Here is My Movie Review of Spider-Man Far From Home

Here's my movie  review of Spider-Man Far From Home.

The story takes place right after Avengers Endgame left off.  There is a new guy named Mysterio who wants to become the next Iron Man. It is up to Spider-Man to defeat Mysterio and save the world. That's basically what the story is for this movie.

The  acting in the movie is still Perfect to be honest out of all the three MCU Spider-Man movies is my favorite in terms of acting because every single actor in this film give that they're all and you can tell everyone is having fun at their characters.

Tom Holland plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in this film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What I like about Peter Parker / Spider-Man is just how well in the MCU has developed him Really well as a character because in Captain America Civil War he had to fight against team Captain America because of the Sachovia Accords. In Spider-Man Homecoming he had to learn to be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and take down the Vulture. In Avengers Infinity War he had to team up with the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy try to prevent Thanos from wiping out half of humanity The Infinity Gauntlet. In Avengers Endgame he had to watch mentor Tony Stark / Iron Man Sacrifice himself to kill Thanos. In this movie he has to deal with the grief of the loss of Tony Stark / Iron Man. I think it's interesting how the MCU has done that.

Samuel L Jackson plays Nick Fury In the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Nick Fury an awesome character that you can understand why he is so strict to Peter Parker /Spider-Man is because he doesn't want the mission to go wrong. Probably the best moment with Nick Fury is where he is questioning Peter Parker / Spider-Man if he attacked anyone with the drones and not only was it really intense but it made sense because he thinks that it was him that caused all the damages to the area but in reality it was Mysterio in the disguise. The Now let's talk about the twist in the film It is the dumbest thing in the entire MCU is that it wasn't Nick Fury it was Talos disguised himself as Nick Fury and the real Nick Fury was an outer space and it probably the worst scene in the entire film because there is no reason the Skrulls to be in the film. If you take them out of the movie just the same without them. The chemistry between him and Tom Holland is still excellent.

Jon Favreau play Happy Hogan in the film. I think he still did an excellent job as the character. What makes Happy Hogan Search an amazing character is that you can tell that he really care about Peter Parker / Spider-Man and he is trying to have them coping with the loss of Tony Stark/Iron Man. Probably the best moment with Happy Hogan is where he and Peter Parker/Spider-Man is on a plane and he's breaking down crying because he thought he can trust Mysterio but Mysterio betrayed him and now he is going to kill all of his friends and not only was it really emotional but it made sense because he didn't want all his friends to die. It is probably the saddest moment of the entire film.

Zendaya plays MJ In the film. I have to say she does a great job as the character. What I like about MJ in this film is that in Spider-Man Homecoming she didn't really seem to like him. But In this film she starts to like him and they start to bond and she wants to help Peter Parker / Spider-Man to take down Quentin Beck / Mysterio. Probably my favorite moment with MJ is where she figured that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and Peter Parker's reaction was not only funny but it made sense because he was surprised that someone figured out that he was Spider-Man. It is probably one of the funniest moments in the entire film.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Jake Gyllenhaal as Quentin Beck / Mysterio. What makes Mysterio such a great villain is that in the beginning of the movie he is this superhero and he stays that he is from a different earth and he also stays that his family was killed by the elementals. But it turns out all those statements were lies and he is revealed to be the main villain. The twist with Mysterio is still great. My favorite scene in the movie is Mysterio's monologue in the bar. Also Quentin Beck / Mysterio's motivation makes a lot of sense because he basically wants to prove that he is The greatest hero on earth so that is why he creates all these holographic illusions to make it look like cities are getting destroyed but in reality they're just illusions so he can prop himself up as a fake superhero and get a lot of attention. I still think Quentin Beck/ Mysterio is up there with With Sandman from Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man No Way home for be the most accurate to the comics. If Jake Gyllenhaal was cast in a non-MCU film I think he will make a really awesome Doctor Strange. Fun fact actors like Colin Farrell, Matt Damon, Bruce Campbell, Zachary Quinto, Matthew Smith, Matt Smith, Andrew Scott, Brad Garrett, and Idris Eiba were all considered to play Mysterio.

The directing. by John Watts. What I like about his directing is that he makes Spider-Man a more developed character because in Spider-Man Homecoming he was really funny. But in this movie he has to deal with the death of Tony Stark because he saw Tony Stark as a father like figure and a mentor and you see why Spider-Man is really depressed because he really misses him. I still think it is really cool how he did that.

So in conclusion I still think this is my second favorite Spider-Man movie. I also like how the story is that Spider-Man has to learn to move on and try to cope with the loss of his mentor Iron Man and that's probably the strongest aspect of the film. I still think Jake Gyllenhaal still does as astounding job as Quentin Beck/Mysterio. I still think this is in my top five favorite movies of 2019. I still think Quentin Beck / Mysterio is my favorite phase three villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I still think if you are a fan of Spider-Man No Way Home then I think you'll enjoy this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
