Here is My Movie Review of Finch

Here is My Movie Review of Finch

Now when it comes to this film i heard a lot of people say that this film is really good and one of the most emotional films of 2021. Now they are completely right because this film is one of the most beautiful films of 2021 because the tackles themes of getting old trying to cope with the loss of someone you care about. I think the movie tackles those themes perfectly and to be honest This film gave me similar vibes to the farewell with Awkwafina because both movies have to deal with a character Going through some tragic event because Billi had to deal with her grandmother having cancer well in this film Finch has to deal with his wife's actual death and he has to move past it. I think both films tackle their subjects perfectly. I think the film Swan Song Add one of my favorite films of 2021.

Now the storyline in this film is super simple and really emotional because it focuses on this guy named Finch Weinberg and he is getting old and he is depressed because his wife passed away and he's trying to move past that so he decides to build this robot named Jeff to have him take care of his dog when he eventually path of the way And he decides to take his dog and Jeff On a road trip So you can see the world one last time And try to move past with the death of his wife. That is basically what happens and it kind of reminds me of the fundamentals of caring because both characters Go on road trip to see the world Because Ben took Trevor on a road trip too see his Dad who left him when he was three. Well in this movie Finch goes on a road trip One last time Because he is getting old and he will eventually past away himself. I think both films execute This storyline really well because it makes you feel bad for both characters. I think the storyline is up there with the storyline and Don't Look up as one of the best story lines of 2021.

Now the acting Is remarkable because even though this only has two actors both of them give magnificent and really emotional performances Because when the characters have to be sad or upset actors do a stellar job Playing these characters. I did the acting in this film is up there with the acting in Cherry as one of the most emotional and one of the most powerful acted films of 2021.

However the absolute standout of the entire film is Tom Hanks as Finch Weinberg because he gives a really powerful and really emotional performance and this character it look Tom Hanks has delivered some tremendous performances in films like The Toy Story films. Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, The Terminal, Big, Elvis, Even his small role in asteroid City. But I have to say this is probably his best performance he has done in his career because Tom Hanks is a magnificent actor. Now the character of Finch Weinberg is character that a lot of people can relate to because if anyone had lost someone they care about they emphasize with Finch because he is someone who is suffering through loneliness and depression ever since the day his wife died and he wants to go on this road trip To survive In the Wasteland with this robot who he names Jeff So he can take care of his dog when he passes away. The scenes with Finch Weinberg Are probably some of the most emotional moments in the film especially when he is interacting with his dog And taking care of it or the theme where he has an argument with Jeff because he is trying to ask Finch about his wife but Finch doesn't want to talk about it because there's two painful and it does lead to some really sad and some really beautiful moments in the film especially when he says it's file goodbyes to Jeff That seen alone is probably the most emotional moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Cable Landry Jones  Is still awesome.

Cable Landry Jones Voices Jeff And he also gives a really exhilarating and emotional performance and you can tell that he is having a lot of fun at this character and he does provide some humor for the film as this character. Also when Jeff has to be happy or really sad when he is bonding with Finch. Cable Landry Jones the glorious job. Now the character of Jeff is really interesting because this is a character that really feels bad for Finch Because he realizes that he is getting old and is about to pathway and he wanted to make him happy and protect him and take care of his dog. Also the bonding between him and Finch is actually the strongest thing in the film because I enjoyed friendship throughout the entire film. The scenes with Jeff are magnificent especially his introduction where he Explains that robots can protect humans and form a strong bond. Or the scene where Jeff is i'm trying to walk for the first time and he falls over or him driving the trailer it does lead to some really hilarious and some really entertaining and fun moments throughout the film. But It is really the emotional scenes with Jeff that are the best parts of the film. Also the chemistry between him and Tom Hanks is magnificent.

The directing by Miguel Sapochnik Is awesome because It does a glorious job of developing the character of Finch Weinberg because this is a character that is going through a lot he's getting really old and he is still coping with the loss of his wife as well as trying to take care of his dog and he wants to have Jeff take care of the dog once he passes away. Also he gives the character so many powerful and emotional moments in the film. But also I'm making the character of Finch relatable because this is a character that anyone who had lost someone they care about can really relate to and empathize with. I also like how he tackle the subject of trying to move on Because it is really hard to move on when you lose someone you really care about I think he does a glorious job and taking the subject really seriously. So that is really incredible of how he did that. So overall I think he did a wonderful job directing the film.

So in conclusion this is still a really powerful and emotional film because this has so much heart and emotion. I also love the storyline because it revolved around Finch Weinberg who is getting old and he is trying to cope with the lost of his wife he build a robot named Jeff to help him go on this journey and take care of his dog when he eventually passes away. To be honest this is a storyline that anyone can relate to especially if you lost someone you care about and you're trying to move on. I also like the performances especially from Tom Hanks who probably gives his best and most beautiful performance as the character of Finch Weinberg also you can tell that he is having a lot of fun as this character and when the character has to be sad or upset Tom Hanks does the glorious job of giving his character so much heart and emotion. Also the character of Finch Weinberg if someone anyone can relate to because he is going through a lot he's getting old and his trying to cope with the Lost of his wife as well as trying to survive and have this robot Jeff take care of him and his dog. Also Cable Landry Jones give the really fun and entertaining and emotional performance as the character of Jeff. Also the character of Jeff is incredible because not only is he really funny but he also really wants to make Finch happy as well as taking care of his dog. The the bond in between him and Finch is the strongest aspect of the film. The chemistry between him and Tom Hanks is really incredible and you can tell that both the actor they're having a lot of fun. This film is up there with Swan Song with Mahershala Ali. as one of my favorite Apple TV plus films. Not to mention this film is up there with Sharper with Justin Smith as one of the best films of the 2020s. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you enjoy the film Raymond and Ray with Ethan Hawk then I'm sure you're going to like this film as well. I give this film a 10/10.
