Here is My Movie Review of X-Men Apocalypse.

Here is my Movie Review of X-Men Apocalypse.

So basically  what happens is that You have Magneto bonding with his wife and daughter. But then a police officer gunned down Magneto's wife and daughter. Now he wants revenge on the humans who took his family away from him. Then you have this mutant Apocalypse who wants to get into the mind of Charles Xavier and wants to get his telepathic abilities in order to become the most powerful mutant. It is up to the X-Men to take down Apocalypse. That is basically what the story is for this mass of a movie.

Now The acting In this movie could have been really good if it had a good script and I think that the problem with these newer X-Men movies they have good actors but they don't really give them good lines of dialogue to say they give them really dumb dialogue.

James McAvoy is still decent as Charles Xavier Because even parts were this movie is not working James McAvoy is still entertaining at the character. Now Charles Xavier out of the character is not as dumb as in dark Phoenix because in that film that kind of them which was so dumb and this film he's just kind of boring because well there's some interesting ideas with him and there are some standout moments like the stuff with him and Magneto and I will admit the final battle weighs facing off against apocalypse and his mind is a good idea in concept and there's some good ideas that go with it it just failed and execution.

Now the only good performance of this entire film is Michael Fassbender as Magneto because even in parts where this movie is absolute garbage. Fassbender still gives a good performance in fact I will say that he's the only actor that is actually having fun in this film. Now well I did say that Michael Fassbender is really great as Magneto. Now the character of Magneto that is a different story because this movie they make Magneto really stupid because he teams up with Apocalypse even though in the comics he hates Apocalypse he'll never team up with him he always fights against him to protect mutants and this one gets to go the long with Apocalypse because the movie wanted him to be evil For no reason. Now I will admit you do feel bad for Magneto because he lost his family and now staying with his wife and daughter is the best thing in this entire movie. But let's get the worst thing with Magneto and I will say it is dumber than the scene in X3 where Magneto screams Charles and that is Magneto saying the word fuck and I don't know why they have Magneto say it because Magneto never said a bad word in the comics but for some reason they say oh Deadpool came out so let's have another mutant us foul language and it's so weird and out of character it felt like a really bad joke from an early 2000s comic book film. The chemistry between him and James McAvoy is decent because when the film focuses around them it's not too bad but it doesn't hide the fact that their dialogue is not really good.

Selfie Turner is still awful as Jean Gray. I didn't really care for Jean Green in this movie and she just feels really bored in this movie. I really wish that they got the original actress back for Jean Gray Famke Janssen. I think that would have been a way better choice and He seemed interested in coming back. Fun fact Famke Janssen wanted to come back as Jean Gray but the studio said she's too old and she said that it was against them to replace her. I think if she came back and play the character of Jean Gray it would have made the film a lot better and more watchable.  The chemistry between her and James McAvoy is not believable. I think the chemistry between   Famke Janssen and Patrick Stewart is a lot more believable.

Tye Sharon plays Cyclops in the film and his performance it just comes off really flat. In fact i would say that this is probably Ty Shannon's worst performance because it doesn't really emote in the film and what's really sad is that he had a great actor I liked him in Ray player 1 and Wade but we watch him in the vaccine movies you can't help to think i don't think he's really into doing these films and I mean as much as I didn't like Jame Marsden at Cyclops I would argue that one slightly more developed and a lot more interesting. Then this interpretation of the character.

Now well I do say that the acting is bad. That is nothing to the absolute worst performance in the entire X-Men movie franchise and that performance is Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse because he's just over the top and silly. But there are moments Oscar Isaac does come off very intimidating is trying to give a good performance but he's just miscast I just think that this drug tested like idris Elba or Gary Oldman because as miscast as that would be I think Gary Oldman would have made a lot more sense because he has played a lot villains and I think Gary Oldman can make Apocalypse more scary. Now the character of apocalypse it's just really weird because he is accurate to the comics in terms of the design. But the problem is he's not big enough even when they do make him big in the climax he's still not gigantic and in terms of his personality they kind of make apocalypse really dumb like there's moments of him being smart but in the comics and in the X-Men anime series he's very intelligent find this film that kind of dumb him down. Now is he the worst villain of 2016? No, that honor goes to Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther in Batman versus Superman Dawn of Justice. But the performance is really cheesy because  Oscar Isaac goes way too over the top and is just really cringe worthy. But I would say this as much as I hate this performance. It is a masterpiece compared to Jesse Eisenberg's performance as Lex Luther in Batman versus Superman: Dawn Justice. Probably the dumbest scene is where Apocalypse is making a speech and he's screaming a lot. It is probably the most unintentionally funniest scene in this entire movie. Now there is one moment that I actually don't really hate and that had the scene where him and Charles Xavier are Fighting Inside of his mind in the astral plane and I do like that idea the idea of having it take place in inside of Charles's mind But the problem is they don't really do a lot with it they do some stuff with that but it failed and execution. Also Not even the makeup and the prosthesis look good because it looks like something out of Batman and Robin that's how bad the makeup and prosthesis are for Apocalypse. Also in this movie for some weird reason Apocalypse doesn't really have four horsemen like he does in the comics because in this movie they decide to make Storm and Magneto as his horsemen. I'm going to say that this is without a doubt Oscar Isaac's worst performance he has ever done, and what really disappointing is because Oscar Isaac is a really great actor. But luckily he redeemed himself by playing Moon-Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fun fact actors like Tom Hardy, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Nicolas Cage, Dwayne Johnson, Liam Neeson, Samuel L Jackson, Mads Mikkelsen, Ron Perlman, Edgar Ramirez, Liam Neeson, Antonio Banderas, Jason Momoa, Michael Fassbender, Sean Bean, Matthew McConaughey, Javier Bardem, Viggo Mortensen, David Oylowo, Mel Gibson, and Idris Elba were considered to play Apocalypse.

Now you think that since the film is directed by Brian Singer you think I like this movie.  Well I'm sorry to  say this is probably his worst directed X-Men movie he has ever directed because it feels like he doesn't know what the X-Men are anymore because at least in the first two X-Men movies were released back in the 2000s the stuff he put in the film were all accurate to the comics. But in this one he barely made anything accurate to the comics and everything a mess because he thinks Apocalypse sounding like Nicolas Cage is entertaining but it's really not. What's really strange is that this is the same guy who directed X-Men and X2 X-Men united and those films were way more entertaining than this waste of entertainment.

The special effects in this movie are the worst special effects I have ever seen in an X-Men movie. Yes I said I think the effects in this movie are worse than X-Men Origins Wolverine because they live with that movie the special effects were bad but you could tell the filmmakers were actually trying to make a decent  X-Men. The budget of this movie is 178 million dollars. But the budget feels like $9.00.

So in conclusion i still did not like this film I think it's boring the storyline is just not that interesting because nothing much really happens because this film just dragged along until it gets to the end credits that's how I can summarize the story it's just filler. The performance that are also bad because most of the actor just feel like they don't really give a shit the only one I sort of liked was Michael Fassbender because he had the only actor that was actually trying to give a good performance he just The really horrible writing and the dialogue but I think overall he did the best he could as Magneto. Also Apocalypse as a villain is just not that interesting what are the worst comic to movie adaptations of all time because apocalypse's just really badly written and they're like scenes of him like screaming at the top of his lungs and that scene where he is giving this religious speech and it's supposed to be a serious moment but due to Oscar Isaac's awful performance it comes off as laughable and silly. Now the climax in this film was a interesting idea this idea that it takes place inside of Charles's mind And some of it does work but it's just kind of disappointing because they don't do a lot with it now I will say the file battle in this film is a lot better than the file battle in Madame Web. Not to mention this is one of my least favorite X-Men films all time because again nothing much happens. This is easily in my top five worst films of 2016. I say just skip this movie go watch Deadpool and Wolverine it's a lot more funnier and the storyline is way better. I give this movie a 3/10.

Here is my Movie idea for Suicide Squad Sequel the rise of Brainiac.

Here is my Movie idea for a suicide Squad sequel the rise of Brainiac Note this movie will be canon to the Suicide Squad movie. Not the 2016 Suicide Squad movie.

So what will happen is that it would take place a few years after the Suicide Squad left off. So you have Amanda Waller who is assembling a new team of villains and she tells them to take down the Galactic threat known as Brainiac. That would basically be the story for the movie.

The main leader of the team in this movie would be Deadshot, played by Ryan Gosling. I think he will make a terrific choice as Deadshot because if you've seen him in the Blade Runner movies. He plays the character of Officer K. He is really tough in the movies. Also this will be a massive improvement over the Deadshot from the disaster of  Suicide Squad 2016.

The next character that would be on the team would be Captain Boomerang play by the legendary Hugh Jackman. I think this will make way more sense than Jai Courtney because Hugh Jackman is actually Australian just like the character is in the comics. Also you can make Captain Boomerang in the movie very misogynist and an asshole like how he is in the Suicide Squad Hell to pay movie.

The next character I would want on the team is Harley Quinn. I would like to have Margot Robbie reprising her role as this character. I will like a scene where she and Captain Boomerang are bonding in the film.

Of course you can't have a Suicide Squad team without the main alpha Amanda Waller play by Viola Davis. Now I will want Amanda Waller to act just like how she did in the The Suicide Squad. A cold-hearted bitch that takes no crap from anybody. Also like in the 2021 movie you can have Amanda Waller threatening to blow up the Suicide Squad if they don't follow her instructions in the third act of the film.

I think the twist villain should be Lady Shiva Play by Awkwafina. I would like to see her play an actual villain in a movie. Also She would start out as a member of the Suicide Squad but then towards the third act she'll reveal that she's working for Ras Al Ghul and the League of Shadows.

Another character that I would like to have on the Suicide Squad would be the Bronze Tiger play by Michael B Jordan. Also much like Lady Shiva he would pretend to be with the Suicide Squad. But then he'll betray the team and work for Lady Shiva and the League of Assassins. That way you can set up an League of a assassins movie with a post-credit scene in the film.

I think for a silly villain on the team. I would like to have Nicolas Cage as the Ten Eye Man. Also you can have a funny scene like with Captain Boomerang making fun of Ten Eye Man´s ability. He doesn't need to have that much screen time He can be like at the beginning and then Amanda Waller blows his head off with the bomb planted in his neck.

I think another silly villain should be on the team. But he'll be a little more serious. But still hilarious. I would like to have Paul Rudd as Kite Man. You can have a scene where Captain Boomer makes fun of Kite Man just because he's wearing a kite on his back. Also you can give Kite Man a tragic origin just like what they did with Polka Mot Man in the Suicide Squad.

The final teammate on the Suicide Squad would be Ventriloquist and Scarface Play by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. I think these two will make great choices because you can have Matt Stone play Arnold Weaker in the film by using his Butters voice. You can have Trey Parker play Scarface by using his Cartman voice in the film. Also it'll be just like the TV show because Cartman manipulates Butters in a lot of episodes and Butters in the innocent one and Carmen is the evil one.

I think the main villain of the film should be Brainiac voiced by the phenomenal David Tennant. Basically Brainiac ´ s motivation is that he wants to shrink The state of New York City down and add to his collection of famous monuments. Also it would be really cool to hear David Tennant's voice come out of Brainiac ´ s mouth.

The directing Should be done by James Gunn just like how he directed the Suicide Squad. Also you can have a really funny scene like Captain Boomerang making fun of Kite Man. But then you'll have a really dark scene like Lady Shiva joining Bronze Tiger and the League of Shadows in the third act basically betraying the team. Also you can have a really gruesome scene like Brainiac killing Kite Man with a laser from his machine.

I think the rating for this movie should be rated R for drug use, very strong language, and strong bloody violence throughout. Just like The Suicide Squad. I think the end credits songs for this movie should be Shape of You.  Another song would be Get Into the Groove. The runtime of the movie would be 2h 56 minutes.

Here is My Movie Review of Suicide Squad

Here is My Movie Review of Suicide Squad

Now the storyline in this movie is really bad because not only that not entertaining but i'm going to say this this is a rip off to Thunderbolts* because of that film you had villains and anti-heroes Working together to take down a bigger threat and in this movie they tried to do it and it does not work because all the characters are not memorable they're just really boring And just not that interesting and The recruited from Amanda Waller to take down the Enchantress and that's it that the story And I didn't really care about it because Thunderbolts did better because you had them caring for this guy named Bob who at first they didn't like but after they learned how much trauma He went through The eventually start to like him and They become his friends. But with this storyline i didn't care about it because all the characters are boring.

The acting in this movie and really bad because it felt like a lot of the actors weren't giving ever any effort in there performances aside from two performance and that were very much decent and entertaining also I think this film has worth acting than Green Lantern 2011 because as much I did not like that film at least with that one that were a few mediocre to okay performances like the actors were trying. But with this film there was barely any good performances whatsoever

Will Smith as Deadshot. I still think he does an awful job as this character. The problem is that they make Deadshot way too nice and that's not what Deadshot is supposed to be. He's supposed to be ruthless and a contract killer with no good in his body. Also the chemistry that Deadshot had with his daughter just  was not believable and felt kind of forced. I also feel like the movie was trying to copy Ant-Man because in that movie Scott Lang wants to spend more time with his daughter Cassie Lang and I felt more of a connection with Scoot Lang and Cassie Lang in that movie. Then I did with Deadshot and Zoe in this movie. The chemistry between Will Smith and Shailyn Pierre was also not really believable. I think the chemistry between Paul Rudd and Abby Ryan Fortson in the Ant-Man movies was more believable because I actually bought their chemistry throughout the films. I think they should have gotten another actor to play Deadshot in this movie like Ryan Gosling or Johnny Depp because both of them could have done a far superior job as this character than Will Smith.  The chemistry between him and Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, and Jared Leto Is okay the actors work well with each other. Fun fact actors like Keanu Reeves, Ewen McGregor, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joel Kinnaman, Jason Statham, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Robert Pattinson, Alexander Skarsgard, John Hamm, Ben Barnes, Bradley Cooper, Pedro Pascal, Kit Harrington, Nick Wechsler, Alden Ehrenreich, Daniel Craig, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, and Michael Fassbender were all considered to play Deadshot.

Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. I still think he does a really bad job as this character. Much like Deadshot they make  Captain Boomerang really nice and that's not how Captain Boomerang is supposed to be. Captain Boomerang needs to be misogynist, racist, sexist, and narcissistic. But in this film they make him family friendly which that was really dumb because Captain Boomerang is supposed to be unlikable like he is in the comics. Also the way Jai Courtney tries to sound Australian comes off as really strange because he is not Australian he is American. I think what they should have done is to cast Hugh Jackman as Captain Boomerang because Hugh Jackman himself is actually Australian. Fun fact actors like Luke Evans,Tom Hardy, Zachary Levi, Ryan Reynolds, Joel Edgerton We're all considered to play Captain Boomerang.

Joel Kinnermin as Rick Flag is really wasted he doesn't really do much and he doesn't really have much of a personality Although the romance between him and the enchantress was so dumb and weird as fuck that I didn't buy their chemistry at all. But luckily in the Suicide Squad he actually has a lot more to do and he has more of a personality and he actually funny. Burn this film he's not really a character if you think about it he's just there to give exposition. Now the movie does try to make you care about Rick Flag. But you simply do not because of how boring he is. Fun fact actors Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hardy, Mark Wahlberg, Luke Evans, Jason Clark, James Marsden, Karl Urban, Tom Cruise, John Barthal, Joel Edgerton, and Bradley Cooper were all considered to play Rick Flag.

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn is probably the best thing about this movie. Well I didn't find her funny. At least she was entertaining to watch because even though this movie is really bad Margot Robbie made the film somewhat tolerable. But it does it doesn't change the fact that her dialogue is shit.  Fun fact actresses like Olivia Thirlby, Imogen Poots, Alison Brie, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard, Emma Watson, Emily Browning, Skyler Shaye, Peyton List, Zooey Deschanel, Nicole Gale Anderson, Lily Collins, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Sara Paxton, Nathalia Ramos, Amanda Seyfrird, and Evan Rachel Wood were all considered to play Harley Quinn.

Viola Davis plays Amanda Waller In the film. I still think she does a terrific job as this character even in parts where this film is very much unbearable to watch she somehow gives a very entertainingly awesome performance. Also the character of Amanda Waller is the only character in the film that it got right because in the comics she is very strict and in this film she's a little bit strict but I felt like she was a little tone down in the film That's not the fault of viola Davis It's mostly the writing and the screenplay but luckily in the 2021 movie she was a lot more strict and a lot more abusive towards the team just like how she is in the comics.  Fun fact actresses like Oprah Winfrey, Vioval Davis, Octavia Spencer, and Kerry Washington were considered to play Amanda Waller.

Jared Leto as The Joker is probably the worst thing in this movie by far because he is not really intimidating he's just really cringe-worthy and really unwatchable. Also his jokes were not really funny even the way he said them. I just face  palmed at every joke he said. I think it would have to be better if they got Mark Hamill to play the Joker in this movie. That way it'll be more entertaining and he'll actually be funny in this movie.  Also the way that the Joker had feelings for Harley Quinn that's not how their relationship is supposed to work The Joker is supposed to abuse Harley Quinn. Fun fact actors like Ryan Gosling, Matt Smith, Sharito Copley, Steve Carell, Frank Sinatra, Sam Rockwell, Sean Penn, Christian Glover, Leonardo DiCaprio, Vincent Cassei, Johnny Depp, Cillian Murphy, Adrian Brody, Harrison Ford Joaquin Phoenix, Lachy Hulme, Ray Liotta, David Bowie, Christopher Walken, James Woods, John Lithgrow, Tom Hiddleston, Brad Dourif, Tim Curry, Paul Bettany, Willem Dafoe, and Mark Strong were all considered to play the Joker.

Cara Delevungne as The Enchantress. I still think she does an awful job as this character. I still think she is one of the most boring DCEU villains ever. Also her motivation is cliche she wants to have the entire world into darkness which is just really stupid. Also her character is all wrong she's supposed to fight with the Suicide Squad not against them. Now is this the worst DCEU villain? No but it is probably the second worst because Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor  from Batman Versus Superman is still the worst DCEU villain ever. Fun fact actresses like Brie Larson, Elliot Page, Megan Fox, Alexandra Daddario, Emma Stone, Allcia Vikander, Shailene Woodley, Emilla Clarke, and Krysten Ritter were all considered to play The Enchantress.

The directing by David Ayer is still garbage because he tries to make this movie like Guardians of the Galaxy with all the characters and the soundtrack. The only difference being is that the soundtrack  in Guardians of the Galaxy was a lot better and the characters were more memorable. You also got the character of dead shot wrong because in the comics he's supposed to be very ruthless and not sympathetic but in this film he makes him way too much down to earth and sympathetic I think it was a terrible idea of the way he did that It feels like he's trying to make this movie like Ant-Man with the humor but the humor does not work and the humor in Ant-Man does work because the jokes are funny while the jokes in this movie are just friendly and very terribly written

So in conclusion i still hate this movie because it's not entertaining and it's really cringe worthy to watch because of the horrible dialogue in it. The only thing that I liked was Margo Robbie as Harley Quinn and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller those two performances were the only things I did not hate in the film. But haven't said that the writing for their characters is not that good. But luckily in the suicide Squad from 2021 they are a lot better written in that film. But aside from those two performances most of the other performances were really bad Will Smith is miss cast of Deadshot because they should have went with someone like Keanu Reeves or Michael Fassbender Those two actors would have ben better. Not to mention Deadshot´s character Arc in this film it's just a rip-off to Ant-Man's character Arc in the first Ant-Man film because in that film Scott Lang want to leave his criminal life behind and become a hero so he can spend more time with his daughter and it worked in that film because the film did a tremendous job and make you care for Scott Lang as the character because Paul Rudd managed to be both funny and emotional with his character and that's why he's one of my favorite performances in the MCU. But with Deadshot I can give less of a fuck about his character because he's so fucking boring. To be honest in the worlds of Christian Bale The second that this movie don't give a fuck of white wants to be. Also no I'm not kidding about that last part because it's true this movie did not understand what the fuck it wants to be half of it want to be Heat with Robert De Niro because it's a crime film. But the other fucking half is trying to be like Thunderbolts in the sense that all these characters are lonely and depressed and they crack jokes. The difference is that those two movies are more entertaining and have much better writing. You know after watching Thunderbolts* I fucking hate this movie even more now because Thunderbolts* is a film I really like because it was funny and it was really emotional with all the characters and it actually made me care for character that I didn't really care about like Yelena because I thought she was really dull in Black Widow. But in Thunderbolts* she was amazing. I also enjoyed Bob as a character because he was the heart and soul of the film. To be honest I'll take the fucking Shadow entity AKA The Void over fucking Enchantress because he's a better villain because he is threatening and he's memorable. To be awesome I'll take the giant starfish from The Suicide Squad because Staro was always sympathetic and interesting. Also Jared Leto is a horrible Joker because he's really over the top and cringe worthy he's not funny. Also he just tried to be like Kilgrave from Jessica Jones the difference is when Kilgrave is being a creepy stalker it works. But when Joker does it. It is fucking stupid. That's how unfunny the Joker is in this piece of shit. Not to mention the humor was so stupid there's nothing funny in this film especially that one lion dialogue where Deadshot says what are we some kind of suicide Squad. To be honest I think this movie has worst humor than an MCU movie because even though some of the jokes in the MCU are not funny. They weren't nearly as cringe worthy or stupid as the jokes in this film. Also again the Joker is not fucking funny he's fucking weird. You know I don't care if I say this. But I would Rather watch Ke Huy Quan as The Leader in Captain America Brave New World screaming at Present Ross over the phone saying you cheat Dr Jones!. At least I can laugh at that because you get to have Short Round messing with Indiana Jones's mind trying to get him to turn into the Red Hulk. Also you finally get to see him as the villain. Also you can laugh at it because of how over the top and silly it would be. Not the fucking stupid jokes in this movie though. This is definitely in my top 5 worst comic book films of all time it's that bad. So overall I say skip this movie go watch Thunderbolts go watch The Suicide Squad from 2021 or even go watch Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with Ke Huy Quan at least those movies are funny and entertaining. I give this movie a 0/10.
