Here is My Movie Review of Black Panther

 

Here is my movie review of Black Panther. 

So basically what happens is that it tells the origin story of how T´Challa  how he became Black Panther. Then you have his cousin Erik Kilmonger Who wants to wage war On Wauconda because the previous black panther killed his father and he challenges to T´Challa to a duel  and Erik wins by throwing T'Challa Off the clef. So it is up to T'Challa to take down Eric Killmonger and reclaim the Wakandan throne. That is basically what the story is for this movie. 

The acting in this movie is still great. 

T'Challa/Black Panther Is a tremendous character because he go through a really big character arc because he doesn't believe that he has the right to rule Wakanda but he learns that he has to to take over the mantle of what his father did so he has to become the Black Panther and protect Wakanda From evil threats like Killmonger or Thanos and at first he loses to killmonger and that's why Killmonger becomes king of Wakanda but he rematches him for the throne and wins and I think his character is the best part of this entire film. Probably the best moment with T'Challa/Black Panther It's where he is battling killmonger near the waterfall and he is trying to win but unfortunately he is overpowered and he loses and not only they really brilliant accuracy with but it does build up Black Panther and a character and I think his is one of the more important moments of the entire film. But the thing that makes the character perfect and that he is playing by the late Chadwick Boseman and he does a brilliant job as the character you can tell that this guy put his heart and soul into giving one of the best and one of the most powerful MCU superhero performances.

Letitia Wright plays Shuri in the film. i have to say she still does a terrific job as the character. Now Shuri are they character is really incredible because she really cares for her brother T'Challa/Black Panther and want them to be king of Wakanda and want them to follow in his father's footsteps and becoming the new Black Panther. probably the best moment with Shuri and where she and the rest of the Wakandans team up to take down kill monger and not only were they really powerful and awesome action sequence but makes sense because she wants to help her brother take back the Throne from his evil cousin killmonger. it is probably the most entertaining moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chadwick Boseman is magnificent.

Andy Serisk plays Ulysses Klaw In the film. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as the character. Now the character of Ulysses Klaw It's really interesting because even though he's not in this movie a whole lot he is still very important because he is essentially there to help Killmonger get to Wakanda. But unfortunately killmonger betray them and kills him. Probably the best moment with Ulysses Klaw Is where it tells Everett Ross that he can give him the Sound Cloud too his music and not only was it really funny but it makes sense because Everett Ross didn't want his music. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chadwick Boseman Is brilliant.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Michael B Jordan as Erik Stevens/Killmonger. I have to say this performance is probably up there with Tony Leung ´ s Performance as Xu Wenwu from Shang Chi and one of the best MCU villain performances. Now Erik Stevens/Killmonger as character is really tragic and interesting because when he was a kid he had to watch his own father get killed by the previous Black Panther and ever since then he was an orphan he had the witness a lot of death around them and he was never brought back home to Wakanda so you get under there why that's really angered killmonger because he lost his dad and the the Wakandans didn't do anything to help him So when you see him raid war on them you don't agree what he's doing but you understand Why he would go down that dark path is very similar to Xu Wenwu from Shang Chi because when he lost his wife he went on a dark path and became then full and angered because he lost the one person he really cared about and munch like Killmonger he also had good intentions but he went about them the wrong way. Also Killmonger's motivations are really interesting because he wants to take revenge on Wakanda from not taking him home And ever since then he has witnessed a lot of death when he was a child and he wants to dethrone T'Challa/Black Panther and wants to become king of Wakanda and he actually succeeds for the majority of the film he win against Black Panther and he sees this the throne. Probably the best moment with Erik Stevens/Killmonger And where he revealed himself to Wakanda he says i found my daddy with Panther claws in his chest you're not the son of a king your are a son of a murder. Not only was it really shocking to the people of Wakanda but it makes sense because He remembers that the previous Black Panther killed his father in front of him and ever since he became an orphan a witness a lot of death around him and that angered him and wanting to take revenge on the previous Black Panthers son and become king of Wakanda. It is probably The best villain moment of the MCU.

The directing by Ryan Coogler is outstanding because what I love about his directing that he give the powerful and very emotional character Arc too T'Challa/Black Panther How how he doesn't feel like you can become king of Wakanda but then act of killmonger defeats him he decided to come back and have a rematch to reclaim the throne and become ruler of Wakanda and open up to the outside world. But I also like how he also developed killmonger because he could have made him a very weak and uninteresting villain but luckily he did not do that he gave a very powerful and emotional backstory a very powerful Motivation and may him one the most iconic and one of the sympathetic villains in the MCU and unlike Ultron he didn't make this villain funny he is very scary but all the very entertaining so I think it is perfect how he developed both of these characters just in different ways because he developed Black Panther at a good guy and developed killmonger as this evil and intelligence also kind of make you feel sorry for him because of what he had to go through and a child. So I think it is really tremendous how he did that.

 

So in conclusion i still really enjoy this film because of the powerful storyline of T'Challa/Black Panther how he wasn't sure that he was fit to become the roar of Wakanda bad the film got like he starts to learn from his dad that he is destined to be king of Wakanda and have to reclaim the throne and that is probably the strongest aspect of the character and oh the two black panther movies I like this one more because Chadwick Boseman´s powerful and emotional performance. This is still in my top five favorite movie of 2018. I also think that killmonger is up there with Thanos as one of my favorite MC villain of all time. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like the very first Iron Man movie with Robert Downey Jr. I give this movie a 40/10
