Here is My Movie Review of The Menu

Here is My Movie Review of The Menu

So basically what happened they have this couple named Margot and Tyler who are traveling to the island to go to this expensive restaurant for dinner where they meet Chef Slowilk and at first then start going very well but eventually Margot  Figure that there's something sinister going on with Chef Slowilk And she wants to figure out what is true intention of so is up to Margot to figure out Chef Slowik Is up to and trying to escape and that is basically what the story is for this movie.

Now the acting in this movie is tremendous I still think everyone does a wonderful job at the characters because they give really awesome entertainment performance and you can tell everyone just having fun in this movie.

Nicholas Halt plays Margot's boyfriend Tyler in the film. I have to say he does an excellent job as the character. What makes Tyler such an interesting character is he Idolizes Chef Slowik. Probably the best moment with Tyler is when Chef Slowik Tells him to cook something but after the food is done he says he doesn't like it and treats Tyler like garbage. Not only was it really emotional but it made sense because in real life there are some chefs who would treat the cook like garbage for not making a perfect recipe. The chemistry between him and Anya Taylor Joy, Hong Cau, and Ralph Fiennes Is still terrific.

Hong Cau plays Elsa In the film. I have to say she still does an amazing job as the character. What makes Elsa such an awesome character Is that her motivation is that she wants to follow Chef Slowik´s orders. Probably the best moment with Elsa is at the beginning where she is showing Tyler and Margot Around the island and explaining to them what they do on the island. It is probably one of the best moments in the film. The chemistry between her and Nicholas Halt is still outstanding.

Anya Taylor-Joy Plays Margot In the film. I have to say she still does a fantastic job as the character. What makes Margot such an excellent character is that right from the start she knows all this is really strange and she knows that Chef Slowik is doing something really evil.  Probably the best moment with Margot Is when she says to Chef Slowik That she doesn't like any of his food and not only was this really suspenseful but it made sense because ever since he's been serving the food all he's been telling the guest not to eat the food and it is the most intense moment of the film. The chemistry between her and Nicholas Hoult is really excellent. Fun Fact Emma Stone was considered to play Margot.

However the absolute standout of the entire movie is Ralph Fiennes as Chef Slowik. What makes Chef Slowik Such a complex and entertaining villain is that at first he doesn't seem to be that bad. He's very down to earth when he meets the guest but as the film goes on you can see him go slowly and slowly into madness. Also his villain motivation is probably the most messed up but understandable motivation of the 2020s. So he wants to kill all the guests and he wants to kill himself because nobody liked or respected him as a chef. I also like the backstory to Chef Slowik it is explained in the film that when he was younger he was a fry cook and he was making burgers The people can enjoy them. But years later he would rise up to fame and all that passion and making people happy was all gone And he would become the head of this Hawthorn Which is for only rich people to attend to but the customers never liked his artistry and effort at the chef so he decided to kill himself and all his chefs and all the customers. I still think the film gives him a really compelling backstory. I still think Chef Slowik Is still up there with Joy Wang /Jobu Tupaki as one my favorite villains of the 2020s so far.  The chemistry between him and Nicholas Holt is still incredible. Also the rivalry between him and Margot Is astounding.

The directing by Mark Mylod Is really interesting because what I like about his directing is that he does a great job having social commentary in the film and the social commentary is that they are different types of critics in the world for example a art critic Critiques art and judges it because they want to know if the artist did and great job or a bad job of making the art. Also there are film critics and judge a film of how good or bad the film is. Also fun fact I am also a movie critic because I judge the movies of how good or bad by the acting the directing and how much I was entertained by the film overall. I still think he does an incredible job with that.

So in conclusion I still really enjoyed this movie. I still think the storyline is really fun and really easy to follow. I still think Chef Slowik Is still one of my favorite villains Of the 2020s. I also still think the social commentary is really well handled how the film explained that there are different critics In general. I still think if you enjoy movies with suspenseful moments like Murder on the Orient Express then I'm sure you're going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
