What Makes a Film Underrated

Now I'm going to explain what makes a film underrated and explain why it is underrated or overlooked or over hated. 

Now there are movies out there that people either hate, don't really talk about or just flat out forget about and that's what I want to discuss what makes a film underrated? Well it can be a lot of things either nobody really discusses it enough or sometimes it is a movie that gets a lot of hate but some people say it is decent or even not that bad and that's what I'm going to mention. Now I'm going to give a few examples of movies that I find underrated and what films can be considered underrated. 

Now there are a lot of movies that I find really underrated and I'm going to give some examples of why I think they're not that bad and why I enjoyed them. Like for example Mute now this is the movie that a lot of people really don't like they think it's very terrible but I never really have a problem with it because sort of a sequel to the movie Moon which that movie I really like. But this one I enjoyed simply because the atmosphere taking place in Berlin Germany in the future has a lot of potential in the film handled that extremely well. Also having Paul Rudd playing  a villain it actually very interesting because Paul Rudd always plays nice characters  But in this movie he plays a full one psychopath who enjoys killing people and I think his performance is still very entertaining. Another movie that a lot of people seem to not really like is the movie I, Robot. Now this movie is very interesting because it takes place in the future where robots have turned against humanity and they try to kill them. Will Smith is very entertaining in this film as Detective Dale Spooner and it is probably his most underrated film that he has done. Also Alan Tudyk is very entertaining to watch as Sonny. Now this next film isn't really terrible but it's more of a film that people forget about and that is Ries Of The Guardians which is the most underrated dream works animated film. Now this film I really like because it's kind of a Christmas movie but those are kind of an Easter movie as well because you have the Easter Bunny voice tremendously by Hugh Jackman and he is the funniest character in the entire film This movie also has a lot of great messages about believing and what you really care about and in this movie the kids have to believe in the Guardians and that is probably the strongest aspect of the film. This movie his a very underrated villain and that is Pitch Black Voice spectacularly by Jude Law which always entertains me he is scary but he's very funny in a very dark way and and it's just because of Jude Law´s incredible delivery of his dialogue his motivation Is really interesting. Also he is one of the most underrated anime villains. 

So those are a few examples of movies I find underrated. Now I'm going to discuss what movies could be considered underrated and either movies that don't get enough mention or nobody really watches or talks about them when they bring up movies in general. Now I'm going to give a few examples of films that could be considered underrated. Like for example the movie Cherry, that movie gets a lot of hate but if more people watch it They might start to enjoy it and consider it a very underrated film. Another example will be The Kings of Summer Now that well didn´t get a lot of hate but it has been forgotten because not a lot of people talk about that movie because it's been forgotten since 2013 which was the year it came out and it's kind of disappointing that not a lot of people don't really talk about that film because it's kind of Similar to The Goonies in a way because you have a lot of friends spending time with each other and having fun So I think in more people  watch it I think they will eventually call it a very underrated film. My final example Will be the movie Sisu Now this will be isn't really bad It's more have to do with the unit came out because it came out during a film festival in 2022 and we didn't get until 2023 so it kind of under the radar and all of people were discussing it and it's kind of surprising because it had the really cute dog in it and they epic World War II movie It's kind of like Punisher War Zone in turners of all the violence and the accuracy was the tremendous and I think more people watch this film I think they will eventually call it really underrated. 

So in conclusion this was very fun and interesting to do. It was very Incredible to discuss what makes a movie underrated and discuss what movies should become underrated. It was also fun to list movies that I enjoy that not a lot of people enjoy. It was just really fun to discuss why people should give a movie a chance even if it's bad because they'll end up liking the film.
