Here is My Villain Review of Joy Wang

Here is My Villain Review of Joy Wang

Now I'm going to be discussing Joy Wang Who in the main antagonist of 2022's Everything Everywhere All At Once. I'm going to explain why she works as a very tragic and misunderstood villain and what makes her one of the best villains of the 2020s.

Origin- Now Joy Wang´s Origin is very entertaining because she Is born and raised in her family and her mother Evelyn Wang doesn't pay attention to her and she doesn't spend time with her. So she decides to travel through the multiverse and wants to Kill every variant of her mother and I think the film does a tremendous job of giving her a tragic and understandable motivation.

Character- Now Joy Wang out of the character you actually feel bad for because her mother doesn't spend enough time with her she also ignores her. So you can understand why she doesn't like her mother Evely Wang and I think the film did an excellent job of making you feel sympathy towards her because you can see where she's coming from in terms of not getting enough attention from her mom she's getting constantly mistreated and not respected by her.

Motivation- Now Joy Wang's motivations are very incredible and very tragic so she wants to go inside the multiverse and kill every variant of her mom and you can understand why she'll go through such a drastic measures to accomplish them because her her mother treats her like garbage She doesn't enjoy spending time with her She gets constantly pushed around by her so you can understand why she would do to accomplish her mission To kill every variant of her mother in the Montiverse and I think the film does a extraordinary job of giving her this tragic and understandable motivation.

Best Scenes- Now Joy Wang has A lot of powerful and emotional scenes but if I had to pick my favorite moment it would be the scene where Joy went break breaks down crying and tells her mother That's it They should just go this separate ways and not only was it really powerful but it makes sense because she doesn't want to hurt anybody and every time that she and Evelyn Wang are together they're actually hurting each other. I did the film and handled this moment really well because you feel sorry for the both of them. They have to forgive each other. I like how it doesn't interrupt it with a stupid or forced joke; they just let the scene play out very emotionally and very strongly and that is thanks to Stephanie Shu´s emotional and beautiful performance.

Evil Deeds- Now Joy Wang does do a lot of bad things in this movie she tried to kill every event of her mother She tries to destroy the entire multiverse and well all the things that she's doing are very terrible you actually can see where she's coming from she wants to with a world without her mother because her mother Evelyn Wang Just neglect her doesn't spend enough time with her so I think film does a beautiful job of showing  how evil she is but also makes you feel bad for her.

Conclusion- Joy Wang is a villain that you can feel really bad for because her mother Evelyn Wang is not paying any attention to her. She is ignoring her and you  understand why she wants to go to the multiverse and kill every variant of her mother. The scene where she breaks down crying to her mother is one of the most powerful and beautiful scenes in the entire film Because she just wanted her mother except her because she is in love with Becky which her mother does not approve of her being LGBTQ but eventually she accepts her as her daughter and see redeems herself and is happy to be Evelyn's daughter. it is all thanks to Stephanie Shu ´ s beautiful and emotional performance. I'm going to give Joy Wang a 10/10.
