Here is My Movie Review of Cobweb

Here is My Movie Review of Cobweb

So basically what happens and that you have this kid named Peter and Lives with his mother Carol and his father Mark and  he's been hearing weird tapping noises through his bedroom wall and his parents think he is Imagining but he tries to convince them that there's something behind the wall and he later finds out that it is deceased sister Sarah who wants him to kill his mom and dad so they can stay together and it's up to Peter and his teacher Miss Devine try to escape from Sarah and escape the house and that is basically what the story is for the film.

The acting in this movie is Perfect I think all the actors give stellar performances as their characters. You can tell that they are having fun in the film.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Woody Norman as Peter. What makes Peter such an Incredible character is that you really feel bad for him because his mom and dad are  not really abusive towards him. They act really weird Around him. They are very overprotective of him. He constantly gets mistreated by the students at his school. He also just wants to escape from his sister Sarah and  escape from the house and survive. Probably the best moment with Peter is when he found out that Sarah was his deceased sister and not only was it really chilling but it made sense because that was the thing that his mother Carol and his father Mark were trying to keep from him. It is probably the most disturbing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Lizzy Caplan, Cleopatra Coleman, Anthony Starr, and Debra Wilson Is terrific.

Lizzy Caplan Plays Peter's mother Carol in the film. I have to say she does a spectacular job as the character. Now the character of Carol is really interesting because well she does deeply care for her son Peter Can you die want anything bad happened to him but the same time she is going a little crazy because of Sarah possessing parts of the house so you can understand why she is thinking of killing her own son because of that reason because Sarah is making her go crazy. Probably the best moment with Carol Is where she Is possessed by Sarah and she is chasing her son Peter of the stairs and trying to kill him and not only was it really more bid but it made sense because she was possessed by Sarah it is probably the most disturbing and  the most terrifying scenes of the entire film that chemistry between her and Woody Norman is exquisite.

Anthony Starr plays Peter's father Mark in the film. Now the character of Mark is pretty disturbing because well he doesn't hate his son he does become more creepy as the film goes on he cuts his arm open with knives he treats his son Peter kind of like garbage because he is very much overprotective of him and doesn't want him to find out that he had a sister named Sarah that he buried in the garden. Probably the best moment with Mark is where he is eating the soup and as they eat that he becomes more sick and he demands his wife Carol to Call 911 and then he starts barfing black blood and not only was it really dark and disturbing but it made sense because Sarah told Peter to poison his parents soup with rat poison. It is probably the most disturbing and one of the most graphic moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Woody Norman is astounding.

Cleopatra Coleman Plays  Peter's substitute teacher Miss Devine In the film. I have to say she does a spectacular job as the character. What makes Miss Devine Such a wonderful character is that she really cares for her student Peter and wants to help him escape his evil demonic sister Sarah and tries to escape from the house. Probably the best scene with   Miss Devine is where she and Peter are trying to escape from Sarah By trying to fight her off and not only was it a very intense sequence but it made sense because Sarah wanted to keep Peter all to herself. It is probably the most disturbing scene of the entire film. The chemistry between her and Woody Norman is excellent.

Debra Wilson voices Sarah in the film. I have to say she does a tremendous job as the character. What makes Sarah such an Incredible and interesting villain  Is that at first you don't really see her because you just hear her voice but as the film goes on you slowly start to see her. When she reveals herself near the end of the film it's very disturbing and very creepy. Now her Motivated that she wants to kill everybody so she can have younger brother Peter all to herself because she never had the chance to spend  time with him. Probably the best moment when Sarah is where she reveals herself and she is going on a rampage just killing anyone who steps into the house and not only is it really morbid and very creepy but it makes sense because she'll do anything in her power to Kill anyone who gets her away In order to have Her younger brother Peter all too herself. It is probably the most horrifying sequence of the entire film. I think Sarah is up there with King Magnifico from Wish as one of the most underrated villains of 2023. The rivalry between her and Peter is astounding. The chemistry between her and Woody Norman is perfect.

Now for this being Samuel Bodin´s directorial Debut.I have to say she does a incredible job of directing this movie because why I like about his directing is that he does a tremendous and outstanding job of showing the darkness of Of what evil demonic spirits can be lurking in somebody's house because in real life there are such things as paranormal hauntings and evil demonic entity that live in an old house. I also like how he builds up Sarah; he does not immediately show her. In the very beginning you hear her voice and then During the climax of the film you do see her. I think it is really excellent how he did that.

So in conclusion I had to say I really enjoyed this film because Peter goes through an emotional and powerful character ark have having to confront the  corpse of his possessed Sarah I also think that  This is probably the most  underrated/overlooked film of 2013 which is really sad because I think in more people saw this film I think they would like that a lot more. I think the horror atmosphere was a really cool touch and all the kills were really interesting to see and the point or effects look really realistic even though it's CGI it still looks very real. I think Sarah is up there with Dracula from Renfield as one of the best villains of 2023. I think if you like Renfield with Nicolas Cage then I'm sure you're going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
