Here is My Movie Review of Wish

Here is My Movie Review of Wish

So basically what happens is that you have the woman named Princess Asha who lives in the kingdom of Rosas and she wants her grandfather Sabino´s wish to be granted so she decided to see King Magnifico to see if he can grant the wish but he refuses because he is the one that decides who gets their wish granted so  Asha  designs to go for a walk and look at the stars and then he she means a wishing star and for friends it. But then she finds out that King Magnifico wants to harness all of the wishes in the world and become the most powerful sorcerer so it's up to Asha and Valentino and the star To take down King Magnifico and save the kingdom and restore all the wishes to everybody and that is basically what the story is for this film.

Now the acting in this movie might be one of the best Acting ever in a Disney movie. I think everyone does a glorious job as their characters.

However the absolute big standout of the entire movie is Ariana DeBose as Asha. Out of all the Disney characters Asha is probably the best one because you really feel bad for him because all she wants is to have her father's wish come true But  King Magnifico Refuses because he wants everything to go in the way. No the best and emotional moment is during the climax where Asha Get the entire kingdom to sing The song The Wish is not only really powerful and beautifully sung by everybody but it may sense because they need to work together to take down King Magnifico and his dark magic to save the kingdom It's probably one of the best Disney film moments ever. The chemistry between her and Alan Tudyk, Victor Garber, Natasha Rothwell,  Angeliqe Cabral, and  Chris Pine Is perfect.

Now Alan Tudyk as an actor I think he is a decent actor. I think he can be very entertaining. Now it comes to Him in Disney movies His relatively entertaining to watch. I liked him as Hei Hei in Moana. I did not like him as King Candy in Wreck-It Ralph. I just felt like he took the role way too seriously. He didn't even go over the top, he was just very much miscast. But I have to say in this film he probably gives his best performance as Valentino. Now Valentino as a character is probably the funniest character in the entire movie because everything he says is really funny such as the scene where he  starts talking. Not only was it really funny. It was really funny but it made sense because before that he didn't really talk he just made noises. It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film. On top of being funny Valentino Had the heart because he really wants to help Asha complete her mission of getting all the wishes back and having her father grant his wish. The chemistry between him and Ariana DeBose is marvelous.

Victor Garber Probably gives his best performance as Asha´s dad Sabino. Now the character of Sabino Is very tragic and very interesting because you do feel bad for him because he is 100 years old and he really wants to grant his wish but King Magnifico refuses it because he doesn't want anyone to grant any wish other than him who decides for people to grant their wishes. But by doubt the best scene with Sabino  and that's the very end of the film after King Magnifico is defeated he finally gets his wish to become true and his wish was to play his guitar in front of the entire kingdom and not only is it the most powerful and beautiful ending to the film but it makes absolute sense because he wanted to achieve the wish that he never got and that was to Play his guitar in front of the whole kingdom. It is probably the most tremendous scene in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Asha Is perfect.

But probably the best character in the entire film is the star Now the star in the film is really cute but he is also determined to take down King Magnifico and save the kingdom and light everyone grant their wishes and probably the best scene with the star is where he first meets Asha For the first time Not only is it a cute character interaction but it makes sense because they have to team up to take down King Magnifico and same the kingdom so everyone has the ability to grant their wish it is probably the most powerful moment of the entire film. The friendship between him and Asha  Is really adorable.

Natasha Rothwell Probably gives her best performance as Asha´s mother Sakina. Now Sakina as the character is Really incredible because she really Cares about her daughter Asha and wants her to stop King Magnifico and bring back all the wishes To the kingdom. Probably the most beautiful and strongest moment at the end is where she watches her husband Sabino Playing his guitar is probably the most beautiful scene in all of Disney because she really wanted him to have his wish be granted to him and the wish come true as probably the most powerful Disney moment of all time. The chemistry between her and Ariana DeBose Is outstanding.

Now for this being Angeliqe Cabral´s Very first anime film that she has done. I have to say she does a fantastic and wonderful job as the character of Queen Amaya.  Now Queen Amaya I think characters very mysterious and very interesting because she does serve her husband king magnifico but at the same time she doesn't like ways doing so when she eventually finds out what his true intentions are she actually betrays him and joins Arsha To stop him and bring all the wishes back and save the kingdom and have everyone grant their wishes. The scene where she betrays King magnifico is probably the most shocking and Powerful scenes because at first she did serve by his side really caring about him but once she finds out how much of a scumbag he is she is immediately done with him and doesn't want to spend time with him.  Not only was it a very incredible and surprising scene but it made sense because Once she found out his true intentions she didn't want him to destroy the kingdom and it is probably the most surprising and the most satisfying moment of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Ariana DeBose Is wonderful.

Now when it comes to Disney Villains I enjoy a lot of them. My favorite Disney villain of all time is Scar from the Lion King because he is so scary but at the same time he is very funny in a dark way and it's all thanks to Jeremy Irons´s tremendous and entertaining performance. No a lot of people say that King Magnifico is a horrible villain but to be honest I don't think he is nearly as bad as a lot of people are saying because the worst Disney villain is Prince Hans from Frozen because you can't hate him in a fun way you just hand him because he is a jerk. but I'll tell you this King Magnifico is probably the most powerful and one of the most evil  Disney villains. Now I don't think he is as evil as Judge Claude Frolo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame because that villain is a lot more hateful and a lot more Cold hearted and more realistic than King Magnifico. He's definitely the most self-centered villain. Now his motivation is that he wants to harness all the wishes for himself and become the most powerful sorcerer of all time and he does succeed in that he steals everyone's wishes from the kingdom to power his staff. Now the character of King Magnifico is very entertaining because he starts out very nice and down to earth. But he starts to go evil when he finds out that he can harness all of the power and all the wishes in the world to become super powerful. Also his villain song all the thanks to you gave is one of the most underrated Disney villain songs and not dimension King Magnifico is really fun to hate because you really want this bastard this narcissistic piece of shit to get what he deserves and he does is punishment he gets trapped in the mirror and he begs the queen to lay them out and she says no and she tells  someone to take him and hang him in the dungeon and it's one of the most satisfying Disney villain punishments of all time. He is voiced by Chris Pine and he does a wonderful and incredible job as the character. The scene where King Magnifico steals the star and traps him in his staff is not only really dark and cruel but made sense because he wanted all the stars in the sky so he can become the most powerful sorcerer in the world and it is probably the most dark and suspenseful moment of the entire film. Also this is a very different Chris Pine performance because we're used to him playing the nice guy like Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians but in this he plays a villain and it works extremely well. The rivalry between him and Arsha Is astonishing. Also I think King Magnifico is up there with the High Evolutionary from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 as one of the best villains of 2023. The chemistry between him and Ariana DeBose Is astonishing and very incredible.

Now the acting in this movie is really interesting but the best thing about this entire film is the directing by Chris Buck and Fewn Veerasunthorn Because why I love about their directing is that they do a really great job of giving this movie a beautiful message and that is anything that's possible if you put your mind to it and dreams can come true if you never give up and always try to get into achieve what you want to do. Also they give Asha   A really powerful and emotional journey because she wants Her grandfather’’s Wish come true and she'll do anything in her power to make that happen. I did get it very incredible and Excellent of how they did that.

So in conclusion this is one of the best Disney films I have ever seen. At first I wasn't into this because of the animation and the reviews people were giving it. But after I watched it I actually loved it. I like the storyline. I love all the characters. Also King Magnifico is one of the most underrated animated Disney villains and one of the best Disney villains that you just love to hate. I think he is up there with Death Puss In Boots The Last Wish as one of the darkest and one of the best villains of the 2020s. Also this is definitely in my top five best movies of 2023. I highly recommend you watch the film especially if you're a gigantic Disney fan. I give the film a 10/10.
