Here is My Movie Review of Thor

Here is my movie review of Thor

Now out of all the Thor films this one probably has the best storyline because it revolves around Thor being ground Prince of Asgard but after a little mishap with the frost Giants Odin gets mad at him and takes his power the way it can goes to Earth and he meets Jane Foster and her crew and Thor falls in love with her. So he decided to retrieve his hammer and go after Loki sends the Destroyer to kill Thor he gets his powers back and he has to go back to Asgard and take down his evil brother Loki improved the hands worthy to his father and that's basically what the story is for this film and that's why I like it it is really easy to fall and I think it's up there with the storyline in Ant-Man as one of the best MCU story lines of all time.

Now the performances in this movie are tremendous in fact out of all the phase one MCU movies this one probably had the best acting out of all of them this one probably had some of the best performances in the MCU. I think the acting is up there with the acting in Ant-Man at one of the best acted MCU films of all time. I think this film is up there and one of the best acted comic book films of all time right up there with the Dark Knight.

Chris Hemsworth plays Thor In the film. I have to say he still does a tremendous job as the character. Now the character of Thor is Is really accurate to the comics because He is really serious he doesn't crack a lot jokes now I kind of wish that the MCU kept him like how he was in this film because in Thor Ragnarok and especially in Thor love and thunder he is just overly silly but in this film he actually goes through a character arc He starts out very arrogant and he doesn't obey orders from Odin And he gets punished for it he gets his powers taken away and gets banished to earth. Now the themes with Thor are probably some of the best moments of the entire foam whether it's him trying to lift up his hammer or him confronting Loki on the bridge it does lead to some really powerful and some of the most underrated moments in the MCU because well I do like The stuff that he does in The Avengers films. I think I have all the MCU movies this one has some of the best moments with Thor in all of the MCU And to be honest I can watch them all day that's how memorable and entertaining they are. The chemistry between him and Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander Fun fact actors like Tom Hiddleston, Alexander Skarsgard, Liam Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Triple H, Kevin Mckidd, Joel Kinnaman, Channing Tatum, and Daniel Craig were all considered to play Thor.

Natalie Portman plays Jane Foster In the film. I have to say she still does a glorious job as the character Now the character of James Foster in this film is basically Thor's love interest and they do have really awesome chemistry with one another she Essentially wants to help Thor regain his rightful place as Prince of Asgard. The scenes with Jane Foster in the film are really incredible whether it is her meaning Thor for the first time or her reacting to him destroying the Destroyer it does lead to some really Outstanding And Incredible moments in the film. And Jane Foster are the character does get better at the MCU Progresses Especially in Thor Love And Thunder where she becomes Lady Thor.

Anthony Hopkins plays Odin In the film. I have to say he still does a remarkable job as this character. Now the character of Odin is really interesting because he had the king of Asgard he's really strict with his son Thor which is understandable because he doesn't want any bad stuff to happen and when he does chastise Thor for not listening to him Does make sense because he was not about to start a war with the frost Giants. The themes with Odin are really oh really incredible because they are also some of the best moments in the MCU weathered him taking Thor's powers away or him telling Loki his true heritage And why he never told him that he was his adopted father it does lead to some really powerful and Emotional stuff in the film. The chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth is astonishing. Fun fact actor Mel Gibson, Vigo Mortensen, Sam Elliott, Russell Crowe, Max Von Sydow, Liam Neeson, Stellon Skarsgard were all considered to play Odin.

Jaimie Alexander plays Sif I have to say she still does a wonderful job as the character. Now the character of Sif Is terrific Because why I like about her as a character and that she is shown that she's really brave because she will do anything to protect Asgard and it's citizens And prevent any destruction of asgard. The themes with sip are really incredible and really terrific whether it's her teaming up with Thor to take down the Destroyer or Her talking to Odin it does lead to some really fun and captivating moments in the film. chemistry between her and Chris Hemsworth is astounding.

Colm Feore Voices Loki´s father Laufey In the film. I have to say even though he does give the weakest performance in the film and this might be a hot take but I think he gave a better performance than James Spader did in Avengers Age of Ultron as Ultron Because Colm Feore  actually took his role seriously and didn't make Laufey into a joke. Now Laufey as a character is rather forgettable. Now this might come off as another hot tank but I think Laufey is a better villain than  Ultron because Laufey he's actually more intimidating and he doesn't come off I did joke because he does have an on-screen presence. He also does give Thor a challenge and turns off really powerful and really imposing as a villain. The scenes with Laufey are really fun whether it is him invading asgard or him trying to kill Odin in his sleep and does lead to some really intense and really heart pounding moments in the film. Fun fact actors like Brian Cox, Hugo Weaving, Clancy Brown, Ray Stevenson, Charles Dance, Ralph Fiennes, Ian McShane, Christopher Lee, Jolene Glover, Tony Todd, Doug Jones, and Ron Perlman were all considered to voice Laufey.  the chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth is perfect.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Now out of all the characters Loki is my favorite because unlike his other MCU appearances where he if they anti-hero. In this film he's just pure evil like he is in the comics and I really wish that the MCU just kept him like this just pure evil with no redeeming qualities at all. Also you can kind of understand why he hates Odin because he was lied to and denied his Heritage so when he rages War on Earth it does make a lot of sense because he would always jealous of his older brother Thor because he should have been King Of Asgard. Now there are so many memorable moments with Loki in the film like him and Thor fighting on the bridge in the climax of the film or him finding out that Odin has been lying to him it does lead to some really powerful and some of the best moments in the entire MCU. Also that scene of him and Thor fighting all the frost Giants is probably one of the best action sequences in phase 1 of the MCU. I still think Loki is in my top 10 favorite MCU villains. Fun fact actors like Josh Hartnett Jim Carrey, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Ewan McGregor, Jamie Campbell Bower, Jude Law, Jason Ackles, Charlie Cox, Michael Fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch, James McAvoy, Cillain Murphy, Liam Hemsworth were all considered to play Loki.

However the best thing about this movie is the directing by Kenneth Brangh Because this is probably the best directed Thor film of all time because why I love about his directing is that he gives Thor a really perfect and emotional care drugs because in the beginning of the movie Thor is very arrogant he's in over his head he essentially is selfish. But as the film goes on Thor does learn to care for others he learns not to be in over his head and by the end of the film he does get to become worthy of his father and becomes King of Asgard. I also like how he doesn't turn Thor into a joke like the other Thor movies do because he never cracked any jokes in the comics and I think out of all the Thor films this one give use the perfect adaptation of Thor. I also like how he develops the character of Loki because Loki the character who is very interesting because he was jealous of his brother getting all the attention and after he with exiled Loki decide to take over Asgard and something I like that this film never really lets Loki be in the other MCU films is evil because Loki became more of a anti-hero and well that wasn't bad I actually liked it better when he was just pure evil and Loki in this film is pure evil so this film does give us a perfect interpretation of Loki From the comics. So overall I think he did a tremendous job directing this film I kind of wish he directed all the other Thor films that way all of them can be consistent like this one.

So in conclusion i still think this is one of the best Thor movies in the MCU because it takes the character Thor really seriously he doesn't crack a jokes and it does give him a really powerful emotional character because he starts out arrogant he is in over his head but at the film progresses he does learn how to be a hero he does become worthy of being ruler of Asgard as well as impressing his father Odin and I think that is the best thing about this movie is Thor's entire character and I think I have all the MCU Heroes he has either way the best one right up there with Iron Man's character as well. Also I think out of all the MCU movies this one has the best acting because all the performances are really good especially from Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hilton those two absolutely steal the show as thor and Loki because you can tell that they are having a lot of fun as these characters. To be honest I think this is one of the most underrated MCU films of all time because a lot of people say this one is very boring and not interesting but I always liked it I always found it fun and really entertaining. I also like a lot of the action secrets especially with that file battle on the bridge against Thor and Loki that is up there with the climax in Iron Man as one of the best MCU final battles. This is easily in my top 5 favorite MCU movies of all time. Not to mention this is a classic MCU film because of how memorable this film is In the MCU. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like Captain America the First Avenger with Chris Evans. Then I'm sure you're going to like this one as well. I give this movie a 10/10.
