Here is My Movie Review of Run
So basically what happens today you have this girl named Chloe who wants to get into a great college and she lives with her mother Diane who constantly takes care of her by giving her her medications. But then she learns that her mother is hiding some really dark secrets. So it's up to Chloe Sherman to figure out what her mother is hiding from her and that is basically what the story is for the film.
The acting in this movie is still fantastic. Now even though there are a lot of actors it really focuses around two characters from the majority of the film.
Santa Paulson plays Diane Sherman In the film. I have to say she still does a terrific job as this character. What makes Diane Sherman Such an interesting character is that You can tell that she really cares about her daughter Chloe But as the film goes on Is that you see her and slowly into madness is until she goes completely unhinged. probably the best moment with Diane Sherman And where she is that the pharmacy and she sees Chloe breathing very intensely and she tells the people in the store to give them some space and not only what it really dark but it made sense because she thought she was going to die in front of her due to her breathing very heavily. It is probably the most intense moment of the entire film. Also the twist revealed that she isn't Chloe's real mom is a shocking twist in a film because it turned out she stole her from her actual family and raised her as her own and it's probably the most disturbing twist of any film. The chemistry between her and Koera Allen Is terrific.
However the absolute biggest stand out of the entire film is Koera Allen as Chloe Sherman. What makes Chloe Sherman such an interesting and emotional character is that she really wants to fit out what her mother is hiding from her and she wants to know what's been going on with her. Probably the best moment with Chloe Sherman is where she has to climb on the roof to get back into her room to get her inhaler and not only was it really intense but it made sense because she was born with asthma and if she didn't use her Inhaler she would have died. It is probably the most disturbing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Santa Paulson is excellent. Fun fact Koera Allen Is actually in a wheelchair in real life meaning that she has to use it for mobility because she can't really walk. Also fun fact this is her first actual movie that she has done because before she was an actress she was a play director.
The directing by Aneesh Chagantyis incredible because what I like about his directing Is that he does a great job of tackling the subject of being in a wheelchair because in real life when a person is in a wheelchair they need a lot of help of doing things like for example if there are on medication they might need their parents help to give them their medication by getting it out of the cupboard So the person can take their pills whenever they need to. Or sometimes they might need the pants to help get them in and out of bed everyday. I still think it is really astounding of how he did that.
So in conclusion I still really enjoyed this movie. I still think Chloe Sherman and then really fun and stuff about that character because you want her to find out what her mother Diane is up to. I also like how the film Actually casted someone in the wheelchair for the part of Chloe because sometimes Hollywood will cast someone who is not In a wheelchair and some people might get turned off by the film by saying that they should have casted someone who's actually in a wheelchair. I still think Was really interesting what the film did. Also I like this film because even though it's not an A24 film in some ways it does feel like an A24 film because it has a really simple story and really intense moments throughout like the movie Midsummer with Will Poulter. I also like how the twist in the film was handled. I also like how it didn't reveal the twist until the near end of the film because If they did it early on in the film it would have been way too predictable. But luckily they waited at the right time to reveal what actually happened. Also this is still in my top 10 best movies of 2020. It is also in my top 10 Favorite movies of 2020. This movie really reminds me of The Fundamentals of Caring with Paul Rudd because both of the main characters are in wheelchairs. I still think if you like Shutter Island with Leonard DiCaprio then I am sure you'll like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
