacular job as this character. Now Wayne as a character you really feel bad for me because he really wants to spend time with his father Bambi because he has to get through the rough parts of all of LA with all these violent gangsters that live in there. Probably the best moment with Wayne is Where he says goodbye to his dad being not only that really powerful and really sad but makes sense because due to his dad being involved in violent games he had to be taken by a child protective services. It is probably the most heartbreaking moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and John Boyega is terrific.

Now Kiki Palmer Is not in this movie a whole lot. But for what she had to do a really excellent job as the character of Samaara. Now Samaara as a character is really interesting because she wants you to get out of prison and spend time with her husband Bambi and their son Wayne. Probably the best moment with Samaara Is were she tells the Bambi that he just got out of jail and doesn't want him to be part of the gangs and not only that really intense. But it makes sense because she wants him to spend more time with their son rather than being a violent gangster. It is probably Intense and shocking moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and John Boyega is perfect.

Glenn Palmer plays Uncle Shrimp in the film. I have to say he does an outstanding job as the character. Now the character of Uncle Shrimp Is shown to be very violent Because he wants Bambi to join him and his gang and kill a lot of people. Probably the best moment with Uncle Shrimp  Is when he is chasing Bambi and his son Wayne And trying to kill them and not only that really intense but it makes sense because he is refusing to be in his gang and the deal was if he refuses he will hunt down trying to kill them. It's probably the darkest and the most disturbing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and John Boyega.

But the best thing about this entire movie is the directing by Malik Vitthal Because I like about his directing Is that he really showed The dark side of living in LA because with really scary that there are violent gangs that lived there that will try to kill you and I like how I take the subject matter really seriously because it could be really dangerous of living in certain parts of LA that have violent gangsters. I think it is really tremendous of how he did that.

So in conclusion this is a really powerful and emotional masterpiece of a film that shows the dark places of living in LA. The storyline is really intense and amazing. Also  This is probably the best performance that John Boyega has ever done in his own career as the character of Bambi. Also the bonding between Bambi and his son Wayne is the strongest aspect of the entire film. I still think if you're a fan of Beast of No Nation with Idris Elba you'll definitely like this film. I give this movie a 10/10.
