 Here is my Movie  Review of knives out

So basically what the plot you have  this family and they have a family get-together and one of the family members mysteriously has command suicide but the family thinks there was someone responsible for for one of the family members death and so it is up to the family to find out who committed the murder and that is  what the plot to  this movie.  What I like about the story in this movie is that it really reminded me of the Family Guy episode and then they were fewer because in that episode the characters invited to a gathering and then some of the characters get murdered and the other characters have to figure out who what's responsible for the murder of James Woods. I still think it's really cool how they paid homage to that episode.

Now the performance is in this movie are really interesting because this does have an All-Star cast that has some of the biggest names in Hollywood and all of them do a glorious job in this film as these characters.  

However the stand out of this entire movie is Daniel Craig as the character of Detective Benoit Blanc. This is probably one of the best leading performances of 2019. I could tell Daniel Craig was having a blast playing the character Detective Benoit Blanc. What I like about Detective Benoit Blanc as a character Is that he really has a really great motivation because all he wants to do is to find out who killed Fran. Now detective Benoit Blanc had a lot of Incredible moments my favorite moment with Detective Benoit Blanc Had a lot of incredible and terrific moments throughout the film whether it is him meeting Marta for the first time or him questioning each of the family members of who could have murdered Harlan Thormbey It does lead to some really incredible and nail biting moments throughout the film. The chemistry between him and Ana De Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, LaKeith Stanfield, Christopher Plummer, Jaeden Martell, and Chris Evans is really entertaining.

Ana De Armas plays Marta In the film. I still think you know this spectacular job as this character. Now Marta as a character Is probably my second favorite character in this film because she has shown that she really wants to help Detective Benoit Blanc figure out who caused the death of Harlan Thormbey The scenes with Marta Are tremendous whether it is her Telling the inspector that her brother Jacob is a jerk or her and Ransom Drysdale at the restaurant trying to figure Who gets the inheritance from Harlan Thormbey and does led to some really fun and some really suspenseful moments in the film. The bonding between her and Detective Benoit Blance Is the strongest aspect of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Daniel Craig is perfect.

Jamie Lee Curtis plays Linda Dysdale In the film. I have to say she still does a remarkable job as the character. Now the character of Linda Dysdale Is incredible because much like Detective Benoit Blanc she also wants to figure out who killed Harlan Thormbey. The scene where Linda Dysdale is where she tells the Inspectors about what happened the night before father's death It is probably one of the most disturbing moments in the film because she Knows that her father died and some really horrific way and she wants to figure out who has caused the murder. It is probably the most nail biting moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Daniel Craig is still really excellent.

Don Johnson plays Richard Drysdale In the film. I still think he does a glorious job as the character. Now the character of Richard Drysdale is really interesting because he is shown to be very Intelligent but also The alpha of the family because he is protective over them and want to figure out who would the one responsible for the death of Harlan Thormbey. The scene where Richard Drysdale mentions Detective Benoit Blanc that Marta is kind of like a member of the family and it is a really powerful and emotional thing because they really care for her. It is for the strongest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Daniel Craig is marvelous.

Michael Shannon plays Walt Thormbey in the film. Now out of the performances In the film he has probably my favorite performance in the entire film. Now the character of Walt Thormbey is shown to be very smart and Is shown to really care for his family and wants to help them figure out who caused the death of Harlan Thormbey. The scene were Walt Is where he tells Richard Drysdale he is out of the will and not only was it really intense but it made sense because you can see how angry he was because he's not going to get any money from Harlan Thormbey. It is probably a chilling moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Daniel Craig is wonderful.

LaKeith Stanfield plays Lieutenant Elliott In the film. I still think he does a tremendous job at the character. Now the Canada of Lieutenant Elliott Is shown to be very intelligent and he is determined to figure out who killed Harlan Thormbey. The scenes of Lieutenant Elliott Are tremendous weather it is him recapping the events of the party or him meaning Detective Benoit Blanc for the first time It does led to some really incredible and interested moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Daniel Craig is astounding.

Christopher Plummer plays Harlan Thormbey in the film. Now for this being Christopher Palmer's last performance and his last movie he really nailed it as the character of Harlan Thormbey because what makes Harlan Thormbey such a terrific character is that you understand why he took his own life by sweating his own throat because he was unhappy. The scene were Harlan Thormbey he and Marta Are discussing about he has to take his medication not only with it really Disturbing but it makes sense because If he didn't take his medication he would die. It is probably the darkest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Daniel Craig is really amazing.

Jaeden Martell plays Jacob Thrombey In the film. I have to say he still does an extraordinary job as this character. Now the character of Jacob Thrombey Is really interesting because he is shown to be Political and very racist and selfish but he also wants to figure out who was responsible for the death of Harlan Thormbey. The scene were Jacob Thrombey were mentions to the other family that he heard Richard Drysdale and Harlan Thormbey That they were arguing over who gets the money from him and not only was it really intense but it makes sense because Because they were trying to design what's family member gets the money. It is probably the most powerful and nail-buying moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Daniel Craig is excellent.

Chris Evans plays Ransom Drysdale In the film. I still think he does a tremendous job as the character. Now the character Ransom Drysdale is a dick because the right from the start He likes to Trade his family like garbage Which employee that he never really cared about his family to begin with and that is what makes Ransom Drysdale very entertaining To watch. Also there's a very different Chris Evans performance because we are so used to seeing him playing a heroic character like Captain America and then you watch him play a straight up self-centered and selfish piece of shit. Also Ransom Drysdale As probably the funniest character because all of the humor of the film comes from him. The scenes with Ransom Drysdale Are tremendous whether it is the scene of him roasting his family explaining why they are terrible or the scene where he get Arrested and he smiles because in his mind he succeeded in ripping the family apart and it hoes led to some really funny and really creepy moments throughout the film. Also Ransom Drysdale is up there with Mysterio From Spider-Man far from home as one of the best of 2019. The chemistry between him and Danielle Craig is perfect.

The directing by Rian Johnson Is really interesting because this is the same director who directed the film Brick from 2005 and he did a tremendous job directing that film. But he also directed Star Wars the Last Jedi and I did not think he did a good job directing that film at all because I feel like he made that film just a big mess and kind of ruined the character of Luke Skywalker. Now with this film I have to say he still does a magnificent job directing this film because why I love about his directing is that he does a magnificent job of giving all these characters that unique and Incredible personality like Detective Benoit Blanc Who is this detective who doesn't take any nonsense from any one and he has shown to be super intelligent and wants to figure out who has committed the murder. Also Marta Has a really fun and incredible personality how she really cares about our family so she's like the matriarchy of the family who wants to keep the whole family together. I also like how he Keeps the identity of the killer a secret so the audience can figure out who has committed the murder. So overall I think he did a terrific job of directing the film.

So in conclusion i still really love this film because the storyline is incredible having it be this family who enlist the help of Detective Benoit Blanc to figure out who has committed the murder of one of the family members and figure out who has done it. Which is a brilliant and amazing storyline and I think the storyline is up there with the storyline in Joker as one of the best story lines of 2019. But easily the best thing in this movie is the cast because all of the performances are exhilarating especially from Daniel Craig who stole the entire show as Detective Benoit Blanc. Also Anna De Arms was really remarkable at the character of Marta who gives one of the most powerful in one month emotional performances of the entire film. Also the cinematography is amazing because it gives this really dark and creepy and Noir sort of vibe to it because this is a murder mystery film. Also the humor was really funny whether it was Ransom Drysdale making fun of his family by treating them like garbage or Marta telling her dad Harlan Thormbey that he doesn't take losing really well. This is probably the funniest movie of 2019 because of how funny it is because of how subtle the humor is in this film. This is definitely in my top 5 favorite films of 2019. I still think this film is up there with The Lighthouse with Willem Dafoe as one of my favorite films of 2019. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like murder mystery films like the movie Brick with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this film a 10/10.
