Here is My Movie Review of Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom

So basically what happens is that it takes place after the first movie left off and you have Arthur Curry/Aquaman Mirror and they have a child named Arthur Carey Jr and they spend time with each other. But then you have David Kane / Black Manta who is seeking revenge on Arthur Curry/Aquaman For not helping him save his father Jesse from the first film so he decides to destroy Atlantis so in doing that he can let the help of Dr Steven Shen and he finds the black trident that possesses him and give them more power than ever and he wants to use it to destroy Atlantis and released Kordex to destroy the entire world so Arthur Curry/ Aquaman has to team up with his Younger have brother Ohm / Ocean Master and it's up to them to take down David Kane / Black Manta and Kordax and save Atlantis and that is basically what the story is for the film. 

The acting in this movie is Really interesting because I like the acting in the first film but I have to say I think it is even better here that was in that for film because in this film they have a lot more to do they have a lot of more interesting scenes together in the actors are having a lot more fun than they did in that first film. 

Jason Momoa plays Arthur Curry / Aquaman in the film. I have to say he still did a spectacular job as the character. Now well I liked Arthur Curry / Aquaman in the first film I have to say he's even better in this in that film because in this film he had a wife and child that he's trying to spend time with and he has to team up with his younger half brother Ohm / ocean Master to take down his arch nemesis David Kane / Black Manta  and Kordax save the kingdom so he has a lot more responsibility in this film they did in the first film. Probably the best scene with Arthur Curry / Aquaman is where he meets his younger brother ohm / ocean master and in the list has Help to take down David Kane/ Black Manta and not only was it really emotional but it made sense because he couldn't take down David Kane /Black Manta by himself. It is probably the most powerful moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Randall Park, Pilou Asbaek, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul- Mateen The II Is terrific. 

Patrick Wilson reprises his role as Orm/Ocean Master In the film. No well I liked him in the first film There was one moment in the first film where I thought was dumb way he screams and demands to die that when the only time Patrick Wilson went a little too over the top. But I'm happy to say in this film he is completely fixed he's not even the bad guy in this film he's more of an antihero. Also what I like about Ocean Master is that despite how much he hates his older Half brother Arthur Curry / Aquaman, he is forced to team up with him to save all Atlantis and  He actually goes through a really powerful character arc in the film. Probably the best moment with Orm/Ocean master is where he set to all come in that he never wanted to the throne and it's kind of interesting because in the first film he wanted it but  we the audience didn't really know why and then he tells Arthur Curry/Aquaman is that his dad want him to be a really powerful ruler and it is probably the most beautiful and dramatic scene of the entire film. I find it funny that even in this film Orm/Ocean Master still doesn't like Arthur Curry/Aquaman and it led to some very funny scenes. Probably the best moment with Arm/ Ocean Master is where he thinks he's going to get a gun from the king Nereus and  he gives him an ax and not only was it really funny but it made sense because he fully does it really trust him after what he did in the first film It is probably the funniest moment of the entire film.  The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa is excellent. 

Dolph Lundgren Plays King Nereus In the film. Now I liked King Nereus In the first film. But I have to say he didn't  really did that much but I have to say he is giving a lot more to do in this than he did in the first film Because then this film he wants to help has son Arthur Curry / Aquaman to take down David Kane/Black Manta and save all Atlantas and the world. Probably the best scene King Nereus Is where he Attacked by one of David Kane/Black Manta’s machines and he is asking Orm/Ocean Master to help him and at first he refuses but at the last second Orm/ Ocean Master attacks the machine and saves them and not only was it really intense but it made sense because at first Orm/Ocean Master wants to leave him to die. But he had a change of heart and destroyed the machine and regained his father's trust. It is probably the strongest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa is astonishing.

Nicole Kidman plays Arthur Curry / Aquaman's mother Atlannta In the film. I have to say I liked her in the first film much like King Nereus. She didn't really have much to do in the first film. But I'm happy to say she has a lot more to do in this one because she really wants her kingdom to be safe so she wants Arthur Curry/ Aquaman to recruit his younger half brother Orm / Ocean Master that they can take down David Kane / Black Manta and KorDax and save the world and the kingdom. Probably the best moment with Atlanna Is where she mentions to her two sons Arthur Curry / Aquaman and Orm Ocean/ Master to keep each of them safe and not only was it really powerful but it made sense because she wants them to be by each other Signs at all times and protect each other and it is probably the most powerful moment of the entire film. Chemistry between her and Jason Momoa is tremendous. 

Randall Park comes back as Dr Stevenphen Shin In the film. Now he was just in the post credit scene in the first Aquaman film. But In this film he basically serves as David Cain / Black Manta right hand man but you feel bad for him because he's not really pure evil he is just following David Kane / black Manta’s orders and he is just getting treated like shit being threatened to be killed if he didn't to do what he says and you figure out later on that he doesn't want to destroy Atlantis he just wanted to do research and learn how the people of Atlantis live. He is probably up there with M.O.D.O.K from Ant-Man The Wasp Quantum Mania at one of the most tragic villains of 2023 because both of them are treated like garbage M.O.D.O.K gets treated like of garbage by King in the Conqueror and Dr Stevphen Shen  gets treated like garbage by David Kane/ Black Manta in this film. Probably the best moment was Dr Steven Shen is where he Stands up for himself against David McCain/Black Manta And save Arthur Curry / Aquaman's baby Arthur Curry Jr because he don't want David Kane /Black Manta to kill him and not only was it really powerful but it made sense because he was sick of being told what to do he didn't want him to go along with his evil plans and it's probably the most beautiful and compelling moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa is excellent. 

Pilou Asbaek plays Kordex In the film. I have to say he Does a terrific job as the Character. What makes Kordex such a such a awesome feeling that he basically wants to punch everything in the darkness and his backstory is very entertaining because he used to be the king of Necros but unfortunately he got power hungry so he used the black Trident to turn into an undead monster along with all of his servants to rule over the kingdom. Probably the best moment with Kordex  Is where he possesses Orm/ Ocean Master and tells him to kill his brother Arthur Curry/ Aquaman so he can become king of Atlantis and not only was it really disturbing by made sense because he wanted to have Orm / Ocean Master to  turn against Arthur Curry /Aquaman and kill him so he can become king of Atlantis it's probably the darkest moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa is exquisite. 

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Yahya Abdul- Mateen The II  as David Kane / Black Manta. Now in the first movie David Kane / Black Manta was a awesome villain he had a great motivation and well I liked him in that film I have to say I like him bearing this film because he has a lot more screen time he go up more medicine and downright terrifying in the film now his villain motivation is that he wants revenge on Arthur Curry/Flash Aquaman for not saving his father Jesse Cain from the first movie so he decides to kidnap Arthur Curry/Aquaman's son Arthur Curry Jr to get Arthur Curry / Aquaman too Fight against him. Now just say David Kane / Black Manta evil that is way too nice of a word. He is downright deranged and terrifying and he It's up there with the High Evolutionary from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 as one of the best villains you just love to hate you hate everything about this bastard and you just want to die and he does die at the end he falls down the into the pit. Probably the best moment with David Kane/Black Manta is where he says to Dr Stevphen that he will kill Arthur Curry / Aquaman's whole family and not only was it really intense. But it made sense because they want revenge on Aquaman for not saving his father from the first movie It is probably the most intense part of the film. The rivalry between him and Arthur Curry/Aquaman is astounding. Also David Kane// Black Manta is probably up there with Oliver Quick from Saltburn as one of the best villains of 2023. The chemistry between him and Jason Momoa Is excellent. 

The directing by James Wang Is really Incredible  because what I like his directing and he  develops more of the characters, specifically the relationship between Arthur Curry/Aquaman and Orm/Ocean Master because in the first film they hate each other. Well in this film they actually have to team up to save all of Atlantis and I think it is really interesting how he did that. 

So in conclusion, I liked the first talk woman movie back in 2018. I have to say this one takes that film is it a lot better because this film adds a lot of awesome things such as making David Kane /Black Manta more intimidating and more Unstable than he was in the first film. The relationship between orthodox Aquaman and his younger brother orm/Ocean Master is probably the strongest aspect of the film because they have no choice but to team up to save their kingdom. Also David Kane / Black Manta is probably up there with Green Goblin from Spider-Man No Way Home as one of the best villains of the 2020s. I think More people should watch this movie especially if you like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 which stars Chris Pratt. I give this movie a 10/10.
