Here is My Movie Review of Fantastic Four 2005

 

Here is my movie review of Fantastic Four 2005.

So Basically What the Plot is that you have Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm and they become the Fantastic Four in must  team up to take down Dr. Doom and save the world. That is  basically what the story is for this movie.

Now the acting in this movie yet it's really over the top but I think for the most part most of the performances still hold up I'll say that it's not as bad at the acting in Madame Webb because the acting and that film is not really good at all well with this film there is only one bad performance for the most part it is relatively entertained to watch but that being said the dialogue from some of the actors is a little cheesy and silly but it still works because this movie was released before the MCU because this was one of those early 2000s Marvel films. 

Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic I still think he does a great job as this character. Now Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic as Is relatively the same because in the comics he is really smart and he is the leader of the fantastic floor but and that's what they decide to make him a little more arrogant then he was in the comics because in this he is more into the scientist side of him rather than being a team leader that's not the fault of the performance it's just the fault of the writing Fun fact actors like George Clooney, Patrick Wilson, Matt Smith, Dev Patel, William Jackson Harper, John David Washington, Zachary Levi, Ryan Gosling, Daniel Craig, John Cho, Diego Luna, Henry Cavill, Tom Ellis, Christopher Abbott, Rege- Jean, Page, Penn Badgley Hugh Jackman, Jude Law Richard Madden, Adam Driver, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kit Harington, Anton Yelchin, Jack O,Connell, and Mads Mikkelsen were all considered to play Mr. Fantastic

Jessica Alba plays Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman in the film. I still think she does a great job as this character. Now Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman As a character is a little bit different from the ones that she is in the comics because in the comics Susan Storm / The Invisible Woman is really I'm really smart and kind of the level headed one of the team but in this she is just there to be attractive and that's pretty much it and the character goes There are points where she is intelligent but the one in the comic books is a lot more smarter and way more interesting than the one found in this film. Fun fact actresses like Margot Robbie, Emmy Rossum, Saoirse Ronan, Elizabeth Banks, Kate Bosworth, Gwyneth, Paltrow, Emma Stone, Khristian Bell, Taylor Swift, Lily James, Julia Stiles Eiza Gonzalez, Bryce Dallas Howard, Alexandra Daddario, Jodie Comer, Kathleen Waterson, Jennifer Lawrence, Melissa Benoist, Melissa Fumero, Rachel McAdams, Ali Larter, Allison Williams, Aja Naomi King, Victoroa Pedretti, Amanda Seyfried, Mila Kunis, Phillipa Soo, Rachel Brosnahan, Sarah Snook, Maddie Hasson, Julia Stiles, Natalia Dyer, and Scarlett Johansson for all considered to play The Invisible Woman.

Chris Evans plays Johnny Storm/the Human Torch. I have to say he still does an excellent job as the character. Now the depiction of Johhny Storm / the Human Torch is really accurate to the comics because In the source material Johhny Storm/ The Human Torch Likes have fame and love having attention. Probably the best Moment with Johhny Storm/the Human Torch Hey humiliate Ben Grim / The Thing on national television Not only was it funny but it made sense because he enjoyed having family and attention. Fun fact actor Paul Walker, Austin Butler, Zac Efron, Ross Lynch, Jordan Fisher, Brandon Butler, Brandon Perea, Joe Karey, Nicholas Galitzine, Matthew Daddario, Michael Provost and Jack Quaid were all concerned to play the Human Torch.

Michael Chiklis voice Ben Grimm/The Thing. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Ben Grimm/The Thing such an interesting character is that you really feel bad for him because when he looks in the mirror for the first time he is disgusted of how he looks so he decides to leave the team and try to find a care to make himself human again. Is it probably the most emotional scene in the entire film The Rivalry between him and Johnny Storm is still funny because it really reminds me of the rivalry between Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fun fact actors like Bruce Willis, Liev Schreiber, Daveed Digs, Alan Richardson, Channing Tatum, John Cena, Jason Segel, Jason Biggs, Sasha Baron Cohen, John Barnthal, Ed Skrein,David Krumholtz, James Gandolfini, David Boreanaz, Christian Cook were all considered to voice the Thing.

     Probably the worst performance in the film is Join McMahon is  as Dr Doom because i just don't think he was the right choice to play Dr Doom Because for a role like this you need someone who has a European accent. I think Michael Fassbender will make a better choice as Doctor Doom  because when he is Magneto in the X-Men movies you can see that there are some potential of him playing a perfect Doctor Doom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also the backstory they give Dr Doom in the film is an absolute rip off to Green Goblins origin story from Spider-Man  because both of them had their company to take it away from them and that makes them stake revenge on the people who wronged them.  Fun fact actors like Mel Gibson, Jude Law, Robert Downey Jr, Tim Robbins,  Nicolas Cage, Mads Mikkelson, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Tim Roth, Domhnall Gleeson,  Eddie Redmayne, John Hamm, David Tennant, Nikolaj Coster Waldo, Viggo Mortensen, Giancarol Esposito, Alexander Skarsgard, Dan Stevens, Daniel Craig, Mark strong, Daniel Bruhl, Andrew Lincoln, and Cillian Murphy were all concerned to play Dr. Doom. 

  

the directing by Tim story. Now I have mixed feelings about his directing. Now I would say that the stuff with the Fantastic Four themselves with their origin story is correct it is accurate to the comics. Also the rivalry between Johnny Storm and the thing is also accurate to the comics. But what I don't like about his directing is that he makes Dr. Doom is way too silly and he also makes Dr Doom show his face a lot in the film In the comics he always hits his face with his helmet.

So in conclusion I still enjoyed this movie. Now I would say this Is this the worst early 2000s comic book movie no because Daredevil 2003 is way more unwatchable and cringe worth than this movie. At least it is funny and entertaining and it got some of the stuff from the comics correctly. Also I will say that this movie is not as bad as the 2015 one because that one was way too dark for no reason. Well this movie is way more light-hearted than that one. I think more people should give it a watch before saying it is the worst Marvel movie ever made. I give this movie a 7/10.
