Here Is My Movie Review of Ant-Man and The Wasp

Here My  Movie Review of Ant-Man the Wasp

So basically what happens is that it takes place a year after a Captain America Civil War and you have Scotland / Ant-Man being put on house arrest for violation of the Sachovia accords. But as he is enjoying his 2 days on house arrest He starts having flashbacks of the quantum realm from the first film and he starts seeing Hope's Mother Janet Van Dyne so he decides to try to help Hope Van Dyne And Hank Pym get Janet Van Dyne out of the Quantum Realm so she could be reunited with her husband and daughter. But then you have Ava Star/Ghost who wants to absorb the quantum realm energy from Jam Van Dyne so she could be cured of her Phasing condition. So it is up to Scott Lang/Atman and Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp to take down Ava Starr/Ghost and get Janet Van Dyne out of the quantum and that is basically what the story is for the film.

the acting in this movie even better than was in the first film because in the first film I still think everyone did a great job as the characters but I think in this film they improved upon what they did in the first film and made it a lot better.

Paul Rudd plays Scott Lang/Ant-Man In this film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Scott Lang / Ant-Man An amazing character is that all he wants to do is to help Hank Pym and Hope Van Dyne Janet Van Dyne out of the quantum realm. Probably the best scene with Scott Lang / Ant-Man Is when during the car chase he Tells Hope Van Dyne to To relax because he hasn't drove interiors not only was it funny but it makes sense because he has been on house arrest for 2 years. The chemistry between him and Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, David Dastmalchian, Abby Ryder Fortson, Michael Douglas, and Hannah john-kamen is still remarkable.

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne. Now well I still like her in the first Ant-Man film I have to say I think she's even better in this film than she was in that film because in this film she has a lot more to do In this film, because all she wanted to do is to be reunited with her mother Janet Van Dyne and got her out of the quantum realm. Also the romance between Her and Scott Lane / Ant-Man Is a lot more stronger than it was in the first film. Probably The best with Hope Van Dyne / The Wasp is when she is finally reigned with her mother Janet Van Dyne and it is probably one of the most emotional scenes in the entire film. The chemistry between her and Paul Rudd is still fantastic.

Michael Pena  plays Luis In this film. I have to say he still does an excellent job as the character. Now well I like him in the first film. I have to say even better in this movie than he was in the first film because in this film he had a lot more to do in the film. What makes Luis Search an awesome character is that he wants to help Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Hump Van Dyne / the Wasp, and Hank Pym get Janet Van Dyne out of the Quantum Realm. Probably in the best moment with Luis is where he is given truth serum by Sonny Burch In order to tell him where Scott Lane / Ant-Man is but instead Louis decide to tell him a really long story about how he met Scott Lang and Sonny Brunch is trying to tell Luis to tell him where Scott Lang / Antman and not only was it really funny but it made sense because Sonny Brunch wanted Louis to tell him where Scott Lane / Ant-Man is. The chemistry between him and Paul Rudd is excellent.

David Dastmalchian plays Kurt In the film. I have to say he still does an amazing job as the character. Now well I liked Kurt in the first film. But I have to say he is even more funny and entertaining in this film. What makes Kurt such really awesome is that much like the rest of the characters he also wants to help Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Hope Van Dyne / The Wasp, Louis get Janet Van Dyne out of the Quantum Realm. Probably my favorite moment with Kurt is what he mentions Baba Yaga and he is really scared of it. Not only was it funny but it makes sense because in the film Kurt is a little more cowardly than he was in the first film Fun fact they also brought back that moment in Marvel's What If...? with David Dastmalchian reprises his role as Kurt in that show. The chemistry between him and Paul Rudd is incredible.

Michael Douglas plays Hank Pym In the film. I have to say I liked him in the first film but I think he's even better in this film because he wants to be reunited with his wife Janet Van Dyne and he'll do everything and his power to bring his family back together. Probably the best moment with Hank Pym is when he has finally reunited with his wife Janet Van Dyne and not only was it really emotional But it made sense because he really missed spending time with her. Also the relationship between Hank Pym and his daughter Hope Van Dyne / The Wasp is even stronger in this film Then it was in the first film. The chemistry between him and Paul ride is still really Spectacular.

Abby Ryder Fortson plays Scott Lang / Antman's daughter Cassie Lang In the film. Now well I like her in the first film. But I have to say she is even better that she was in that film because this film she has a lot more to do because she wants her dad to help Hope Van Dyne to be reunited with her mother Janet Van Dyne. Probably the best moment with Cassie Lang is when she tells her dad that he needs a partner to help him saving the world and she wanted to be his partner but he wouldn't let her because he didn't want her to get hurt. Not only was it emotional but it made sense because she really wanted to help her dad save the world. Also the bonding between her and her dad is even better and much stronger than was in the first film. Also the monologue between her and Scott Lang is probably one of the best hero speeches in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The chemistry between her and Paul Rudd is still astounding.

Hannah John-kamen  plays Ava Star / Ghost In the film. I have to say she does a magnificent job as the character. What makes Ava start/Ghost such a sympathetic villain Is that she didn't try to kill anybody all she wants is to be cured from her Phasing condition. I also like the backstory to Ava Star/Ghost  because when she was young Her father Alliance star was killed in a Quantum Realm experiment and she was trying to save him but she got caught in the blast and that is how she got her phasing  abilities.  Not only was it really sad but it made sense because she had to watch her father die in front of her. I still think Ava Star / Ghost is probably up there with M.O.D.O.K from Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantum Mania as one of the most underrated Marvel Cinematic Universe villains. The rivalry between her and Scott Lang / Ant-Man is still really incredible.  The chemistry between her and Paul Rudd is really astounding.

Fun fact the original post credit scene was going to introduce Shang Chi. But the studio scrapped the idea and decide to wait until Marvel Studios phase 4 to give him his own movie. Also originally Payton Reed wanted Captain America make appearance in this movie. When Luis recapping the events of Captain America Civil War.

The directing  by Peyton Reed What I like about his directing is That he really develops the romance between Scott Lang/ Ant-Man/Hope Van Dyne/The wasp in this movie extremely well because in the first film she didn't really like him but she started to like him at the film goes on and in this film they become and love with each other. I also like how they further develop Scott Lang/Ant-Man because in the first film he had to learn how to be a hero and in this movie he has to help help Hope Van Dyne and Hank Pym get Janet Van Dyne out of the quarter round so hang him and help Van Dyne can be back together with her. I think it is really tremendous how he did that.

So in conclusion I still think this is the most underrated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. I still think this is the funniest movie out of the Ant-Man Trilogy. But I like how the film further develops the characters. I also like that it develops the father-daughter relationship between Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Cassie in the film. I also like how Hope Van Dyne and Hank Pym have a lot more to do in the film than they did in the first film because all they want to do is to be reunited with Janet Van Dyne. This is still in my top 5 best movies of 2018. I think if you enjoy the first movie then you'll definitely like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
