Here is My Movie Review of Bubble Boy

 Here is my movie review of Bubble Boy 

So basically what the polot is you have this guy named Jimmy Livingston who is born without any immune system. then one day he has this crush on this girl named Chloe. But when he finds out she's getting married to Mark.  Jimmy decides to go to Niagara Falls  to stop  Chloe  from getting married to Mark and along the way he meets a lot of  new friends. So that is basically  what the story is to this movie.   

 

Now yes the acting in this movie is very over the top and that is what makes it so funny all these actors are very over the top but they give really entertaining and fun performances in the film.

However the big stand out of the entire film is Jake Gyllenhaal as Jimmy Livingston. What makes Jimmy Livingston such a great character is that he has feelings towards Chloe and he wants to be with her. Probably the best moment with Jimmy Livingston Is where he fist meets Chloe and they start to pf love and not only was it really emotional. But it makes sense because he really loved her. It is probably the most beautiful moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Swoosie Kurtz, Marley Shelton, and Verne Troyer Is still fantastic.

Swoosie Kurtz plays Ms. Livingston In the film. I have to say she still does a terrific job as the character. Now the character of Mrs William's team is probably the most over-the-top character in the movie and that's what makes herself funny she is like so overprotective of her son Jimmy Livingston and doesn't want him to get a germs on him. Probably the best moment With Mrs Livingston it where whatever she puts Jimmy to bed she makes up these weird fairy tales about princess who got out of her bubble and died and not only is it really but it makes sense because he's trying to relate the fairy tales to her own son. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Jake Gyllenhaal is excellent.

Marley Shelton plays Chloe In the film. I have to say she still does an excellent job as the character. What makes Chloe an interesting character is that you can see that she really loves Jimmy Livingston very much and wants to be with him. Probably the best scene with Chloe is where she gets married to Jimmy Livingston Not only is it really emotional but it makes sense because she really loves him it is probably the most powerful moment in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Jake Gyllenhaal is still remarkable

Danny Trejo plays Slim In the film. I have to say he still does a spectacular job as the character. What makes Slim such a marvelous character is that he wants to help Jimmy Livingston to get to Niagara Falls. Probably the best moment with Slim Is Where he tells the cult That they left Jimmy Livingston in the desert to die and they destroy his bike and not only was it really funny but it made sense because He didn't like seeing his bike get destroyed It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jake Gyllenhaal is still really exquisite.

Verne Troyer plays Dr. Phreak In the film. I have to say he still does An outstanding job as the character. Now The character of Dr. Phreak Is very raunchy and that's what makes him Himself playing that anything he says is kind of like what Carmen says from South Park because both of them don't have a good filter. Probably the best moment with Dr. Phreak is where Jimmy Livingston's mother Ms. Livingston offers him a candy bar and he refuses and not only was it really funny but it made sense because he didn't want any candy. Is there probably the funniest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jake Gyllenhaal is still spectacular.

Dave Sheridan plays Mark In the film. I have to say he still does a great job as the character. Now the character of Mark is very similar to Gaston from Beauty and the Beast Because both of them want the person that they're in love with. probably the best moment with Mark I'd wear he explains to Jimmy that he and Chloe will be together not only was it really emotional but it means sense because he really wants to be with her and it is for the most incredible moment of the film. the chemistry between him and Jake Gyllenhaal is still excellent.

    The directeding  by Blair Hayes is really interesting because what I like about his directing is that it basically makes this movie like South Park because both of them i'm not really politically correct because they make a lot of offensive and very raunchy jokes. I also like how he matched the town of South Park because South Park is very over the top and not meant to be taken seriously and that is what exactly the film is because you're not supposed to take it seriously I still think it did really incredible of how he did that.

    So in conclusion I still really like the film. It's not really politically correct but that's what makes it so funny because you're not supposed to take this movie really seriously at all. I think this is up there with Renfield with Nicolas Cage as the most over-the-top movie I have seen. I still think this is one of Jake Gyllenhaal ´ s most underrated films. I still think more people should watch it especially if you like south Park Bigger Longer and Uncut with Matt Stone and Trey Parker. I give this movie a 10/10.
