Here is My Movie Review of Tetris

Here is My Movie Review of Tetris

So basically what happened is that it told the real life Story of Alexey Pajitnov who invented the game Tetris during the Cold War. And then you have the guy named Hank Rogers who wants to sell the game to the US but the Russians wanted to keep the rights so it was a battle of who received the rights for the game before Nintendo got a hold of it and that is basically what the story is for the film. I have to say the storyline of this movie is very interesting because this really did happen. People were fighting for the rights to use Tetris in gaming.

The acting in this movie is astonishing. I still think everyone does a glorious job with their performances.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Taron Edgerton as Hank Rogers. What makes Hank Rogers such a terrific character is that he really wants Russia to share the rights of Tetris with the US so other people outside of Japan can play it. Probably the best moment with Hank Rogers Tell his wife that he doesn't get The rights for Tetris to Nintendo they will lose their house because Nintendo will sue him for not doing what he has told and not only was it really a shocking moment but it made sense because it real life if Hank Rogers didn't give Nintendo the rights to Tetris they would sue him which will result in him losing his house and it is probably the most shocking and surprising moment of the entire film  The chemistry between him and Nikita Efremov, Toby Jones, Sofya Lebedeva, and Roger Allen Is excellent.

Roger Allen Plays Robert Maxwell in the film. I have to say he still does a fantastic job and this character. What makes Robert Maxwell such a really interesting character is that he is willing to help Hank Rogers Nintendo the right to use Tetris But he wants to sell the right to Sega and PC and arcade games so they can use Tetris to make money. Probably the best moment with Roger Maxwell is where she is telling Hey Roger that she wants to sell the rights to Sega so they can use Tetris to make money and not only was it really intense but it made sense because in real life Roger Maxwell wanted to sell the right to Saga so they can keep Tetris and make a lot of money off of it and sell it to people in Japan to make millions of dollars off of it It is probably the strongest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Taron Edgerton  Is perfect.

Toby Jones plays Robert Stein in the film. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as the character. What makes Robert Stein such an incredible character is that he basically wants Hank Rogers to have  Have them Give him the right to use handheld devices for Tetris. Probably the best moment with Robert Stein Is where he asked Hank Roger to give him more time to get him to get the rights for Tetris to Nintendo and not only was it really intense but it made sense because in real life Robert Stein needed time to get the money so he can give Nintendo the right to Tetris It is probably the most shocking moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Taron Egerton is wonderful.

Nikita Efremov plays  Alexey Pajitnov In the film. I have to say he still does a remarkable job as the character. What makes  Alexey Pajitnov Such a excellent character is that he really wanted to make a game that had to do with getting points By connecting blocks together. That's how he came up with the game Tetris which eventually went on to be a worldwide phenomenon and very popular with a lot of gamers. Probably the best moment with Alexey Pajitnov Is where  he is inventing the game Tetris. Not only was it a very powerful scene but it made sense because in real life Alexey Pajitnov invented the game Tetris. It is probably the most Incredible scene of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Taren Edgerton is remarkable.

Sofya Lebedeva Plays Sasha in the film. I have to say she still does a wonderful job as the character.  What makes Sasha such an incredible and interesting character is that she really wants to help Hank Rogers give Nintendo the rights for Tetris so other people can play it around the world.  Probably the best moment with Sasha is where she is telling Hank Rogers that if the plan doesn't work She'll lose everything not only was it really emotional and tragic but it makes sense because in real life had Rogers would have lost everything if she didn't succeed of giving Nintendo the rights to use the Tetris it is probably the most strongest and most nail biting moment of the entire film The chemistry between her and Taren Edgerton Is perfect.

The directing by Jon S. Baird Is Marvelous because what I like about his directing is that he did an assassin's job of discussing the life of Hank Rogers and how he had to get Robert Maxwell to agree with him to share the rights of Tetris for Nintendo. Also the really interesting that he discussed the eventual consequences if Hank Rogers didn't had Nintendo in Russia agree to share the rights because if he didn't Nintendo with sued him and he will lost his whole house. I think it is really incredible of how he did that.

So in conclusion I still really enjoyed this movie because it did a great job of telling the true story of Hank Rogers of how he got Nintendo and Russia to share the rights of Tetris so they can bring it to the US and make lots of money. Turn Edgerton to such a fantastic job at the character of Hank Rogers you can tell that he's very determined into getting Russia and Nintendo to agree to share the rights for Tetris And I think that is the strongest aspect of the entire film the battles between each Country and company in terms of who gets to have the rights to the game. I think this is either way in my top 10 favorite movies of 2023. I also still think this is up there with  Guy Ritchie's The Covenant as one of the most underrated films of 2023. I still think this is still up there with Argyle and one of the most underrated films of the 2020s. I still think this is up there with I think this is in my top 10 favorite biopic movies of all time. Also this is still in my top 10 favorite Apple TV Plus Original Films. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like the movie Zodiac with Jake Gyllenhaal then I'm sure you're going to like this one I give this movie a 10/10.
