Here is My Movie Review of The Wild
So basically what happens is that you have this lone named Samson who lives at the New York zoo with his son Ryan and he is trying to teach him how to roar like a real lion. Then one day he gets trapped in the green box and gets taken away to the wild. Then you have this wildebeest name Kazar who wants to be at the top of the food chain and Samson and his friends too rescue his son Ryan and take down Kazar. That is basically what the story is for this movie.
Now a lot of people say that the voice acting in this movie is really bad but I simply disagree with that statement because I still think everyone does an outstanding job as their characters. To be honest, the movie with the worst voice acting is surface up to wave mania because that one is basically unwatchable.
Kiefer Southerland voices Samson. I have to say he still does a remarkable job as the character. What makes Samson such an amazing character that all he wants to do is to be reunited with his son Ryen. Probably the best moment with Samson is when finds out that Ryan has been taken away to go to the wild and he tries to chase after the truck. It is probably the most intense part of the movie. Fun fact actors like David Spade, Edward Hibbert, Rick Mirandas, Danny DeVito, Jim Carrey, Tom Kenny, Jason Lee, Justin Long, James McAvoy, Bill Murray, Nathan Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Nathan Lane, Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg, Steve Carell, Alan Arkin, Brandon Fraser, Albert Brooks, Tim Allen, Patton Oswalt, Ray Romano, Rob Paulson, Jack Black, John Turtirro,Robin Williams, and Owen Wilson were all considered to voice Samson. The chemistry between him and Eddie Izzard, Greg Clipes, Jim Belushi, and William Shatner Is still really excellent.
Greg Clipes voices Samson's son Ryan. I have to say he still does a terrific job voicing the character. What makes Ryan such a sympathetic character Is that all he wants to do is to be reunited with his dad. Probably the best scene when Ryan is when he finds out that all his dad's stories are made up. It is probably the most emotional thing in the film. The chemistry between him and Kiefer Sutherland is still amazing.
Eddie Izzard Voices Nigel in the film. I have to say she still does a fantastic job as the character. Now Nigel Isn't really a villain but he does go along with Kazar's plan because the wildebeest think he is god so they treat him like a king so you can understand why he will go along with them. Probably the best moment with Nigel Is when he One of the wildebeest takes him to meet They're leader Kazar. Not only was it Interesting But it made sense because they Said that he saved them from the lions. It is probably the most entertaining part of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Kiefer Sutherland is still really astonishing.
Jim Belushi Voices Benny In the film. I have to say he still does a marvelous job as the character. What makes Benny a remarkable character is that all he wants to do is to help Samsome find Ryan. Probably the funniest moment is where Benny tries to confess his love for Bridget. Not only was it funny but it made sense because he loved her but she didn't really like him. It is probably the funniest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Kiefer Sutherland Is still really astounding.
However the absolute standout of the entire film is William Shatner as Kazar. What makes Kazar such an interesting villain is his motivation that he wants to be at the top of the food chain. Now a lot of people say that Kazar is the worst Disney villain. But I disagree with that statement because I still think the worst Disney villain is King Candy AKA Turbo from Wreck-It Ralph because at least with Kazar he was intimidating and very entertaining to watch. Well King candies / Turbo was just boring and not intimidating. Well Kazar was actually menacing and had a presence on screen. I still think he is the most underrated Disney villain. Probably my favorite moment with Kazar is where during the final battle of the film he almost kills Samson; it is probably the darkest scene in the entire film. I still think this Up there with Matthew McConaughey's performance as Walter from The Dark Tower as one of the most underrated villain performances. Fun fact actors like Tim Allen, John Goodman, Robert Downey Jr. Chuck Norris, Christopher Lloyd, Kelsey Grammer, Coim Meaney, Patrick Stewart, Christopher McDonald, Hank Azaria, Tommy Lee Jones, Billy Bob Thornton, Alan Cumming, Kurt Russell, and Gary Oldman were all considered to voice Kazar. The rivalry between him and Sameson Is still really remarkable. The chemistry between him and Kiefer Sutherland It's still really tremendous.
The directing by Steve Spaz Williams is really interesting. What I like about his directing is that he really does a great job of tackling the subject of the food chain because in real life the predators eat the prey. I still think it is really awesome that he did that.
So in conclusion I still really enjoyed this movie. I still think the story was really engaging. To be honest I still think Surfs Up 2 Wave mania is still the worst animated movie ever made because with this movie it has some entertainment value well that movie is not entertaining in the slightest. I still think more people should give this movie a chance before they call it garbage. I still think this is the most underrated Disney movie. I give this movie a 10/10.
