Here is My Villain Review of Mysterio

Now I'm going to discuss the character of Mysterio who is the main villain in 2019´s Spider-Man far from home and explain why he had one of the best villains of 2019 and  one of the best Spider-Man movie villains and one of the best MCU villains. 

Origin- Now Mysterio´s origin in the film is a little bit different from the one he has in the comics because in the comics Quentin Beck was a failed stuntman and movie star who decided to make up this superhero that he calls Mysterio to trick people into believing that bad stuff was happening but in reality or just another illusion so he can transfer him for crying thinking didn't commit. But in this film Quentin Beck was a a employee he worked for Tony Stark / Iron Man and together they invented these glasses called E.D.I.T.H but Quentin Beck will go unaccredited and Tony Stark would eventually fire him so he decides to make up this Silver Hero called Mysterio  with a bunch of other ex Stark employees. He also makes up this backstory that he was from this universe code Earth 613 and explains to Pierre Parker / Spider-Man that he was battling these things that he called the elementals and his family was killed By them. I have to say the film does a terrific job of Making Mysterio´s origin story the same with some changes like him being a former employee at Stark industries making up this fake backstory that he was battling the elemental and his family was killed in front of him by the Elementals. 

Character- Now mysterio out of character is perfect He is exactly what he is in the comic books because when you first introduce to him in the film Mysterio says that he's from an ultra universe called Earth 616 But he is lying because every MCU fan knows that they live on Earth 199999. He said that he is here to help Spider-Man take down the elementals but in reality he is the one that is responsible for the creation of the elementals because he makes it look like famous landmarks around the world are being destroyed. But in reality nothing is happening. Mysterio also loves attention; he likes fame; he's very full of himself. Everything we know from him in the comic books so I think the film did a spectacular job of adapting mysterio´s characters from the comics to the big screen. 

Motivation- Now Mysterio´s motivation is really incredible because he wants to prove that he is a better Superhero than Iron Man was so in order to accomplish this he crates the supervillain identity of Mysterio and uses the drones to make it look like  famous landmarks are being destroyed So he can come in and kill the  elementals that is causing all the problems so to make himself look like a superhero and frame Spider-Man to make it look like he killed him And he actually succeeds in accomplishing his mission Frame Spider-Man to make it look like that he killed him and he also revealed Spider-Man secret identity and having the world turn against him. I think the phone that they spectacular job are giving Mysterio and really powerful and interesting motivation because he wants to prove that he could be the greatest hero on earth he wants to take all the credit for himself so people can believe that he is a good guy who is here to help society by taking down all the elements but in reality he is a liar and a fraud because he is not here to help he is here to get attention and credit for himself. 

Best Scenes- Now Mysterio has a bunch of awesome and memorable moments but if I had to pick my favorite moments. It'll be the bar scene where he is explaining his whole plan to his team and the scene where he fight Spider-Man and playing mind games with him by showing him all these illusions that he has conjured up with the drones and not only is it really dark but it just shows how smart and clever Mysterio manipulating Spider-Man in the thinking  that the world is falling apart. Also the line that he says ¨I created Mysterio to give the world someone to believe in. I control the truth. Mysterio is the truth and not only  is it really awesome and tremendous. But it makes sense because Quentin Beck did make the identity of Mysterio so the world can believe that he is  a new superhero that can save the world. It was all thanks to Jake Gyllenhaal´s powerful and entertaining performance. 

    Evil Deeds- Now Mysterio does a lot of terrible things in the film like he lies to everybody that he's from an old trait universe he's saying that he's here to help he manipulate Spider-Man to believing that the world is falling apart and famous landmarks are getting attacked he also reveals fireman's identity and force the world to turn against him. He also tries to kill Spider-Man and his friends. He pretends to be an ally to Spider-Man so he can take credit for destroying the illusions that he made with the drones. I think the film does a remarkable job showing how Self-centered and selfish Mysterio is as a villain.

Conclusion- Mysterio is an excellent villain Because he had a really interesting and incredible motivation because he wants to believe that he is a better superhero than Iron Man. His character is exactly how it is in the comics. His backstory is really interesting how it's like the comics with some interesting changes to it. The scene at the Bar where he explains his plan to his team. I still think Mysterio is up there with Xu Wenwu from Shang Chi as one of my favorite MCU villains. I think he is up there with the Green Goblin as one of the best Spider-Man movie villains. Also the illusion flight he has with Spider-Man is really awesome. It is all thanks to Jake Gyllenhaal's awesome and entertaining performance. I'm going to give Mysterio a 10/10.
