Here is My Movie Review of The Minions

Here is My Movie Review of The Minions

So basically what happens is that you have Kevin, Stewart, and Bob who are the minions and they are searching for a new villain to be their boss so they decide to go to Florida to find their new boss so they go to Villain Con then they meet this villain named Scarlett Overkill and she accepts them As her minions and tell them that they have to steal Queen Elizabeth the II’s crown but after Bob become king she  starts to hate them and wants to kill them for not listening to her and it's up to Kevin Stewart and Bob and the rest of the Minions to take down Scarlet Overkill and that's basically what the story is for this film.

The Voice acting in this movie is still terrific. I can tell that everyone was having fun as their characters.

Pierre Coffin voices Kevin, Stewart, and Bob. I still think he still does an amazing job as  these characters. Now the character of Kevin, Stewart, and Bob are really interested because they have searched for a very long time to find And new leader to serve to and each one of them had their own personalities Kevin is the leader of the team and his the most responsible one out of the group and he really wants to find a new boss to serve. Stewart is The one that's not excited and ready to do stuff and wants to help Kevin find a new Boss to serve them. Finally Bob is like the little brother of the group. He is the one that is the curious one who likes to have a lot of fun and also wants to help Kevin and Stewart find a new boss to serve them. Probably the best scene with Kevin, Stewart, and Bob is where they Trying to get a ride to go to Orlando Florida to go to Villain Con And they try multiple attempts until eventually they do get a ride from this family who are a family of robbers and not only was it really funny but it makes sense because they need a ride to go to Orlando Florida. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Sandra Bullock, Steve Carell, Jennifer Saunders, and  John Hamm Is still fantastic.

Jennifer Saunders voices Queen Elizabeth the II. I have to say she still does a remarkable job as this character. Now the character of Queen Elizabeth is relatively interesting because she doesn't want to meet us to have her crown, she wants to keep it so she still can be a queen of England  and you feel bad for her when Scarlet Overkill steals her crown. Probably the best scene with Queen Elizabeth the second is where she is keeping the crown away from Kevin Stewart and Bob and once Bob had the crown in her carriage she beats him up and not only was it really funny but it made sense because she didn't want them to steal her crown. It is probably one of the most hilarious scenes of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Pierre Coffin Is excellent.

Steve Carell  voices  Young Gru in the film. I have to say even though he's not in the movie a whole lot. I still think he still does a spectacular job as the character. Now Gru in this movie is essentially a set up character from the Despicable Me movies. The chemistry between him and Pierre Coffin Is still marvelous.

John Hamm plays Scarlet Overkill's husband Herb Overkill In the film. I still think he does an excellent job as the character. What makes Herb Overkill such an interesting secondary villain is that he essentially helps his wife Scarlett become queen of England. Probably the best  scene with Herb Overkill is where He had tortures Kevin, Stewart, and Bob in the dungeon because they didn't obey his wife’s Scarlett’s orders but they find it fun and not only was it really funny but it makes sense because Bob became king and she was very mad  that  happened and it is probably one of the most entertaining moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and  Pierre Coffin Is still awesome.

However the absolute big stand out of the entire film is Sandra Bullock as Scarlet Overkill. What makes Scarlet Overkill such a marvelous villain is that at first she really likes the minions she likes to spend time with them but after Bob becomes king she starts to hate them and wants revenge on them for betraying her so she decide to steal the crown from Queen Elizabeth the II herself so she can become Queen of England. Probably the best scene With garland over killing where she tells Kevin, Stewart and Bob a bedtime story about her being the big bad wolf and she eats them in the story and Kevin Stewart are  really scared but Bob just went to sleep. Not only was it funny. But it made sense because she wanted to tell the minions a really great bedtime story.  probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The rivalry between her and Kevin, Stewart, and Bob is fantastic. The chemistry between her and Pierre Coffin  is still perfect.

The directing by Kyle Balda Is really interesting because what I like about his directing is that he does a terrific job of explaining the origins of the minions and how they met Gru and became his minions. I also like the bonding between Kevin, Stewart, and Bob really strong because they really care for each other and I still think it is really awesome of how he did that.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy the film. I still think the storyline in the film is really interesting how it explains how the minions meet Gru. I still think this is one of the most underrated movies of 2015. I also still think that Scarlet Overkill is up there with  Pitch Black as one of the best animated villains. I still think more people should watch this film especially if you like the first Despicable Me movie. I give this movie a 10/10.
