Here is my movie review of X-Men the Last Stand.
So basically what the Pilot is you basically have this cure that can cure mutants and than you have Magento and the Brotherhood of evil mutants and they want to kill all the humans so the mutants could be the dominant race and than Jean Grey tie into the dark Phoenix and that's basically what the story for this movie.
The acting is still pretty good for the most part except for one performance.
James Marsden as Scott Summers/Cyclops I still think he did a good job as this character. But the problem is he almost has nothing to do in this movie because they kill him off in the first 20 minutes of the film.
Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine I still think he does an amazing job as this character. I still think he's really funny and really smart and really Comic book accurate.
Famke Janssen as Jean Grey/dark Phoenix I still think she does a good job as this character. I still think she is still sympathetic. But the problem is she just stands there and does nothing throughout the movie.
Ian McKellen as Erik lehnsherr/Magneto I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is a great villain. But the problem is that they make him funny in this movie now it worked a lot better in X2 X-Men United because he only made two jokes. But in this movie he makes chess puns and while they are not as bad as the Ice Puns in Batman and Robin. I still think it's kind of dumb for him to joke around in this movie because Magneto is supposed to be serious. The scene where Erik says Charles I cannot stop laughing of how dumb The line was I think he should´ve said it in a sad voice then maybe the scene would be more emotional instead of laughable. Another thing I didn't like about Magneto is that he ditches Mystique in this movie because I thought it was out of character.
Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier I still think he does a good job as this character the problem and that they kill him off in the way that he died is kind of dumb the way they kill him off in this movie is that he levitas out of wheelchair and he has a psycho battle with Jean Grey and then the house starts floating in the sky which was really cheesy and really dumb. I mean they have a good funeral for both him and cyclops.
Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Henry Hank McCoy/Beast I still think he does a great job as this character. I still think he is really comic book accurate. I still think he is really smart. The chemistry between him and Hugh Jackman is still great. I think Kelsey Grammer is up there much like Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man as one of the best superhero performances
Shawn Ashmore as Bobby Drake/Iceman I still think he does a great job and this character. I still think he is really sympathetic. I still think he is comic book accurate.
Rebecca Romijn as Raven Darkholme/Mystique I still think she does a good job as this character. but the problem is that she is completely wasted. She almost has nothing to do in this whole movie.
Vivian Jones´s portrayal of the juggernaut is so laughably bad that it is actually good. If you want to talk about the dumbest lines for an X-Men movie it is none other than when Juggernaut says don't you know who I am I'm the Juggernaut bitch.¨ and it is probably the most unintentionally funny scene in an X-Men movie.
The directing by Brett Rather. I still think he did´t do a good job directing this movie because it is still a mess of a movie.
So in conclusion I don't think this is the worst X-Men movie because I still think that the movie X-Men Apocalypse in the world is worse than this one. I'll say this for everything it gets wrong because trust me this movie does get a lot wrong It's surprising to get a couple things right. for example the beast in this movie is pretty accurate to the cartoons and the comic books. I still think Kelsey Grammer is probably the best thing in this movie. I give this movie 6/10.
