Here is My Movie Review of Red Eye

So basically what happened is that you have this girl named Lisa Reister and she is trying to cope with the loss of her grandmother and she is at the airport ready to fly back home to Miami and then she meets this guy named Jackson Rippner who at first seems to be very nice. But then it is revealed that he wants to Kill William Keefe and his family by blowing up the hotel and it is up to Lisa Reister To take down Jackson Rippner And save William Keefe and his family and that is basically what the story is for this movie. 

The acting in this movie is still terrific. I still think everyone does a great job as the characters. You could tell that the actors are having a lot of fun in this film. 

Rachel McAdams plays Lisa Reister In the film. I have to say she still does an amazing job as this character. What makes Lisa Reister such an excellent character is that she really wants to be With her dad back in Miami but at the same time you can tell that she's under a lot of stress because Jackson Rippner Is forcing her to go along with his evil plan. Probably the best scene with  Lisa Reister Is where fighting Jackson Rippner  and her house trying to kill him and not only was it really dark but it made sense because she wanted to prevent him from killing William Keffe and his family. It is probably one of the most intense parts of the film. The chemistry between her and Brian Cox, Jayma Mays,  and Cillian Murphy Is still fantastic. 

Brian Cox plays Lisa's dad Joe Reisert in the film. I have to say he still does an amazing job as this character. What makes Joe Reisert such an interesting character is that you can tell that he really cares for his daughter Lisa and wants her to be safe. Probably the best scene with Joe Reisert is at the end of the movie where he and Lisa are reunited and not only is it really emotional but made sense because they both really cared about each other. It is probably the most powerful moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Rachel McAdams is still remarkable. 

Jayma Mays plays Cynthia In the film. I have to say she still does an incredible job as this character. What makes Cynthia  Such an awesome character that she really wants to help Lisa Reister prevent Jackson Rippner from Killing William Keefe and his family. Probably the best moment with Cynthia  is when she is warning William Keefe that Jackson Rippner Is trying to kill him and his whole family. Not only was it really dark but it made sense because that is what he is planning to do. It is probably one of the most disturbing moments in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Rachel McAdams is remarkable. 

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Cillian Murphy as Jackson Rippner. What makes Jackson Rippner such an awesome and scary villain is that he is very calm and collective. Also his motivation is very simple and to the point he basically wants to kill William Keefe and his whole family by destroying the hotel. Probably the best moment with Jackson Rippner is when he first meets Lisa Reister and he comes off really nice and not only was it really intense but it makes sense because at first the film wants you to believe that he is very nice gentleman but in reality he is a terrace who wants to kill a lot of people. It is probably the most disturbing scene in the entire film. The rivalry between him and Lisa Reister Is astonishing. The chemistry between him and Rachel McAdams is marvelous. 

The directed by Wes Craven is Awesome because what I like about his directing is that he does a great job of making you root for the main character because you really want Lisa  Reister Survive against Jackson Rippner. I  still  think Terrific of how he did that.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy the film. I still like how the story is very simple and easy to follow. I also like how this movie's not an A24 film but in some ways it is like an A24 phone because of the very simple story and very interesting characters. Cillian Murphy's performance as Jackson Rippner Is probably up there with Paul Rudd's performance as Cactus Bill from Mute as one of my favorite villain performances. I still think this movie is up there with Shutter Island as one of my favorite horror movies. I still think if you enjoy The Lighthouse with Willem Dafoe then I'm sure you are going to like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
