Here is My Movie Review of Captain America the Winter Soldier

Here is my movie review of Captain America the Winter Soldier

So basically what happens is that it takes place after the Avengers left off Steve Rogers / Captain America is still grieving over Bucky Barnes But then he finds out that Bucky has been brainwashed by Hydra into the assassin known as Winter Soldier So Steve Rogers slash Captain America Had to do everything is power to take down Hydra and Make Bucky remember who he is. That is basically what the story is for this movie.

Now well I liked the acting in Captain America The First Avenger I have to say the acting is a lot better and much stronger in this film that was in that film.

Chris Evans plays Steve Rogers/ Captain America. I have to say I liked him as Steve/Captain America in the first film I have to say his even better and more entertaining in this film than he was in that film. What makes Steve Rogers/Captain America such an emotional and complex character is that He is still coping with the lost of his best friend Bucky Barnes because he fell off the train and he thinks he is still dead. Probably the best scene with Captain America is the twist reveals that he find out that his friend Bucky Barnes is still alive but he has been brainwashed by Hydra to become This Ruthless Killer known as the Winter Soldier and Steve Rogers / Captain America's reaction was so surprising because he did not know that that was his best friend trying to kill him. It probably was the most shocking moment in the entire film.

Samuel L Jackson plays Nick Fury In the film. Well I like him in the Avengers. I have to say he is even better than he was in that film Because what I like about Nick Fury in this film is Is that he really wants to help Steve Rogers / Captain America to take down the Winter Soldier. Probably the best scene with Nick Fury is where he, Steve Rogers / Captain America, and Black Widow are fighting Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier and Bucket Barns the Winter Soldier fired his rocket launcher and it hits Nick Fury and he almost died and it did probably the most darkest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chris Evans is terrific.

Scarlett Johansson plays Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow. Now well I liked her in the Avengers. I have to say that she is better in this film than she was in that film. What makes Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow such an incredible character is that She really wants to help Steve Rogers / Captain America to take down Hydra and take down the winter soldier and get him out of his trance. Probably the best moment with Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow is where she and Steve Rogers / Captain America Are at Nick Fury's grave in there helping with the lost of their fallen shield agent and is it probably the most tragic moment in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Chris Evans is still spectacular.

Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce In this film. I have to say he does a remarkable job as the character. What makes Alexander Pierce such incredible villain is that he doesn't need weapons or robots to be evil he uses his intelligence to achieve his goals and his motivation is probably up there with Thanos´s motivations in Avengers Infinity War as well as the darkest villain motivations in the MCU Because his motivation that he wants to kill thousands of people to have world peace. I still think Alexander Pierce is up there with Ghost from Ant-Man and the Wasp as one of the most underrated Marvel Cinematic Universe villains. The rivalry between him and Steve Rogers / Captain America,Nick Fury, and Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow is still really great. The chemistry between him and Chris Evans is still marvelous. Fun fact actors like Tom Hanks, Mel Brooks, Michael Douglas, Harrison Ford, Robert De Niro, Kelsey Grammer, Alec Baldwin, Kurt Russell, J.K. Simmons, Patrick Stewart, Gary Oldman, and Christopher Lloyd were all considered to play Alexander Pierce.

Anthony Mackie plays Sam Wilson/the Falcon. In this movie I have to say he does an excellent job as the character. What makes Sam Wilson slash the falcon such an incredible character is that he really wants to help Steve Rogers / Captain America take down Hydra and Try to get Bucky Barns to remember who he is. Probably the best moment with Sam Wilson/ the Falcon is where he and Steve Rogers// Captain America first meet each other. Not only was it really entertaining but the film did a great job of making you care about the friendship between Sam Wilson/Captain America. I still like how the film is a really fantastic job. Fun fact actor Michael B Jordan was considered to play the Falcon. But instead he was cast as The main villain Killmonger in Black Panther.

Fun fact originally the supporting villain was not going to be Alexander Pierce it was instead going to be M.O.D.O.K voiced by Peter Dinklage. But the studio scrapped it and went with Alexander Pierce instead. I think it would have been cool to have Peter Dinklage voice M.O.D.O.K in film. But to be honest I'm happy with the M.O.D.O.K we got in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Voice by Corey Stoll in Ant-Man the Wasp Quantum Mania.

Toby Jones voices Arnim Zola in the film. I have to say I like him in the first film but I have to say he isn't even better than he was in that film. Now even know he is only in one scene. That monologue he gives to steve Rogers / Captain America and Black Widow is probably one of the best villain monologues in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Because during that whole model he revealed that Shield has been working for Hydra for many years and the twist revealed that Hydra was working with Shield is what the most shocking twist in the entire film. I also like how Adam Zoa looks really accurate turn the comics because in the source material Arnold had his mind transferred into a computer and that's why he wears a robotic suit in the comics. Fun fact Toby Jones was considered to come back as Arnold Zola in Ant-Man as a cameo villain In that film. But the studio scrapped the idea because The movie already had a lot of characters in it so they didn't want to have too many characters in the film. So that is why they scrapped the idea. Fun fact Toby Jones came back to voice Arnim Zola Marvel's what if...?. Fun fact Toby Jones was originally going to reprise his role as Arnim Zola in Ant-Man but that idea was scrapped in favor of using Darren Cross and the main villain to be honest it would be really cool to have him in that film because early concept art showed s more comic book accurate design of but again I think if they put it him in the movie the movie overcrowded.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier. What makes Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier such a terrific villain is that you understand why he is evil because Hydra brainwashed him and that is why he can't remember his best friend Steve Rogers / Captain America And the doubt and conflict with himself rather does he want to kill Captain America or does he want to be good and unfortunately that doesn't have it for most of the movie because he is Under Hydra control for a good majority of the film. Probably the Moment with Bucky Barnes / the Winter Soldier is when he and Steve Rogers/Captain America Are fighting on the highway and Steve Rogers / Captain America takes off Bucky Barnes´s mask and Steve Rogers/Captain America says Bucky?¨ Then Bucky Barnes / the winter soldier says who the hell is Bucky and not only was this really shocking. But it made sense because he doesn't remember who he is. I still think Bucky Barnes / the Winter Soldier is up there with Wanda Maximoff from Doctor Strange in the multiverse of Madness as one of the most tragic Marvel Cinematic Universe villains. The rivalry between him and Steve Rogers / Captain America was really emotional and very tragic. The chemistry between him and Chris Evans was astonishing.

The directing by Joe and Anthony Russo. What I like about their directing is that they really do a great job of developing the character of Steve Rogers / Captain America because in Captain America the first Avenger he had to learn how to be a hero and in the 2012 Avengers film he learn how to be a team in order to save the world from the Chatari. in this film he has to try his friend Bucky Barnes out of his trance in order for him to turn good at the end of the movie. I still think it is really tremendous how they did they did that.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy this movie I think this is probably my second favorite Captain America movie My favorite Captain America movie is Captain America Civil War because that movie had more characters and had a really great villain. But this movie also had the great villain with the Winter Soldier. I think more people should watch this movie especially if you  like a really great a dark movie film like Zodiac with Jake Gyllenhaal. I give this movie a 10/10.
