Here is My Movie Review of X-Men Origins Wolverine

Here is my movie  review of X-Men Origins Wolverine

So basically what happens is that it tells the origin story of Logan/Wolverine and it tells the events that happened when he and Victor Creed / Sabretooth were in the Vietnam War Then he gets experimental by the weapon X program and against mutated and gets Animantam that Give him healing abilities and it's up to Wolverine and Sabretooth to take down Deadpool and William Stryker and that is basically what the story is for the film.

Now the acting in this movie is bad but there are some good performances in the film

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Hugh Jackman as Logan/ Wolvenrine. Even in parts of the film that are really bad Hugh Jackman is still entertaining in the film. Probably the best moment with Logan/ Wolverine and where he and Victor Creed / Sabretooth are fighting In this bar and not only it wasn't a really intense scene but it made sense because Logan / Wolverine wants revenge on Victor Creed / Sabertooth for the death of his girlfriend Silver Fox. It is probably the darkest moment in the film. The chemistry between him and Liev Schreiber, Lynn Collins, Danny Hunston, and Ryan Reynolds Is still great.

Liev Schreiber plays Victor Creed/Sabretooth In the film. I have to say he still does a decent job as the character. But the problem is it's not really Sabretooth feels like it is the same thing of what X-Men First Class did with Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw where the actor does a good job but the character is completely different character that doesn't feel like the character from the comics. Now I will say this unlike Sabertooth from X-Men this interpretation is somewhat accurate to the comics, but also Not accurate to the comics because the thing they get right is that his personality is just like how it is in the comics he's very ferocious and terrifying but the thing they get wrong however is his design Is completely wrong because in the comics he basically a terrifying animal because he has claws and he has fur but in this movie he's just a guy with claws and teeth that he has in the film look really bad especially his teeth it just looks like really bad CGI teeth. Probably the best moment with Victor Creed/Sabertooth Is where he and Logan/Wolverine are fighting Wade Wilson / Deadpool and not only was it a pretty great scene but it made sense because even though they hated each other they are force to team up to kill Deadpool.

Probably the worst performance in the entire film is Lynn Collins as Kayla/Silver Fox . The character of Kayla/Silver Fox Terrible because the film makes you think that saber tears killed her but then for some reason she is revealed to be alive and she was working with Colonel Williams striker which that was a stupid twist and she's just there to be wolverine´s love interest and to be honest the chemistry between her and Logan is not really good I don't think it even hold the candle to the relationship between him and Jean Gray from the first three X-Men movies. The chemistry between her and a huge Jackman is okay.

Danny Huston plays Colonel William Stryker In the film. I have to say he did not do a great job as this character. The character of Colonel Williams striker is pretty boring in this film he's just a lazy carbon copy of the one in X2 X-Men United and I think that one was the way better because he had an on-screen presence and he actually paused an actual threat to the characters while this one really doesn't He doesn't really do anything dark to make you hate him you just don't find him interesting and the character. The chemistry between him and Hugh Jackman is decent.

Ryan Reynolds plays Wade Wilson/Deadpool In the film. I have to say he perfectly cast as the character but the problem is he doesn't do any thing he says a few funny one liners but by the end they sound the character's mouth shut and it was just kind of a big middle finger because Deadpool is supposed to talk and I guess they were like you know how Deadpool talks what if we just made one that doesn't talk and now just completely stupid. But luckily Ryan Reynolds came back to play Deadpool in the Deadpool movies where he can make all the raunchy and inappropriate jokes and break the fourth wall like how he does in the comic so luckily later on after this movie they actually fixed him

The directing by Gavin Hood. Now I do have mixed feelings about Gavin Hood ´ s directing Because I do think he does a great job with the relationship between Wolverine and sabertooth how they are better rivals in they really hate each other and i think for the most part the film does it pretty well. But then he does some weird stuff like having Charles Xavier in the film for no reason and then he decides to like De age him which that was really dumb what he does to Deadpool by only not making him talk was also really terrible idea. But I think overall his directing could have been a lot better.

So in conclusion i do think this is a really bad X-Men film but I don't think it deserves all the hate that it has received because there are far worse comic book films like Suicide Squad from 2016 Daredevil from 2003 that film is way more unwatchable than this film and this film does have good things about the relationship between Wolverine and Sabertooth is the strongest part of the entire film. The action sequences are not great but I don't think they're as bad as the action sequences in Batman versus Superman Dawn of Justice. Also I do think Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber do save the film from being garbage I do think they slightly make it a bit better to watch because they do have great chemistry and some of their moments are some of the highlights on the film. But overall this is still a bad X-Men film. I give this movie a 4/10.
