Here is my Movie Review of the Lighthouse 

So basically what happens is that you have these two lighthouse keepers named Thomas Wake and Ephraim Winslow and they live on this island And have to watch over this lighthouse but add the days go by it slowly eats at there Sandy and they slowly go in the madness and they have to try to figure out what is called in them to go crazy and then they see a mermaid and they find out that she is the one that's causing them to go crazy so it's up to Thomas Wake and  Ephraim Winslow trying to keep their sandy and that if basically what the story is for the film.

The acting In this movie Is very interesting because despite it only has 3 actors in the entire film all the actors still do a Terrific job of playing their character that you can tell all of the actors in the film are having fun as their characters and this is probably up there with Avengers End Game as one of the best movies that has the best acting In 2019.

Robert Pattinson plays Ephraim Winslow in the film. I have to say he still does a remarkable job as the character. What makes Ephraim Winslow Such a excellent character that he is really trying to keep a sandy well he's stuck on the island but at the film goes on and he becomes more unstable as the days go by Probably the best moment with Ephraim Winslow is where he is looking at the top of the Light house and wants to know what's in there and not only was it really intense but it made sense because he wants to know what is causing the both of them to go insane. It is probably the most powerful moment in the entire film. Fun fact three years after this movie came out Robert Pattinson would eventually go on to play Batman in the Batman from 2022. The chemistry between him and Willem Dafoe is still exquisite

Now for this being Valeriia Karaman ´ s Very first movie she starred in. I have to say she still does an awesome job as the mermaid. Now the mermaid basically serves as like this thing that causes both Ephraim Winslow and Thomas Wake  To go crazy and probably the best moment with the mermaid is where she lets out this really loud screech and not only was it really intense but it made sense because it caused Ephraim Winslow To go crazy and it's probably the most disturbing moment in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Robert Pattinson is excellent.

However the absolute big stand out of the entire film is Willem Dafoe as Thomas Wake. What makes Thomas Wake such a outstanding character that much like Ephraim Winslow he is also trying to keep his sandy while he is on the island but eventually he becomes more crazy and unstable as the days go by. Probably the best moment with Thomas Wake is where he gets mad at Ephraim Winslow for not liking him cooking and giving that amazing monologue and not only was it really intense but it made sense because he worked really hard to make the food but Ephraim Winslow did not like it It is probably one of them stand out scenes in the entire film. Now is this my favorite Willem Dafoe performance? Well it is my second favorite Willem Defoe performance. My favorite Willem Defoe performance is that of Green Goblin from the Spider-Man movies. Fun fact 2 years after this film was released Willem Dafoe would eventually reprise his role as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man No Way Home. The chemistry between him and Robert Pattinson is still tremendous.

The directing by Robert Edgers Is terrific because what I like about his directing is that  he does a fantastic job of developing the two characters Ephrain Winslow and Thomas Wake showing how slowly they start to lose their sandy and start going into complete madness. I also like how he keeps the storyline very simple because it's just two lighthouse keepers on an island trying to keep their sandy wall watching the lighthouse. I still think it is really tremendous how he did that

    So in conclusion this is still one of my favorite movies of 2019. The storyline is really interesting because it is very simple instead about two lighthouse keepers trying to keep their sand and the film executes the storyline really well. Also Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson playoff each other really well. You could tell that they had a lot of fun doing the movie. Also this film is a masterpiece of cinema it is a true work of art. Now this movie is also in my top 10 best movies of 2019. Also this is up there with Everything Everywhere all at once as one of my favorite A24 films. I still think if you like Green Room with Patrick Stewart then I'm sure you're going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
