Here is My Movie Review of Togo

So basically what happens is that it tells the real life event of Leonhard Seppala who was tasked to lead a Sled dog team led by Togo in order to deliver medicine to sick children in The cold winter in 1925 in a small town. It is up to Leonhard Seppala To deliver the medicine to the children With the a sled dog team and that is basically what the story is for the movie. 

The acting in this movie is terrific. I still think everyone gives really entertaining performances. 

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Willem Dafoe as The character of  Leonhard Seppala. What makes Leonhard Seppala such a spectacular character is that he would do everything in his power to deliver the medicine back to the small town in order to care for all the sick children of the epidemic. Probably the best moment Leonhard Seppala has is where he is navigating through the snow and not only is it really intense but it makes sense because he has to go all the way to the small town to deliver the medicine so the children can get better. It is to find the most powerful  scene in the entire film. This is Willem Defoe's second best performance had ever done because the best performance he's ever done was the Green Goblin in Spider-Man no way home. The chemistry between him and Julianne Nicholson, Christopher Heyerdahi Is still terrific. 

Julianne Nicholson plays Leonhard Seppala’s wife  Contance Seppala In the film. I have to say she still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Contance Seppala  such a wonderful character is that She really believes that Togo can help her husband Leonhard Seppala Navigate through Through the harsh winter in order to deliver the medicine to care the children of the epidemic. Not only was it really emotional but it made sense because she believed that Togo can help Leonhard Seppala navigate through the snow and get to the small town and time to cure the children of the sickness. It is probably the most powerful moment in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Willem Dafoe is exquisite. 

However the best character in the entire film is Togo because what makes Togo such a marvelous character is that he really wants to prove himself that he can help Leonhard Seppala survive through the winter and deliver the medicine to care for the children of the epidemic. Probably the best scene with Togo is where he and Leonhard Seppala are sitting by the fireplace and he is telling him that he can do anything and not only was it really emotional but it made sense because at first he doesn't like Togo. But as the film goes on when he starts to like him it is probably one of the sweetest moments in the entire film and the bonding between him and  Leonhard Seppala Is still probably the strongest aspect of this movie really by them and a team. The chemistry between him and Willem Dafo is outstanding. 

Christopher Heyerdahi plays George Maynard In the film. I have to say he still does a marvelous job as the Character. What makes George Maynard such an incredible character is that he basically wants to help  Leonhard Seppala and Togo to deliver medicine to the children so it can cure them of the epidemic. Probably the best moment with George Maynard Is where he tells Leonhard Seppala That Togo is getting old  and getting up there in age and not only was it really powerful but it makes sense because in real life dogs do actually age and at some point they can't even walk or breathe really well as they used to. It is probably one of the strongest moments in the film. The chemistry between him and Willem Dfoe is still astonishing. 

Fun fact this is the Third Disney Plus original movie ever made and for this being their very Third original movie that they made. They made with a Home Run with this one And the Disney Plus original movies would only get better and better and they went on.

The directing by Ericson Core Is fantastic because what I like about his directing is that he basically got everything about the life of Leonhard Seppala  because in real life he really did have to journey all the way to Alaska to deliver the medicine to cure the children of the epidemic. I still think it's tremendous of how he did that. 

So in conclusion I still really enjoy this film. I still think the storyline is really awesome, how it told the life of Leonhard Seppala and how he traveled through the snow all the way to Alaska to deliver the medicine to care for all the children of the epidemic. Also this is probably up there with Inside as one of my favorite  Willem Dafoe movies. This is still in my top 5 Favorite movies of 2019. This is also in my top 10 favorite streaming movie the long time. I still think if you enjoy the movie Zodiac with Mark Ruffalo then I'm sure you're going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
