Here is my movie review of Air Strike

So basically what happens is that it tells the real life events of the Second Sino Japanese War During the Battle of Shanghai led by Colonel Jack Japanese and it's up to Colonel Jack Jason to survive the second Sino Japanese war. That is basically what the storyline is for the film. I have to say the storyline of this movie, well in concept, is interesting and accurate to real life events. The film makes it unintentionally funny because of what happens during the film. So overall I think the story is accurate and wow not that interesting. 

Now the acting in this movie is really weird because The dubbing of the actors is so ridiculous to the point that it's actually funny and it is actually one of the most over the top acted films of 2018. It is probably one of the most over the top active films of the 2010s. 

Liu Ye plays Xue Gang Tou In the film and his performance is probably one of the strangest performances because his dubbing in the film is so laughably bad to the point that it's actually funny. Now the character of Xue Gang Tou  Is really weird well he is accurate to his real-life counterpart how he fought in against the Chinese and the Japanese and exposition he's just not that interesting of a character. The scene where he sees one of the Pirates get killed it's supposed to be really serious but you doesn't really freak out about the whole thing he's like kind of chilled and relaxed about it and it's probably the most Unintentionally funny moments of the film because It is supposed to be a serious moment but due to the really bad dubbing of the actor that comes off as really funny. The chemistry between him and Bruce Willis, Song Seung-Heon, Ma Su,  Is decent. 

Bruce Willis plays Colonel Jack Johnson In the film and I will say out of all the performances he was the least bad. I think he did an ok job. But it is a really dull performance. Now the character of Colonel Jack Johnson is accurate to how he is in real life because he was a guy who fought in the Second Sino Japanese War. The scene where colonel Jack Johnson is Is is celebrating his birthday and it was the weirdest moments but also the most intentionally funny moments because the met be a really emotional scene because he is getting old but it is so over the top and throwing to the point that's one of the most unintentionally funny moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Liu Ye Is decent. 

Song Seung-Heon plays An Ming Xun/An Ming He and his performance is not really good in fact it's mostly laughable because much like I said about Liu Ye  the dubbing is really bad To the point of absurdity. Now The characters of  An Ming Xun/An Ming He It's really weird because they are both fighter pilots and well they are accurate to their real life counterparts they're just not the interesting thank you as characters because they're just there to give exposition they just don't really wear anything in this film. The thing where they're like running with all these pigs and they're freaking out. It's about to be this very intense scene because you have the Japanese like trying to kill them. But it's just becomes  a comedic scene because they're throwing the pigs up in the air and catching themIt's probably one of the most unintentionally funny moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Liu Ye Is decent.

 Su Ma plays Ding Lian and out of the performances she's the worst performance in the film because her dubbing is probably the worst out of all the other actors in this film. Now  Ding Lian As a character well accurate to how she was in real life, every other character she's just not that interesting. They tried to do some emotional stuff with her and for the most part I think it worked okay but it could have been a lot better. The thing where she's bonding with her family is one of the few awesome moments of the film. Now yes it could have been a lot better with a better script but I think it was decent you do feel bad for ding Lian. The chemistry between her and  Liu Ye Is decent.

The directing by Feng Xiao Is really weird It's supposed to be a war history film but for some reason he tries to Into a war comedy film and it is so roughly silly of the way he does stuff there's stuff that  you can take seriously but most of it you really can't because of the weird stuff that these characters do Like having them throw pigs up into the air and try to catch them well then getting attacked by fighter pilots. So overall I think his directing was so bad, so ridiculous to the point that it's unintentionally funny. 

So in conclusion I think this is a really bad film because the storyline was so interesting it was just really boring. To the point that nothing  really happens in the film. The performance is so bad although Bruce Willis does do a decent job in the film. But most of the other performances are so awful and so ridiculous to the point that they are really funny to watch and that's because of the horrible but really laughably terrible dubbing in the film. Also this movie has really over the top action Sequences and they are so Bad to the point that they are really entertaining to watch. Now yes this is one of the worst films of 2018. The acting is bad, the dialogue is really bad. But there are some entertainingly horrible moments to the point that comes off as really overly silly and ridiculous. I think it's up there with the fanatic at one of the most Unintentionally funny films of the 2010s. Now objectively it does get a 1/10 because the acting is really horrible, the storyline isn't that interesting and the characters are just really forgettable. But because of how overly silly and ridiculous this film is. I give this film a 10/10. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like movies that are so bad that they're actually funny like Speed 2 Cruise Control with Willem Dafoe.
