Here is My Movie Review of Abigail

Here is My Movie Review of Abigail

So baby what happened today you have this group of Roberts who kidnapped this little girl and hold her for ransom but what they don't know is that Abigail is actually a little vampire and when they find out it is a vowel for survival and they try to escape from Abigail and it's up to Joey and the rest of them too To get out of the house before Abigail killed them and that's basically what the story is for this film. Now the storyline this movie reminds me of another horror movie and that is shockingly from Renfield because both movies have to do with vampires and the film does a terrific job of telling the story.

Now the acting in this movie is still awesome because I still think everyone does a fantastic job with their performance as you can tell that all of them are having fun as their characters.

Melissa Barrera plays Joey in this film. I have to say she still does a spectacular job as the character. Now Joey as a character is the only one in the group that really cares for Abigail before she Is revealed to be a little vampire and the bonding between the two characteristics is probably the strongest aspect of this entire film. Probably the best moment when Joey is where she first meets Abigail and talks to her and promises no one will try to hurt her and it is probably the most beautiful and heartwarming moment of the entire film. The chemistry between Her and Kathryn Newton, Dan Stevens, Giancarlo Esposito, Alisha Weir, and Matthew Goode Is still excellent.

However the absolute big stand out of the entire film is Alisha Weir as Abigail Because she does such a terrific job of playing both sides of the character: her sweet and down earth little girl personality and her dark and disturbing vampire side of the character as well. Now Abigail had a character is really interested because she starts out instantly enough but then when she reveals that she is a vampire she goes falling crazy for the rest of the film It works really well because she's actually the main villain if you think about it she Know that they're trying to kill her and you feel bad for because her father  didn't want to take care of her so he decided to abandon her at this house so she can kill people who enter her house. Probably the best moment with Abigail is where she tells Joey and her group that she knows that their real names and their deep and dark and secrets and not only was it really disturbing but it makes sense because Abigail likes to play mind games with her victims before she kills them and  it was a very effective scene and it's probably one of the darkest Moment of the entire film because they were surprised that she knows all of their past mistakes and personal lives. The chemistry between her and Melissa Barrera is still spectacular.

Now let's talk about Giancarlo Esposito as  Lambert now even though He doesn't play a big role in the film. He still does a perfect job as the character. Now Lambert as a character is really interesting because he is essentially the group's boss and tells them to find Abigail and kidnap her and hold her for money. Now he is a really awesome supporting villain. Probably the best moment with Lambert is the way he reveals to Frank and Abigail that he is a vampire and not only is it really dark but it makes sense because at first when you're introduced to him in the film he is a human but then it turned out that Abigail's father bit him in the transformed into Vampire it is probably the most shocking moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Melissa Barrera Is remarkable.

Kathryn Newton plays Sammy in the film. I have to say she still does a wonderful job as this character. Now Sammy munch like other characters really interesting because much like Joey and the rest of the crew she also wants to escape from Abigail and get out of the house and survive and out of all the characters she was probably the funniest character in the entire from her reaction to whoever she saw Abigail was really funny because at first she just sees that Abigail just a little kid and doesn't know that she is a vampire Probably the best moment Sammy Is where she asked Abigail she can turn to a vampire she says maybe she starts freaking out and all the way that really funny but it makes sense because the most vampire movies when you get bit by a vampire you turn into one. It's probably one of the darkly comedic moments of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Melissa Barrera Is astounding.

Dan Stevens plays Frank in the film. I have to say he still doesn't glorious job at the character Now the character of Frank is really interesting because at first view believe that he wants to help Joey and her them take down Abigail but there's a certain twist with his character that I would hate to spoil if you haven't seen the film All I´m going is get ready for one of the most disturbing transformations you'll ever see in a 2024  film. The scene where Lambert Vines Frank and he mutates into a vampire is not only really disturbing but it makes sense because he want to Lambert to bite him so he can have vampire powers. It is probably the darkest and the most disturbing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Melissa Barrera  Is magnificent.

Matthew Goode doesn't play a huge role in the film But he does play Abigail´s father Dracula in the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. Now Dracula as the character Is really interesting because his motivation is that he wants to have a daughter Abigail kill joey and turn her into a vampire. Probably the best moment with Dracula is where he tells Abigail to kill Joey and not only that really disturbing but makes us because he wants her To become vampire Just like him and his daughter Abigail. It is probably the most surprising moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Melissa Barrera is outstanding.

The directing by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett Is really entertaining because what I like about their directing that they do a Spectacular job of discussing about how to defeat a vampire because in some movies you have these garlic or crosses or even group therapy sessions in the case of Renfield so I think they did a terrific job of doing that aspect of the film but they make the character of Abigail really sympathetic because her father didn't really here Very well at all because he mistreated her. But I like how Abigail can be shown to be very sinister and unstable so I think they did an astonishing job with that as well. So overall I think they did a perfect job directing the film mixing the horror scenes with a lot of the funny moments and some of the more lighthearted moments in this film.

So in conclusion I still really enjoyed this film The storyline was really awesome because it focuses on Abigail and her tragic vampire and killer and I think the film did a tremendous job with that I also like how the movie was flavor also really intense and the third twist it turns and makes without spoiling they worked extremely well for this film and I have to say Abigail is probably up there with Proximous Caesar as one of the best villains of 2024. I also think that Abigail is up there with William Hale from Killer the Flower Moon as one of the best villains of the 2020s. I have to say this movie is probably up there with Spaceman with Adam Sandler as one of the best movies of 2024. I have to say if you enjoy Renfield with Nicolas Cage then I'm sure you're going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
