Here's my movie review of Spider-Man Far From Home.
So basically what happens is that it takes place after Avengers endgame left off you have Peter Parker / Spider-Man coping with the Lost of Iron Man but then he finds out that they're this guy named Quentin beck / Mysterio who Who tell them that they're these things called Elementals that he needs help to take down so Spider-Man decides to team up with Mysterio but then he find out he was just using him so he can have the glasses and control all his drones to set up a big Avengers level threat so he can see himself as a hero in the public eye so it's up to Peter Parker / Spider-Man to take down Mysterio and save the world and that's basically what the storyline is for the film and it is amazing because why I like about the storyline and the lot more personal because Spider-Man is coping with the Lost of Tony Stark / Iron Man and had to learn the power of great power comes great responsibility.
The acting in the movie is still Perfect to be honest out of all the three MCU Spider-Man movies is my favorite in terms of acting because every single actor in this film give that they're all and you can tell everyone is having fun at their characters.
Tom Holland plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in this film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What I like about Peter Parker / Spider-Man is just how well in the MCU has developed him Really well as a character because in Captain America Civil War he had to fight against team Captain America because of the Sachovia Accords. In Spider-Man Homecoming he had to learn to be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and take down the Vulture. In Avengers Infinity War he had to team up with the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy try to prevent Thanos from wiping out half of humanity The Infinity Gauntlet. In Avengers Endgame he had to watch mentor Tony Stark / Iron Man Sacrifice himself to kill Thanos. In this movie he has to deal with the grief of the loss of Tony Stark / Iron Man. I think it's interesting how the MCU has done that. The scenes of Peter Parker / Spider-Man are incredible weather it is him finding out that MJ knew that he was Spider-Man or him battling Mysterio it does lead to some really awesome and some really fun moments throughout the film. Also when Peter Parker breaks down crying that he screwed up it kind of reminded me of Dustin's mental breakdown and strained of things the piggyback where he had to say his final goodbyes to Eddie Munson and it's probably up there with that scene and one of the saddest moments of this film.
Samuel L Jackson plays Nick Fury In the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Nick Fury an awesome character that you can understand why he is so strict to Peter Parker /Spider-Man is because he doesn't want the mission to go wrong. Probably the best moment with Nick Fury is where he is questioning Peter Parker / Spider-Man if he attacked anyone with the drones and not only was it really intense but it made sense because he thinks that it was him that caused all the damages to the area but in reality it was Mysterio in the disguise. The Now let's talk about the twist in the film It is the dumbest thing in the entire MCU is that it wasn't Nick Fury it was Talos disguised himself as Nick Fury and the real Nick Fury was an outer space and it probably the worst scene in the entire film because there is no reason the Skrulls to be in the film. If you take them out of the movie just the same without them. The chemistry between him and Tom Holland is still excellent.
Jon Favreau play Happy Hogan in the film. I think he still did an excellent job as the character. What makes Happy Hogan Search an amazing character is that you can tell that he really care about Peter Parker / Spider-Man and he is trying to have them coping with the loss of Tony Stark/Iron Man. Probably the best moment with Happy Hogan is where he and Peter Parker/Spider-Man is on a plane and he's breaking down crying because he thought he can trust Mysterio but Mysterio betrayed him and now he is going to kill all of his friends and not only was it really emotional but it made sense because he didn't want all his friends to die. It is probably the saddest moment of the entire film.
Zendaya plays MJ In the film. I have to say she does a great job as the character. What I like about MJ in this film is that in Spider-Man Homecoming she didn't really seem to like him. But In this film she starts to like him and they start to bond and she wants to help Peter Parker / Spider-Man to take down Quentin Beck / Mysterio. Probably my favorite moment with MJ is where she figured that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and Peter Parker's reaction was not only funny but it made sense because he was surprised that someone figured out that he was Spider-Man. It is probably one of the funniest moments in the entire film.
However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Jake Gyllenhaal as Quentin Beck / Mysterio. Now out of all the characters in this film Quentin Beck/ Mysterio is probably my favorite character of the entire film because this is a guy who wants to prompt himself up at this fake superhero to get all this attention and his motivations of doing this is because he wants to Show the world that he is the greatest hero on Earth so people Give him all this love and attention saying that he is a better hero than Spider-Man. Now there are so many memorable moments with Mysterio in particularly The bar scene where he gives that awesome monologue which I know a lot of people say it was filler. But I didn't really hate it it's always been one of my favorite moments in the film Also the illusion scenes especially are probably some of the most trippy moments in the entire MCU and it really reminds me of the themes in Inception where Don Cobb And his team are in the dream and the building start moving around and it was really tripping and the same thing can apply to the emergency scenes in this film it does lead to some really fun and entertaining moments In the film. I still think Mysterio is up there with Justin Hammer as one of the most entertaining and fun villains in the MCU. Fun fact actors like Colin Farrell, Matt Damon, Bruce Campbell, Zachary Quinto, Matthew Smith, John C Riley, Keanu Reeves, Hugh Jackman, Hugh Lorie, Tom Hiddleston, Ryan Gosling, Seth Rogen, Javier Bardem, James Franco, Ewan McGregor, Jason Sudeikis Nicole Coster-Waldau, Christoph Waltz Jim Carrey, Adam Driver, Ethan Hawke, Paul Rudd, Matthew McConaughey, Joaquin Phoenix, Ben Mendelsohn, Ryan Reynolds, Matthew Goode, Oscar Isaac, Tom Cruise, Bradley Cooper, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Andrew Scott, Brad Garrett, and Idris Eiba were all considered to play Mysterio.
The directing by John Watts Is perfect in fact out of all the Spider-Man MC film that he directed this is probably his best directed film because why I like about his directed that he does a tremendous job of giving Pier Parker / Spider-Man a really powerful and emotional character because he has to cope with the loss of Iron Man well trying to learn with great power since great responsibility and trying to find who should be the next Iron Man and I think that concept Works perfectly I think he executed it really well along with making Wisteria that's really fun and really entertained going in I didn't mind that He changed his origin because Mysterio had a character is relatively the same he loves getting attention he the con artist he tricks people he manipulate them. Also the twist reveal what they do In the first half of the film was executed really well. I like all the emotional stuff he does with Spider-Man as well as all the entertained stuff he does with Mysterio. The overall I think he did a perfect job directing this film
So in conclusion i still really like this movie in fact out of all the MCU Spider-Man movies this one is probably my favorite because it had the best storyline of Peter Parker / Spider-Man trying to cope with the Lost of Iron Man and trying to figure out who need to be the next Iron Man And him Ally himself with Mysterio until Mysterio betray them and he has to take down Mysterio and learn with great power comes great responsibility Well starting a relationship with MJ. It'll really interesting storyline and the film executes it perfectly. The performances are tremendous Tom Holland is still Incredible ass Spider-Man and out of all the actors who have played Spider-Man he is my favorite out of all them. But the truth stand out of this movie is Jake Gyllenhaal As Mysterio because he is probably my favorite MCU villain performance in fact I will put him up there with David Tennant as Kilgrave, Jeff Bridges as Iron Monger And Michael Keaton as Vulture as one of my favorite super villain performances of all time. I still think this is in my top five favorite movies of 2019 I highly recommend you watching this film especially if you enjoy filmed with really awesome villain performances like X2 X-Men United with Brian Cox. Then you won't be disappointed by this film. I give this film a 10/10.
