Here is My Movie Review of Life

So basically what happened is that you have these six Astronaut who have returned from Mars and they are still in outer space and they are studying on a alien And then name it Calvin and at first everything seems to go well but later at Calvin has a mind of its own and they have to deal everything in their power to prevent Calvin from coming to earth and that is basically what the story is for this movie. 

Now a lot of people say that the acting in this movie is really bad. But I disagree with that statement because I still think the acting is still terrific. If you want to watch a movie that has really terrible acting go watch Flatliners 2017 that film has really bad acting. 

Ryan Reynolds plays Rory Adams in the film. I have to say he still does an amazing job as the character. What makes Rory Adams such an incredible character is that all he wants to do is to prevent Calvin from coming to earth and killing all the humans. Probably the best scene with Rory Adams is where he is trying to fight off Calvin but Unfortunately it kill them and not only was it really intense but it made sense because Calvin was really smart and he killed Rory Adams by going down into his mouth and killing him from the inside. It is probably the most disturbing scene in the entire film. This is probably Ryan Reynolds's most underrated performance he has ever done. The chemistry between him and Rebecca Ferguson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Oiga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare, and Jake Gyllenhaal Is still awesome. Fun fact: a year after this movie came out Ryan Reynolds reprised his role as Deadpool in Deadpool 2. 

 Ariyon Bakare plays Hugh Derry In the film. I have to say he still does an excellent Job as the character. What makes Hugh Derry such a wonderful character is that much like the rest of the team he also wants to prevent Calvin from going to earth and killing  millions of people. Probably the best moment with Hugh Derry Is where he is Studying on Calvin In the lab to make sure nothing goes wrong but eventually it goes rogue and bites Hugh Derry’ hand and escapes. Not only was it really shocking but it made sense because Calvin Eventually had a mind of its own and a science to attack him. It is probably the most shocking moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Ryan Reynolds is marvelous. 

Oiga Dihovichnaya plays Ekaterina Golovinka In the film. I have to say she still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Ekaterina Golovinka Such a interesting character is that much like everyone else on the ship she also wants to prevent Calvin from going to earth and killing people. Probably the best moment with Ekaterina Golovinka is when she Sacrifices herself to save the team by telling Dr David Jordan to not open the door because it will let in Calvin. Not only was it really Emotional but it made sense because she didn't want her team to be killed by Calvin. It is probably the most heartbreaking scene of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Ryan Reynolds is amazing. 

Rebecca Ferguson plays Miranda North In the film. I have to say she still does a spectacular job as the character. What makes Miranda North such Interesting character is that much like everybody else she doesn't want Calvin to go to Earth and kill people. Probably the best moment with Miranda North Is when she and Dr David Jordan are trying to escape from Calvin and not only was it really dark but it made sense because she didn't want them to be killed by it. It is probably the most suspenseful moment of the entire film.  The chemistry between her and Ryan Reynolds is still perfect. 

Hiroyuki Sanada plays Sho Murakami In the film. I have to say he still does a great job as the character. What makes Sho Murakami such a remarkable character Is that much like everybody else on the ship he doesn't want Calvin to escape the ship and go to Earth and kill millions of people. Probably the best moment  Sho Murakami Is when he is sacrificing himself to save Miranda North and Dr David Jordan From Calvin so he lets it kill them so they can escape from it. Not only was it really heartbreaking but it made sense because he didn't want his teammates to be killed by it. It is probably the most saddest scene of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Ryan Reynolds is still outstanding. 

However the big stand out of the entire film is Jake Gyllenhaal as Dr David Jordan. What makes  Dr David Jordan such a tremendous Is that he, much like his entire team, wants to prevent Calvin from coming to earth and destroying all of humanity. Probably the best moment with Dr David Jordan Is when he sacrifices himself to save Miranda North by Going To the escape pod That has Calvin inside and letting it kill him while he crashes back down to earth. Not only was it really emotional but it made sense because he didn't want her to be killed by Calvin. It is probably the most depressing scene in the entire film.  The chemistry between him and Ryan Reynolds is astounding. Fun fact 2 years after this movie came out Jake Gyllenhaal Would eventually go on to play Mysterio in Spider-Man far from home in 2019. 

The directing by Daniel Espinosa Is incredible because what I like about his directing is that He does a great job of making really smart and sympathetic characters because the characters aren't stupid like the characters  In the movie Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey because those characters make a lot of dumb decisions. while the characters in this movie actually care about each other and want to survive against the alien. I think it is really Remarkable how he did that. 

So in conclusion I don't think this movie is as  bad as a lot of people said it is. I still think the story is really interesting. of how these astronauts have to prevent the alien from coming to Earth and invading it. I still think the actors do a great job with their performances. especially Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal. I still think this is a really underrated movie of 2017. I also think this is probably Ryan Reynolds’s most underrated film he ever did. I also don't think the CGI is that bad In the film because if you want a movie with really bad CGI go watch the Flash from this year because that movie's CGI is so bad it's hard to look at the CGI. Well this film looks really awesome to look at. I still think more people should watch this movie before calling it the worst movie of 2017. I give this movie a 10/10.
