Here is My Villain Review of Doug

Now I'm going to discuss the character of Doug who is the main villain in 2023's Strays and explain why he is so entertaining and one of the most underrated villains of 2023 as well the funniest villain of 2023. 

Character- Doug is shown Selfish he just cares about doing drugs and yelling at the dog but that actually a reason why he takes an anger out on the dog because when Doug with a kid he was constantly picked on so when he makes fun of the dogs he is actually taking his anger out on them because of the way other kids treat him when he went to school people picked on him. So you sort of feel bad for Doug because of The film does a terrific terrific job of making Doug hateful but also sort of sympathetic at the same time because you can understand why he's been so unhappy in his life because he was picked on when he healed the little kid.

Motivation- Now Doug's motivation is really simple he just wants to get rid of his dog Reggie who he doesn't even like not even waiting for his death the dog at the animal shelter And he decides to get rid of the dog by playing this game he came up with called fetch and fuck but it doesn't really work because Reggie gets the ball back and Doug gets really mad because of that. I think the film does a terrific job of giving Doug a really silly motivation  because he just wants Peace and quiet. He doesn't want Reggie to come back. 

Best Scenes- Now Doug isn't in the movie a whole lot but before what you see of him in the film he had a lot of really funny and outrageous moments. If I had to pick my favorite moment it'll be the scene where Reggie comes into the bathroom with the tennis ball and Doug Call Hunter cone boy takes the cone off and then Doug says oh shit and not only it is really funny but makes sense because he knows that the dogs are going to beat him up and all thanks to Will Forte´s over the top and entertaining performance. 

Evil Deeds- Now Doug does a lot of bad stuff in this movie like he cheated on his girlfriend with another woman. He abandons Reggie. He doesn't take care of him. He tries to kill him because he couldn't stand them anymore and I think the film did a terrific job of showing how cruel and disgusting Doug is as a pet owner. 

Conclusion- Doug is really funny and well his motivation is a bit silly I think it works for the film because if you really think about he's basically a live action interpretation of Randy from South Park because they like to play with their favorite toys they like to watch dirty stuff they want to do drugs and yells a lot so they have a lot of common with each other. The scene where Doug Sears Hunter taking his cone off and he says oh shit it is probably the funniest moment of the entire film and it is all thanks to Will Forte's over the top and entertaining performance. I think Doug is up there with Dracula from Renfield as one of the funniest villains of 2023. I'm going to give Doug a 10/10.
