Here is My Villain Review of De Guiche

Now I'm going to discuss the character of De Guiche who is the main villain in 2021´s Cyrano and I'm going to explain why he is very Incredible and entertaining and one of the best villains of 2021.

Character- Now De Guiche Is probably Cold-hearted and one of the most disgusting characters of the entire film and he is  a religious fanatic because he believes in God and wants everything to go in the way and he basically wants to have Cyrano De Bergerac Go to the war and die so he can marry Roxanne and have her all to himself and he's basically somewhere to Judge Claude Fralo from the hunchback in Notre Dame because both characters have lust full feelings of the woman that the main character is in love with And they are both Religious because they both believe in God and They make a lot of religious statements as characters.  I think the film does a tremendous job of showing how dark and despicable  De Guiche Is as a villain because he'll do anything in his power to have Roxanne all to himself. 

Motivation-  Now De Guiche´s Motivation is that he wants to marry Roxanne because he is in love with her but he gets mad that Cyrano De Bergerac Is in love with her so in order to get way once he forces him to go to war and never return and to get killed in the war so he can have Roxanne all to himself. It is very similar to Judge Claude Fralo  because both of them want to have The main character's love interest all to themselves and both of them would do everything in their power to accomplish their mission. I think the film did a spectacular job of giving De Guiche a really dark and incredible motivation. 

Best Scenes-  Now De Guiche I had a lot of Suspenseful and Entertain moments in the film but if I had to pick my favorite moment it'll be the scene where De Guiche Is walking towards the castle and he is singing ¨What I deserve and not only is it a really dark and incredible scene but it makes sense because it showed that he has lustful feelings towards  Roxanne and wants her all to himself and it's very similar to Hellfire where  sings Judge Claude Fralo that song where it showed that he has lustful feelings towards Esmeralda and wants her To himself. Is it for the most entertaining and tremendous moments of the entire film and it's all thanks to Ben Mendelsohn's powerful and intimidating performance. 

Evil Deeds- Now De Guiche Does a lot of evil and cruel things like he follow the Roxanne around trying to get her to fall in love with him he wants Cyrano De Bergerac  Go to war so he can die so he can have Roxanne all to himself and being married with her and Sends his guards to try to kill Cyrano De Bergerac. I think the film does a terrific job of showing how cruel and evil De Guiche is as a villain.

Conclusion- De Guiche is a really excellent villain because his motivation makes sense as he wants to send Cyrano De Bergerac To the war so he can die so he can be married to Roxanne and have her all to himself. The scene where he sings his song What I Deserve is a really powerful scene because shows how far he'll go to have Roxanne all to himself and it's probably one of the best villain songs and one of the best songs of the film and it's all thanks to Ben Mendelsohn´s powerful and intimidating performance. The film does a Fantastic job of making you hate him because right from the start he immediately wants Cyrano De Bergerac To go to war so he can die so he can be married to Roxanne and have her all to himself. I think De Guiche Is up there with Xu Wenwu from Shang Chi As one of the best villains of 2021. I think De Guiche Is up there with Cassandra Nova From Deadpool and Wolverine, one of the best villains of the 2020s. I'm going to give De Guiche a 10/10.
