Here is my Movie Review of Killers of the Flower Moon

Now this is going to be a very different review because this one is going to be a lot more serious and this is also going to be like a history lesson of real life events. 

So basically what happens is that it told the real life tragic events of the Osage Native American tribe of how William Hale torture them by burning their villages and trying to steal oil from them to become rich and how he also poisoned most of them which killed them but it also shows that William Hale's nephew Ernest Burkheart Who returned from War and fell in love with Members of the The Osage tribe named Mollie Kyle he would eventually married and  renamed Mollie Barkheart . But he would eventually help his uncle poison her tribe and kill them to steal their resources and become rich. Then later FBI agent Tom White Would eventually put William Hale and Ernest Burkheart  on trial for the crimes they had committed and they were eventually arrested. Soon after that William Hale would have eventually died in a nursing home while Ernest stayed in prison and would eventually die. That is basically what the story is for this film. I have to say the storyline in this movie is perfect because this all happened in real life with William Hale torturing The Osage Tribe by poisoning them and stealing their resources and eventually killing them. Also his nephew Ernest Barkhart fall in love with Mollie and marrying her but eventually he goes along with his uncle's evil plan and together they torture her tribe and stole their resources from them. 

The acting in this movie is magnificent. In fact this is the best acting in this entire 2023 because all of these actors portray all these real life historical figures perfectly. 

Leonardo DiCaprio probably gave one of his best performances as William Hale's nephew Ernest Burkheart. Now Ernest Barkheart In the film is completely accurate to his real life counterpart because in real life Ernest Barkheart Fell in love with  Mollie Kyle and Mary her and she became his wife Mollie Burkheart In reality he was torturing her tribe with his uncle by secretly Poison her which will eventually kill her and a tribe so he and his uncle William Hale would eventually become rich and steal all the resources. The scene where Ernest Burkheart  Is talking to his uncle William Hale about how they can make money Is probably the hardest thing to watch because even though it's the normal conversation it's kind of messed up because essentially william Hale  telling his nephew that to In order become rich if we kill all the Osage Tribe members and steal their resources and become rich and you have to marry this one person And then you kill her so we can kill her people and steal their resources and become rich. What makes the scene so scary is that this literally happened in real life because William Hale's nephew Ernest Burkheart Fell in love with Moille Kyle and married her and renamed her Moille  Burkhart  And eventually poisoned her and killed her and her tribe to become rich. It is probably one of the hardest scenes to watch of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone Is tremendous Because they work perfectly together in the film and you can tell all of them are putting all of their effort into these performances. 

Now let's talk about Robert De Niro because this guy is a tremendous actor. He played a lot of evil villains in gangster movies such as Goodfellas and Casino.  But in this film he  gives one of the scariest performances he's given as William Hale because he is essentially playing one of the most vile and one of the most disgusting people in history and he just does a magnificent job of playing this despicable and one of the most disgusting humans in the world. Now William Hale in this film is exactly how he was in real life because he was racist towards Osage Native American tribe how he burned their villages to the ground how he told his nephew to mary Moille Kyle and poison her and kill her so they can still hurts resources he is a oil tycoon he wanted to become rich by stealing all of their resources and he does not give a fuck about the Osage tribe because he just cared about getting rich and killing as many Osage Native Americans as possible and stealing their resources. The scene where William Hale tells his nephew Ernest to kill Mollie's mother Is really dark and blake because again this really did happen In real life because William Hale told his nephew Ernest to kill Mollie's mother so they can steal the  Osage Native American Tribe´s resources and become really rich. It is probably one of the most difficult scenes to watch. The chemistry between him and Leonardo DiCaprio is  tremendous. 

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Lily Gladstone as Mollie Kyle because she just does such a magnificent and wonderful job of giving one of the most powerful emotional performances 20023. Now  Mollie Kyle In this film is exactly how she was like and real life because she was a member of the Osage American tribe and you feel bad for her because her husband Ernest is killing her tribe by poisoning them and burning their villagers to the ground so stealing their resources so he and his uncle William Hale can become rich.  The scene where Mollie Kyle where she see her sister in the coffin is probably the saddest moment of the entire film because in real life Ernest and William Hale poisoned her giving her diabetes which eventually caught up to her and she died from that illness. It is probably the most depressing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Leonardo DiCaprio is astonishing.

Jesse Plemons plays Tom White in the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job. Now much like what I said about the other characters in this movie, Tom White is exactly how he is in real life: he was a FBI agent who was investigating the Osage murders and trying to figure out who was the one that was responsible for the tribe's death. The scene where he interrogates Ernest What makes the scene so nail biting and suspenseful is that much like a lot of this movie that's also happened in real life because Tom white suspects that Ernest and William Hale were responsible for the deaths of the Osage tribe. It is the most intense and disturbing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Leonardo DiCaprio is perfect. 

However, as brilliant as the acting is, the best thing about this movie is the directing by Martin Scorsese because he has directed a lot of awesome and magnificent masterpieces such as Goodfellas, Shutter Island and Hugo. But this is probably his best masterpiece he has ever made because what I absolutely love about his directing is that he is able to sell the dark and one of the most messed up moments  in history of William Hale and his nephew Ernest tortured Osage Native American tribe by his nephew ernest to marry Mollie Kyle and then kill her so they can steal their resources. Also he got everything about William Hale perfectly because with really scary is that in real life he was this racist in horrible person who was this evil oil tycoon who wanted to steal resources from the  Osage Nation to become rich and he enlisted his Nephew to help him accomplish their mission. I think it is magnificent and outstanding of how he talks about this dark historical event in history and managed to adapt it into a perfect feature length film. I think it is really excellent of how he did that, probably Martin Scorsetti´s best film he had ever directed. 

So in conclusion this is one of the best films of 2023. I will say this has one of the best storylines I have ever seen. Just the idea of diving into the Osage Native American tribe and how they suffered horrendously by William Hale and his nephew Earnest is some of the hardest stuff you'll ever see in film history. But buy doubt the best performance in this entire film is Lily Gladstone as Mollie Kyle Because she just get one of powerful and one of the most beautiful performs of the entire film because he's essentially playing a character that was tortured in Real life because Molly Kyle was abused she had to watch her tribe die in front of her her husband Ernest poisoned her and killed her Osage tribes resources got taken away from her by William Hale and in the nephew Ernest. Not to mention she and Leonardo DiCaprio play off each other magnificently Because they play the role of a very dark magical so well and it is so accurate to what she had to go through in real life with Ernest during those times. But my favorite performance is Robert De Niro as William Hale he does such a magnificent job playing this vial and disgusting person Because I can tell he did a lot of research of his character and to be honest his performance is so scary i'm actually surprised that he didn't win Oscar for best supporting  actor that's how terrifying his performance was in this film. This is my number one favorite film of 2023. I highly recommend you watch this film because you would enjoy the performances of Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro by will say this, this is one of the hardest films to watch of 2023 because of the stuff that happens throughout so I suggest you watch the film but I must warn you the stuff you'll see might Well come off very disturbing and really terrifying. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like Oppenheimer which stars Cillian Murphy. I give this movie an 100/10.
