Here is My Movie Review of Sr.

Here is My Movie Review of Sr.

Now this is going to be a very different kind of review because usually  I talk about the acting but this time I'm going to explain why this film was made and why it's one of the most powerful films of 2022.

Now the reason why this movie was made is because if you have heard Robert Downey Jr's dad Robert  Downey Sr tragically passed away on May 19th 2023. So before he died He wanted to make a documentary about his past life so he asked his son Robert Downey Jr'  to help him Make it with him and I think the film does a beautiful and emotional job of making you feel bad for both of them because Robert Downey Jr had to watch his dad die right in front of him when he was in his house.

Robert Downey Jr Play himself in the film and he gives a very tragic and beautiful performance when he mentions that he wanted to become an actor like his father it is one of the most beautiful and gripping scenes of the entire film but probably the best scene with Robert Day Jr is where he and his son Exton Elias Downey are saying there final goodbyes to have grandfather and Robert Downey Jr's dad Robert Downey  Sr and not only is it really tremendous but it makes sense because they have to say goodbye to someone that they truly loved. The chemistry between him and Robert Downey Sr, and Exton Elias Downey  is wonderful.

But the true standout of the entire film is Robert Downey Jr's father Robert Downey Sr. For this being the last thing he had ever done he definitely impressed everyone with this performance and it's probably out of all the performances in the film it is probably the most tragic and incredible performances because this is the last thing he ever did and to see them mentioning that his son wanted to become an actor is probably the most emotional and heartbreaking moments of the entire film because he wanted to make his son happy and he succeeded in doing that. Probably the best moment with Robert Downey Sr is where he Says his final goodbyes to his son Robert Day Jr and not only was it really sad but it made sense because he asked he had to say goodbye to the person he loved the month that being his son it is probably the most Tire jerking moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Robert Jr is astounding.

Exton Elias Downey Plays himself in the film. Much  like I said with the other two performances  this is probably the most powerful and strongest performance he had ever given because he has to say goodbye to his grandpa Robert Downey Sr. Probably the best scene with Exton Elias And where he and his dad Robert Downey Jr spend their final fear moments with Robert Downey senior and not only is it really powerful but probably one of the sad moments in the entire film because they have to think about the son they care about and this is really accurate to people in real life who have to go through that they have to say goodbye to the people that they loved and it is probably the most beautiful and marvelous moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Robert Day Jr is astonishing and tremendous.

Now well the performances are perfect the true best thing about the entire film is Chris Smith's directing because He directs the film with Care and passion because he is basically telling the real life story of Robert Downey Jr and his father Robert Downey Sr and he does such a magnificent and spectacular job because everything really happened to Robert Day Jr his father was addicted to drugs and and Robert Downey Jr Had to get over his drug addiction and he eventually became one of the best working actors working today. I think it is wonderful and really brilliant of how he did that.

So in conclusion I really enjoy this film. This is one of the most powerful and beautiful movies of 2022. It is easily in my top 5 best movies of 2022. The passion that Robert Downey Jr had while making the documentary the same file goodbye is to his dad is very beautiful and very emotional. This is also the most powerful and beautiful Netflix original film. I think if you enjoy The movie Val which is a very powerful and emotional documentary about Val Kilmer and then you'll definitely love and fair warning you might need some tissues because this is one of the saddest Robert Downey Jr films. I give this film a 10/10.
