Here is My Movie Review of X2 X-Men United

Here is my movie review of X2 X-Men United. So basically what the plot is that it takes place after the first movie left off. you have Logan/Wolverine and he wants to find out more about his past. That's basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting is still awesome.

Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is really funny and really sympathetic. I like in this movie that you learn more about Logan's past.

Patrick Stewart as  Charles Xavier/ Professor X. I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is really smart and really wise. I like that he has more to do in this movie than he did in the first one.

James Marsden as Scott Summers /Cyclops even though he is not in the movie that much I still think he does a great job as this character. I still pick the Rivalry between him and Wolverine is still entertaining.

Famke Janssen as Jean Grey. I still think she does a good job as this character. I still think she is really smart and really sympathetic. I like how in this movie it sets up the dark Phoenix Saga.

Ian McKellen as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto. I still think he does a great job as this character. I like how in this movie he is not really a villain, he is more of an antihero. I still think that was really cool. I like how he has more to do in this movie  than he  did in the first one. I also like how he is a little funny but he is mostly serious for the majority of the movie. My favorite line of dialog it is when Magneto says to Rogue we like what you done with your hair.

Alan Cumming as Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler. I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is really smart and really sympathetic. I wish Alan Cumming came back as Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler for X3 X-Men The Last Stand.

Shawn Ashmore as Bobby Drake/Iceman. I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is really smart and really sympathetic. I like how he has a few funny jokes but he is mostly serious in the movie.

Aaron Stanfor as John Allerdyce/Pyro. I still think he does  a great job as this character. I still think he's really smart and really intimidating. My favorite monologue is  when Pyro says what's with the dorky helmet. Then  Magneto says that dorky helmet protects me from the real bad guys.

Rebecca Romijn as Raven Darkholme/Mystique. I still think she did a great job as its character. I still think she is really smart. I like how in this movie  that she has more to do in this one that she did in the first one.

Kelly Hu as Yuriko Oyama/Lady Deathstrike. I still think she does a great job as this character. I still think she is really menacing. I still think she is a great secondary villain.

Brain Cox absolutely kills it as Colonel William Stryker because he is really menacing and terrifying. I think this is what Lex Luthor should have been like in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, terrifying not cringe worthy. The Rivalry between him and Logan/Wolverine is still really great. I still think he has a great villain motivation basically what he wants to do is that he uses his son Jason Stryker to go into cerebro so he can go in the mind of Charles Xavier and kill all the mutants because he thinks that they're all awful because he thinks  they're all against God's creation. What makes William Stryker such a great villain if that you just want this bigoted jerk to die because of all the bad things he has done and he actually does die in this movie because Wolverine raps a chain around his neck and the flood kills him. If Brian Cox was younger and if he was cast in Batman versus Superman Dawn of Justice he would have nailed it as Lex Luthor because he can play terrifying like with William Stryker in this movie.

The chemistry between the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants is still really great.

The directing  by Bryan Singer. I still think he does a great job directing this movie. I like how he bounces the humor with the darker scenes really well.

So in conclusion if you like the X-Men movies. you'll like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
