Here is My Movie Review of Mogwai Legends of the Jungle
So basically what happens is that you have this boy named Mogwal Who has been living in the jungle and he was raised by wolves And he must save the jungle from the evil tiger known as Shere Khan. That is basically what the story is for this movie.
The acting / voice acting in this movie is still great.
Rohan Chand as Mowgil. I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is really smart and really sympathetic because all he wants to do is to protect the jungle from Shere Khan. The chemistry between him and Christian Bale, Andy Serkis, Cate Blanchett, and Benedict Cumberbatch is still really great.
Cate Blanchett as Kaa. I still think she does a great job as this character. What makes Kaa a great character is that she's not really the villain in this movie. She mostly serves as the narrator for the story. The chemistry between her and Rohan Chand is still really great.
Christian Bale as Bagheera. I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is really smart and really sympathetic because all he wants to do is to help Mowgli protect the jungle from Shere Khan. The chemistry between him and Rohan Chand is still really great.
Andy Serkis as Baloo. I still think he does a great job as this character. Now this is a really different Baloo Because in the original Jungle Book and the 2016 reboot he is really happy. But in this movie he is more strict and he acts like a drill sergeant. I still think that was really cool how they did that. The chemistry between him and Rohan Chand is still really great.
Benedict Cumberbatch absolutely nailed it as Shere Khan because this Shere Khan is a lot different than the Shere Khan voiced by Idris Elba in The Jungle Book 2016 because well that one is intimidating. That is nothing compared to Shere Khan in this movie because in this movie be is downright terrifying. Also the voice that Benedict Cumberbatch puts on in this movie is also really menacing. Also the design of Shere Khan is still really cool because instead of being brown like how he was in the 2016 Jungle Book movie. In this movie he is more white and I still think it is really cool how they did that. The chemistry between him and Rohan Chand is still great. The rivalry between him and Mogwai is still great. Also his death in the movie is really gruesome.
The directing by Andy Serkis is still really great. What I like about his directing is that he makes it darker than the 2016 Disney live-action remake. I also like how he makes the movie more accurate to the book.
The CGI on the animals in this movie is still really great.
So in conclusion I still think this is a really underrated Netflix original film. I think more people should see this one. Also if you like the 2016 Jungle Book remake. I'm sure you'll like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
