Here is My Movie Review of Stronger

Here is My Movie Review of Stronger

So basically what happens is that it tells the real life story of actor Jeff Bauman his tragedy lost his legs during the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15th 2013 After that day he was hospitalized and Became Paralyzed and other results he was not able to walk again until he had to learn how to do physical therapy and learn to walk again and that is basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in this movie is phenomenal. I think everyone gives it that all. I can tell everyone is having fun and their characters.

Now the actor that makes this movie so outstanding is  Jake Gyllenhaal as the character of Jeff Bauman. Now what makes Jeff Bauman such a spectacular character is that you really feel So bad for this character because he  lost the ability to walk because he got his legs blown up in the marathon bombings. Probably the darkest scene is where he's on the ice rink waving the flag and He starts having flashbacks of the time he lost to the abilities to walk so he is basically reviving that tragic moment and I  have to say it is probably the hardest thing to watch because you are understanding the stress that  put him through ever since that happened.  Also I can relate to the character of Jeff Bauman Because I had to stay in the hospital for my kidney transplant, I had to put up with tape on my legs and when the The nurses took the tape off I did not like it because it was very painful to get off. So I know how it felt dealing with that.  The chemistry between him, Tatiiana Maslany, and Miranda Richardson Is excellent.

Miranda Richardson plays Jeff Bauman´s mother Patty Bauman. I have to say she does a remarkable job as the character of Patty Bauman. What makes Patty Bauman such a sympathetic character is that you understand why she wants her son to walk again because she wants him to get his life back to normal. Probably the most saddest moment with Patty Bauman Is where she visit Her son Jeff Bauman In the hospital because she is worried if he even survived the marathon bombings. It probably the saddest scene in the film because in real life there are people if their husbands or their family members get hurt really badly the wife or the mother might be worried if they're husband or one of their family members might not survive The accident that put them in the hospital. The chemistry between her and Jake Gyllenhaal is tremendous.

Tatiiana Maslany plays Jeff Bauman’s girlfriend turned wife Erin Hurley. I have to say she does a fantastic job as the character of Erin Hurley. What makes Erin Hurley Such a tragic and sympathetic character and that you understand where she's going through because she has feelings for Jeff Bauman and they start dating. But after Jeff Bauman loses his ability to walk due to the Marathon bombings She starts questioning why hasn't he text back to her in a while. Probably the most saddest scene in the entire film is where she tells Jeff Bauman that she's pregnant but he thinks she is just making it up. But then he eventually finds out and he gets really mad at her for that because he doesn't want to have a kid because he doesn't know if he is up to taking care of it because he can't walk. But then she leaves and goes to her apartment and Jeff Bauman breaks down crying and starts to get out of the car and crawl to her apartment and tries to confess that he loves her but she doesn't want to talk to him. It is probably the saddest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Jake Gyllenhaal is astonishing.

The directing by David Gordon Green Is awesome because what I like about his directing is that he basically got the whole story surrounding the real life actor Jeff Bauman really accurate to the real life events. I think it is really interesting how he did that.

So in conclusion I really enjoyed this movie. I think this is one of the best movies of 2017.  This is now in my top 10 favorite movies of 2017. I think this is up there with Spider-Man Far from Home as my favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movies. I think this is up there with The Catcher Was A Spy with Paul Rudd as one of the best biopic movies. I give this movie a 10/10.
