Here is My Movie Review on the Fundamentals of Caring

Here is My Movie Review for  The Fundamentals of Caring

So basically what happens and they have this teenager named Trevor who has muscular dystrophy and he needs to be taken care of so his mother decides to give him a caretaker and he introduces himself as been and she told him to do everything on Trevor's last. Now at first Trevor doesn't like Ben and he just insults him and Not wanting to spend a time with him so he asked him where he wants to go and he says he wants to go to the world's deepest pet and he also wants to find his dad and they decide to go on a road trip to do all those things so it is up to Ben and Trevor to find his dad. That is basically the story for the film.

The acting In the movie  is still fantastic.

Craig Robert plays Trevor in the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Trevor such a remarkable character that you really feel bad for him because it dad left him at the age of three and he wants to finally meet his dad that he has not seen in a very long time. Probably the best moment with Trevor is when he and Ben are in the car and it looks like he's choking so Ben pulls over trying to resuscitate him but in reality Trevor was thinking it and Ben gets really mad at him and not only was it funny but it made sense because Ben thought he was choking but he was thinking it the whole time. It is probably the funniest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Selena Gomez and Paul Ryan is still amazing.

Selena Gomez plays Dot in the film. I have to say she still does an excellent job as the character. What makes Dot such an interesting character is at first she doesn't want to go with Ben and Trevor but eventually she decides to go along with them to find Trevor's dad. Probably the best moment with Dot Tell Trevor that she only dates assholes so he decides to be an asshole by insulting her and apparently he wins her over and not only was it really funny but it made sense because that's what she literally said to him. It is probably the funniest moment in the film. Also the bonding between dot in Trevor are probably some of the best moments in the film.

However the absolute standout of the entire film is Paul Rudd as Ben. What makes been such a terrific character is that you really feel bad for him because he is still moaning about the loss of his son and is going through divorce with his wife. But he also wants to help Trevor go on a journey to find his dad. Probably the best moment with Ben is where he Said that she forgot Trevor's medication in the other hotel and Trevor starts panicking but in reality he had his medication the whole time and not only was it funny but it was payback for what Trevor did front of him in the car by pretending to choke In front of him well he was driving the car. It is probably the funniest moment in the entire film. This is probably one my favorite Paul Rudd performance. The chemistry between him and Craig Robert is still marvelous.

The directing by Rob Burnett is really incredible because what I like about his directing is that he does and great job of making you feel sympathy for Trevor because His dad abandoned him at the age of 3 and he has never left his house to explore the world. I still think it is really remarkable how he did that.

So in conclusion I still think this is one of my favorite Netflix Original Films. I also like how this movie is not an A24 film. But in some ways it does feel like an A24 film because of the simple story and the really engaging characters. I still think this is probably the funniest movie of 2016. I still think this is in my top 5 favorite Netflix Original Films.I still think this is in my top 5 favorite Paul Rudd films. I still think if you enjoy The Peanut Butter Falcon then I'm sure you're going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
