Here is My Movie Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence

So basically what happens is that you have this robot kid named David Who gets adopted by this woman name Monica Swinton and her husband Henry Swinton and they take care of them but once they're real son Martin Swinton Come back until their lives with them and David gets jealous because Martin Swinton is getting more attention than him and then Martin Swinton tells him to cut their mother's hair. But by doing that Monica Swinton decides to To abandon David in the woods with his teddy bear named Teddy. So then he meets this robot named Gigolo Joe and he tells them that he needs to find the blue fairy so she can turn him into a real boy. So it's up to David, Teddy and Gigolo Joe to find the blue fairy so he can turn into a real boy and that is basically what the story is for this movie. The way I can describe the story and that is  just like Pinocchio but if Pinocchio was a robot and not a puppet. 

The acting in this movie is terrific. I still think everyone does a great job as their characters. 

However the absolute big stand out of the entire film is Haley Jole Osment as David. What makes David such an incredible character that all he wants to do is to find The Blue Fairy and become a real boy. Probably the best moment with David is at the end where he finally talks to the blue fairy and he tells her to bring back his mother but she says she can't because she can only bring people Back if the person Had something that belong to the human who had died and that causes David to break down crying not only was it really sad but it made sense because he really misses his mother. It is probably one of the most heartbreaking scenes of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Jude Law, Francis O'Connor, Sam Roberts, Robin Williams, and Jack Angel It is still really fantastic. 

Francis O'Connor plays David’s mother Monica Swinton In the film. I have to say she still does an amazing job as the character. What makes Monica Swinton such an awesome character is that you can see that she really cares for son David.Probably the best moment with Monica Swinton Is when they're in the forest and David wants to stay with her but she has to leave him and as she is doing that you can see her crying because even though she doesn't want to abandon her son but she has to because David has to survive. Not only was it really emotional but it made sense because she really loved David.  It is probably the most heartbreaking scene of the entire film. Fun facts actresses like Julian Moore and Gwyneth Paltrow were both considered to play Monica Swinton. The chemistry between her and Haley Jole Osment Is still fantastic. 

Sam Roberts plays Monica Swinton’s Husband in the film Henry Swinton In the film. I have to say he still does a great job as the character. Now Henry Swinton is the opposite of his wife Monica Swinton who cared about David. But Henry Swinton doesn't really care about David, he only cares about his Real son Martin Swinton because he is a real boy and not a robot. Probably the best scene with Henry Swinton is when David was trying to cut Monica Swinton’s Hair while she was asleep and he got really mad at him for doing that. Not only was it really suspenseful but it made sense because he thought David was trying to hurt her. It is probably the darkest moment in the film. The chemistry between him and  Sam Roberts Is still excellent.

 

Robin Williams voices Dr. Known in the film. I have to say he still does a great job as the character. Now even though Dr. Know is only in one scene. I have to say He is still a very entertaining character because what I like about Dr Know as a character is that he really wants to help David Gigolo Joe and Teddy find the blue fairy so David can become a real boy. Probably my favorite With Dr Know , he explains to Gigolo Joe and David about the story of Pinocchio. Not only was it really educational but it made sense because David, much like Pinocchio, wants to become a real boy. The chemistry between him and Haley Jole Osment Is still fantastic. 

Jack Angel Voices Teddy in the film. I have to say he still does a remarkable job as the character. What makes Teddy such an incredible character is that he is basically tasked to help David find the blue fairy and protect him at all cost. Probably The best moment with Teddy is where he is at the fair trying to find David and save him from being Destroyed by the fair owner. Not only was it really intense but it made sense because Teddy did not want David to die. The chemistry between him and Haley Jole Osment Is still really outstanding. 

Jude Law Plays Gigolo Joe In the film. I still think out of all the performances in the film Jude Law's performance as Gigolo Joe is probably my favorite performance in the entire film. Gigolo Joe is probably my favorite character in the entire film because why I like about Gigolo Joe is that you can see that he really cares about David and he wants to help him find The Blue Fairy and have him be a real boy. Probably my favorite scene with Gigolo Joe Is when he tells David that humans are not good at all because all they do is mistreat robots by destroying them or enslaving them to do their own bidding. Not only was it really emotional but it makes sense because people in real life mistreat technology to use  it for their own Evil or straight up bad things that they're going to do. It is probably the darkest moment in the entire film. This is probably my favorite Up there with Jude Law performance and Pitch Black from Rise of the Guardians as one of my favorite performances that he has done. The chemistry between him and Haley Jole Osment is still tremendous. 

The directing by Steven Spielberg is really interesting because what I like about his directing is that he makes you feel really sympathetic toward the character of David because David is a character that have been made fun of because he's not a real boy her mother had to abandon him in the woods and you just really want him to become a real boy and have a family. I still think it was really incredible of how he did that. 

So in conclusion I really enjoyed this movie. I liked following the character David and seeing him go from a robot into a real boy. I still think that is the strongest aspect of the film. This is probably up there with Ready Player One as one of my favorite movies directed by Steven Spielberg. Gigolo Joe is still my favorite character in the entire film. I just find him really interesting and you can tell he really cares about David and that's probably one of my favorite things about this film is the bonding between him and David. I still think this is probably my favorite Jude Law film. This is probably still my favorite Movie of 2001. I still think if you enjoy the movie Her then I still think you would enjoy this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
