Here is My Villain Review of Dar-Benn

Now I'm going to discuss the character of Dar- Benn who is the main antagonist of 2023's the Marvels and I'm going to explain why she's so boring and forgettable. 

Origin- Now Dar-Benn origin I will admit it is a little bit better than Yon Rugg origin from the first film That's still not saying much because her origin is still really boring so we find out in the film that she was born on point how much she the Kree warrior and she had a battle of Captain Marvel which She destroyed  their sun and  their planet is dying. To be honest her origin is fine But it's still one of the blandest villain origins In the MCU not as bad as Gravik from Secret Invasion but still bland. 

Character- Now Dar-Benn Is just one of the more forgettable villains in the MCU her character she said they creed Warrior who wants to save her planet and that's all a bad motivation but she doesn't really go through any character development she goes through a little bit more than Yon Rugg from the first Captain Mobile film but she is so still bland and forgettable. 

Motivation- Now Dar-Benn, motivations are a little bit better than the Yon Rugg´s Motivation because unlike him she actually had to understandable motivation she wants to save her plante at Holla by stealing Kamoa Khan´s bengal to get enough light to restore the planet and I still think the film a decent motivation you understand where he's where she is coming from but still it's probably the weakest villain motivation in the MCU not horrible just Okay. 

Best Scenes- To be honest Dar Ben doesn't really have memorable moments now the speech that she gives to her people is one of the more terrible scenes of her character because she wants their plan to be saved. The climax between her and Captain Marvel Was really interesting. I think it's one of the more interesting moments with her character in the film and to be honest the scenes aren't horrible due to  Zawe Ashton´s decent performance. 

Evil Deeds- To be honest Dar Ben does a little bit more evil stuffing on Yon Rugg did in the first Captain Marvel bed That's still not sandwich The only thing she does is try to kill Captain Marvel if she doesn't give her Kamaua Khan´s bengal and Tries to kill Kamala Khan and that's it She doesn't really do that much more evil. To be honest the film sort of makes her evil but not by much. 

Conclusion- Dar-Benn Is slightly better than Yon Rugg from Captain Marvel but she is still bland. She is still forgettable. She has a decent motivation and she had a few good scenes. Also Zawe Ashton gives a decent performance. But that being said she is one of the weakest MCU villains because well her motivation is interesting I don't think any that strong and actress is motivation was in the eternals but that being said she is way better than Ultron from Avengers Age of Ultron because that villain is just so over the top and silly well Dar-Benn at at least entertaining. I'm going to give Dar-Benn a 4/10.
