Here is My Movie Review of Shrek the Third

Here is my movie  review of Shrek the Third.

So basically what happened is that it takes place right after Shrek 2 left off shrek and Fiona are now spending time in far far away but unfortunately Fiona's father King Harold family passes away And before he dies he tells Shrek that he has to take his place at king of far far away but he doesn't want to so He decides to find somebody else to be king of far far away then you have Prince Charming who wants revenge on Shrek for the death of his mother and it's up to Shrek to find the new king of far far away and take down Prince Charming and that's basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in In this movie is still great I still think everyone does a fantastic job with their performances.

Mike Myers voices Shrek In the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. Now Shrek as a character is very interesting because he actually goes through a really big character arc in the film because he's about to become a father he has to find the next king for far far away because the original king King Harold family passed away so he needs to find some way to take his place. Probably the best moment with Shrek is where he confesses to prince Arthur that he was actually supposed to be the king of far far away but he didn't want to do it and not only was it really powerful but it makes sense because he wanted somebody else to take the throne. It is probably the most powerful moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, Rupert  Everett is still remarkable

Eddie Murphy voices Donkey In the film. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as the character. Now the character of donkey is relatively the same as he was in the previous two films He is still really funny and very entertaining and in this film he wants to help Shrek find the next king of far far away. Probably the best moment with Donkey is where He and Puss Switched bodies and they were freaking out and not only was it really funny but it made sense because they didn't want to be in each other's body they wanted to switch back. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Mike Myers is terrific.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona. Now Princess Fiona as a character goes through a character arc because she has to cope with the lost of her father King Harold will also learning how to become a mother because she is about to have children. Probably the best moment with Princess Fiona is where she says goodbye to her father King Harold and not only was it really powerful but it made sense because she have to say goodbye to someone that see really care about because her father was dying and it's probably the most Strongest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Mike Myers is perfect.

Antonio Banderas comes back as Puss In Boots In the film. I have to say he still does a tremendous job as the character. Now the character of Puss In Boots Is really interesting because in Shrek 2 he was hired by King Harold too get rid of Shrek but he eventually liked him and he helped Shrek take down The Fairy Godmother and save far far away and in this film he is essentially trying to help Shrek find the new king of Far Far Away. Probably the best moment with Puss In Boots Is where he and Donkey were Proven that Shrek is very tough by hurting him and not only was it really funny. But it made sense because they needed to find a way to go to the mascot contest and it is probably the most entertaining part of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Mike Myers is astonishing.

Justin Timberlake voices Prince Arthur In the film. I have to say he still does a remarkable job as the character. Now Prince Arthur and the character is really interesting because of you kind of feel bad for him because he gets mistreated by the other students at his school he doesn't feel like that he can become king of far far away. He doesn't want to take responsibility as a king and he actually go through a very interesting character where at first he and Shrek don't get along they argue a lot but by the end of the film they do get along. Probably the best moment with prince Arthur and where Shrek says where are you going?¨ Then Prince Arthur says far far away from you.¨ and not only was it really funny but it made sense because he was sick of Shrek tell him what to do. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Mike Myers is brilliant.

John Cleese Comes back as King Harold In the film. Not even know he's not in the film that much. I still think he does an excellent job as the character. Now King Herald in the film is dying so he wants Shrek to become king of far far away but he doesn't feel like he wants to and the scene where he says his final goodbyes to his daughter Fiona not only is it really sad and really touching but it makes sense because he is about to die. It is one of the most emotional and the most powerful moment of the entire film.

Rupert Everett Comes back as Prince Charming In the film. Now out of all the performances I do think he is the weakest performance but that being said he is still relatively entertaining as the character. Now Prince Charming is a weak villain now he's not as bad as Gladys from over the Hedge because she is way more annoying then he is but I do think that he was a lot better in Shrek 2. No Prince Charming's motivation is really dumb because he wants revenge on Shrek 4 killing his mother but he didn't really kill her she'll about to turn him into a frog and King Harold blocked the magic in it bounced off his armor And hit her and that caused The Fairy Godmother to die. But that being said his motivation is not as terrible as Gladys's motivation from Over The Hedge Because at least has motivation was canon to Shrek 2 because this movie takes place right after the second movie left off.  Probably the best moment with Prince Charming and where he is doing this play but everybody hates it and he gets like garbage on stage and not only was it really funny but it made sense because nobody likes his performance. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film.

The Directing by Chris Miller Is really interesting because what I like about his directing is that he further develops Shrek as a character because in this film he is about to become a dad and he wants to find the next king of far far away because unfortunately die and he doesn't want to do it because he thinks it is strange for an elder to be king of far far away. I think it is really awesome of he did that

So in conclusion i don't think this movie and that's bad because well it is the weakest Shrek film. But It does have a lot of interesting things about like Shrek's character is the strongest aspect of this entire film him find out that he has to be a father he has to try to find the new king of far far away. There are a lot of entertainment and the law really powerful and emotional moments that's well like princess Fiona has to say goodbye to her dad and then probably the sass moment on the film but probably the most powerful moment as well because she had to say goodbye to someone she loves. My only problem with the film is Prince Charming he has some good moments. But his motivation is still stupid it just doesn't make any sense because Shrek demon killed the freak on mother it was actually King Harold who protected Shrek from being turned into a frog. But aside from that this movie is still really entertaining I give this movie a 6/10.
