Here is My Movie Review of Kung Fu Panda 4

Here is My Movie Review of Kung Fu Panda 4

So basically what happens is that it takes place after the third movie left off you have Po and he is still protecting the Valley of Peace. But Shifu tells him that he has to have someone else be the dragon warrior But he doesn't want to because he wants to stay as the Dragon Warrior so then he is Fox named Zhen tells him about this evil sorceress called the chameleon who is taking all of the masters Chi So to then hand and power to take down the chameleon and save the valley and that's basically what the story is for this film.

Now  The voice acting in the film has been very mixed. Some people there are some who think the performances are good while some people say the performances are really bad. I have to say It had Relatively great voice acting. The one thing that all the Kung Fu Panda movies have in common is that despite how weak the film is, one thing that would be praised will be the performances.

Jack Black comes back as Po. I have to say he still does a terrific job at the character he was great in the first film released way back in 2008 and years later he is still very entertaining as this character. Now Po  goes through a really interesting character arc because he Wants to be the Dragon Warrior he doesn't want to give it up but Shifu  tells them that there are changes that you have to let go of what you like and I think the film handled that really well. Probably the best moment with Po is where he makes Zhen The new Dragon Warrior and not only was it really emotional but it makes sense because Po has to retire and become The watcher of the spirit realm is probably the most powerful moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Awkwafina, Dustin Hoffman, Ke Huy Quan, Viola Davis, Ian McShane, James Hong, and Brian Cranston Is really fantastic.

Awkwafina In this film a lot of people don't really in the her film as Zhen  and a lot of people find her very annoying. I have to say I didn't find her that annoying. I actually do think she did a terrific job as the character. Now the character of Zhen a lot of people find her really annoying. I actually found a really interesting one you feel really bad for because her backstory is very tragic because she was an orphan and she was a thief so The Chameleon took her in as an apprentice. Probably the best moment with Zhen Is where she betrays Po and not only was it really dark but it made sense because she was raised by the chameleon and it's probably the most heartbreaking scene of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Jack Black is excellent.

Dustin Hoffman comes back to voice Shifu In the film. Now do you we're looking forward to seeing Shifu battle The Chameleon. Unfortunately he's not in the film as much as he was in the first three movies but for what he does have he still does a tremendous job as the character. Now she flew out of the character is relatively the same as he was in the first three Kung Fu Panda movies He is very strict here They mentored to Poe and in this film he wants Poe to not be the Dragon Warrior and let someone else do it I did the film handle that really well like he wants Paul to pass down the title of Dragon Warrior to somebody else. Probably the best scene with Shifu is where Zen and called him a squirrel and he gets offended and not only was it really funny but it made sense because he did not like being called a A squirrel and it's probably the funniest moment of the entire film The chemistry between him and Jack Black is still perfect.

Now the actor I was with was really interesting to see in the film was actually Ke Huy Quan. Now how is he in this movie? He does a terrific job as Han but he is not in the film that much but he is relatively entertaining. Now the character of Han It is really entertaining because here that thief he doesn't really like Poe when they first need but towards the third act he does start to like him probably the best moment is where Paul tried to tell him who he is and he doesn't know even though they met like 20 minutes ago and not only was it really funny but it made sense because they have barely known each other for very long and it is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jack Black is remarkable.

Now let's talk about the thing that everyone has been discussing about the film: How is Ian McShane as Tai Lung? Well I got to say he was perfect. It was really fun to bring him back okay sure he needed more screen time but for the screen time that he did have he was actually really great. He was a really effective secondary villain in the film.  Now a lot of people are mad that they kind of watered down Tai Lung and I don't think it ruined the character. He is still  the same as he was in the first film because he still doesn't like Po but he does redeem himself. Probably the best moment with Tai Lung   is when he tells Po that having Oogway Make him the Dragon Warrior with a huge mistake and not only was it really a effective and powerful moment it might make sense because he wanted to become the dragon warrior but ugly saw darkness in him and it's probably the most powerful. but it is actually a clever scene because it calls back to the very first Kung Fu Panda film. It is probably the strongest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jack Black is still marvelous.

James Hang Came back as Mr Ping in the film. I have to say he still does a great job even after the first film he is still very entertaining. The character of Mr Ping is relatively the same as the first three movies. He still cares about his adopted son Po. I think the film handled that extremely well. Probably the best moment with Mr Ping is when he reunites with his son. Not only was it really powerful but it makes sense because he really loves his adoptive son Po. It is probably one of the most beautiful scenes of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jack Black is still awesome.

Brian Cranston comes back as Li In the film. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as the character. Now the character of Lo is relatively the same like how he was in the third film. He really cares about his son Po And doesn't want him to be killed by The Chameleon. Probably the best moment with Lee is where he Immense that he is scared and not only was it Wasn't really powerful but it makes sense because he doesn't want his son to be killed by The Chameleon, not only probably the most beautiful and strongest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jack Black is still remarkable.

Now let's talk about Viola Davis. How was she as The Chameleon? Well she was actually really incredible as this character. Now a lot of people say that The Chameleon is a weak villain but to be honest I actually enjoyed her as a villain her backstory and her connection to Zhen was actually really great because she wanted to do kung fu but she couldn't because she would deem too short so she turned she turned to sorcery instead and she picked up then him on the streets and raised her as her own. Probably the best moment with The Chameleon is where she  She combined all the previous master´s power abilities and becomes this all powerful creature and not only was it really intense but it makes sense because it was to show how dark and how powerful she was as a sorcerer and it's probably the darkest moment of the entire film. The rivalry between her and Po is exquisite. The chemistry between her and Jack Black is astonishing. Now she is as perfect and incredible as Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2 No but I do think she is a very effective villain in this film. You understand what she's coming from. She's very powerful. Also she's a villain that you just love to hate. You want something bad to happen to her and she does get some form of punishment. She gets taken into the spirit room by Tai Lung at the end of the film.

Now let's talk about Mike Mitchell's directing Now he's directing this movie Israel interesting I do like how he gives Po powerful and emotional character arc and giving Zhen very tragic emotional backstory I think all that works out really well. But to be honest The studio should have gotten the directors of Kung Fu Panda 3 that way it would have be more like the first three films So overall I think is directing Is good but not perfect.

Sun conclusion: I like this movie. I think it is the weakest out of the Kung Fu Panda movies but I don't think it was as bad or as disappointing as a lot of people saying The film had the best action sequences in the franchise. I think It has the second best climax because obviously the Kung Fu Panda movie that had the best climax is Kung Fu Panda 2. The Chameleon is a very fun and threatening villain. I think The Chameleon is up there with The High Evolutionary from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 are the one the best villains of the 2020s I think this is one of the most underrated movies of this year so far. But to be honest this is the weakest one out of the Kung Fu Panda movies I do think the first three movies are better. But this is a very solid entry in the Kung Fu Panda movies. I give this movie an 8/10.
