Here is My Movie Review of X-Men Apocalypse.

Here is my Movie Review of X-Men Apocalypse.

So basically  what happens is that You have Magneto bonding with his wife and daughter. But then a police officer gunned down Magneto's wife and daughter. Now he wants revenge on the humans who took his family away from him. Then you have this mutant Apocalypse who wants to get into the mind of Charles Xavier and wants to get his telepathic abilities in order to become the most powerful mutant. It is up to the X-Men to take down Apocalypse. That is basically what the story is for this mass of a movie.

The acting in this movie is awful. Except for two performances.

James McAvoy is still decent as Charles Xavier. I still think the relationship between him and Magneto is probably one of the best things about this movie. The chemistry between him and Michael Fassbender is still great.

Michael Fassbender still does an excellent job as Magneto. In this movie. You really feel bad for him because his family got brutally killed by a police officer and you can understand why he'll team up with Apocalypse. I still think it feels forced. The chemistry between him and James McAvoy is still great. I would say Michael Fassbender is the saving grace in this movie. He is one of the best things in this film.

Selfie Turner is still awful as Jean Gray. I didn't really care for Jean Green in this movie and she just feels really bored in this movie. I really wish that they got the original actress back for Jean Gray Famke Janssen. I think that would have been a way better choice and He seemed interested in coming back. Fun fact Famke Janssen wanted to come back as Jean Gray but the studio said she's too old and she said that it was against them to replace her. I think if she came back and play the character of Jean Gray it would have made the film a lot better and more watchable.  The chemistry between her and James McAvoy is not believable. I think the chemistry between   Famke Janssen and Patrick Stewart is a lot more believable.

Tye Sharon is really boring as the character of Cyclops though not bad. But he doesn't hold a candle to James Marsden´s performance as cyclops.

I already said it in my X-Men First Class Review. I'll say it again Jennifer Lawrence is still awful as Mystique she is foaming it in. I just like the original Mystique played by Rebecca Romijn because that one was more threatening and accurate to the comics.

Now well I do say that the acting is bad. That is nothing to the absolute worst performance in the entire X-Men movie franchise and that performance is Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse. This has got to be one of the worst X-Men movie villains I have ever seen. Yes I said it I hate this more than the mute Deadpool in X-Men Origins Wolverine. At least that one they fixed in Deadpool. Now is he the worst villain of 2016? No, that honor goes to Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther in Batman versus Superman Dawn of Justice. But the performance is really bad because  Oscar Isaac goes way too over the top and is just really cringe worthy. But I would say this as much as I hate this performance. It is a masterpiece compared to Jesse Eisenberg's performance as Lex Luther in Batman versus Superman: Dawn Justice. Probably the dumbest scene is where Apocalypse is making a speech and he's screaming a lot. It is probably the most unintentionally funniest scene in this entire movie. I felt like they wanted to cast Nicolas Cage as Apocalypse. At least with that it'll be more entertaining to watch because It would be so bad that It is actually fun to laugh at how bad the film is. not even the makeup and the prosthesis look good because it looks like something out of Batman and Robin that's how bad the makeup and prosthesis are for Apocalypse . Also I think casting Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse is really offensive because in the comics Apocalypse is Egyptian and Oscar Isaac is American. I think it would have been better if they got someone like Idris Elba to play Apocalypse because he is actually African American and it would make more logical sense If he was in the movie as Apocalypse. Also in this movie for some weird reason Apocalypse doesn't really have four horsemen like he does in the comics because in this movie they decide to make Storm and Magneto his horsemen. I'm going to say that this is without a doubt Oscar Isaac's worst performance he has ever done. and really disappoint because Oscar Isaac is a really great actor. But luckily he redeemed himself by playing Moon-Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fun fact actors like Tom Hardy and Idris Elba were both considered to play Apocalypse.

Now you think that since the film is directed by Brian Singer you think I like this movie.  Well I'm sorry to  say this is probably his worst directed X-Men movie he has ever directed because it feels like he doesn't know what the X-Men are anymore because at least in the first two X-Men movies were released back in the 2000s the stuff he put in the film were all accurate to the comics. But in this one he barely made anything accurate to the comics and everything a mess because he thinks Apocalypse sounding like Nicolas Cage is entertaining but it's really not. What's really strange is that this is the same guy who directed X-Men and X2 X-Men united and those films were way more entertaining than this waste of entertainment.

The special effects in this movie are the worst special effects I have ever seen in an X-Men movie. Yes I said I think the effects in this movie are worse than X-Men Origins Wolverine because they live with that movie the special effects were bad but you could tell the filmmakers were actually trying to make a decent  X-Men. The budget of this movie is 178 million dollars. But the budget feels like $9.00.

So in conclusion I think this is the worst X-Men movie ever made. Yes I said I hate this movie more than X-Men Origins Wolverine because at least with that movie you had Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber were the most entertaining performances in that movie. Now is this the worst superhero movie I ever see in my life? No, that honor still goes to Batman versus Superman Dawn of Justice as the worst superhero movie I ever seen in my life. I give this movie a 1/10.
