Here is My Movie Review of A Quiet Place

So basically what happens and that takes place in this Apocalyptic world where these things called death angels who are these aliens that have super sensitive hearing and you can only whisper because if you Too much noise they'll just instantly kill you and And you have this family who only family left on Earth because everybody has died so you have Evelyn Abbott Who is pregnant with her next child and her husband Lee Abbott Want her to protect their family for them don't get slaughtered by the death angels so it's up to the Abbott Family has to survive the apocalypse. And that is basically what the storyline is for this film. Now the storyline is really interesting because you think a movie surrounding around a family that can't make too much noise in their living in an apocalyptic world where these aliens aka the death angels can kill them if they make too much noise sounds really dumb and really boring but  This storyline is a lot deeper than you realize because if folks is on family and trying to stay together. 

Now the acting in this movie is really incredible because there's not much dialogue in this film because this is mostly a silent horror movie with hints of dialogue and yet all of the actors do a magnificent job as these characters. 

However the absolute big standout of the entire film is John Krasinski who plays Lee Abbott and his performance is tremendous because even though he doesn't say much dialogue in this film Krasinski still gives a lot of emotion for this character. Now the character of Lee Abbott Is tremendous because he wants to protect his family from the death angels and he wants to protect his pregnant wife Evelyn Abbott as well as the rest of his family because he doesn't want them to be brutally killed by the death angels because one of them killed his 4-year-old son when he turned on the helicopter toy by playing the battery in side of it Which caused it to make noise  and the death angel killed his son. The scenes with Lee Abbott are magnificent Whether it's  him taking care of his wife Evelyn Abbott  Who is about to have a baby or him sacrificing his own life to protect his family  and let the death angel kill him. Which leads to some of the most horrifying in one of the most nail by name moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe is terrific. 

Emily Blunt plays Lee Abbott´s Wife Evelyn Abbott In the film and her performance is actually incredible because the most interesting thing about it in that this is John Krasinski´s real life wife because they are married in real life though having her play Lee's wife in the film makes a lot more sense because they're essentially playing a married couple in this film. Now even though she doesn't have much dialogue  Emily Blunt still gives the beautiful and really captivating performance as the character. Now the character of Evelyn Abbott Is exhilarating because you can tell that  Evelyn Abbott  Is going through a lot of stress you know she is pregnant with a new baby on the way she has to protect her family from being killed by  the death angels because if they make any noises she will live with her family and she had been in the apocalypse since days 472-474 of the world went crazy because of the death angels. The scenes with Evelyn Abbott are really tremendous whether Evelyn Abbott giving birth to her newborn baby in the bathtub all by herself or her out running the death angels does lead to some really scary and some really incredible and chilling moments throughout the film. 

Millicent Simmonds plays Lee and Evelyn's daughter Regan Abboot In the film and her performance is really remarkable because she is actually deaf in real life and i think it was an Incredible Idea because casting a deaf actress to play one of the characters in this film and even though she doesn't talk at all in this film she is still gives a really captivating and fun performance in the film. Now the character of Regan Abboot is tremendous because she really wants to survive the Apocalypse with her family so the death angels don't kill her in the rest of her family and you can tell that she really cares about her family. The scenes with Regan Abboot are really terrific whether it is the scene of Regan Abboot trying to avoid being killed by the death angels or it's her bonding with her family when they play a game of Monopoly together in their house it does lead to some really powerful and really captivating moments in the film. The chemistry between her and John Krasinski is perfect because they probably have the strongest chemistry throughout the entire film. 

Noah Jupe plays Lee and Evelyn's son Marcus Abboot In the film and his performance is fantastic because even though much like the rest of the the actors doesn't have much dialogue he still gives a really spectacular and emotional and remarkable performance as the character. Now the character of Marcus Abboot is incredible because he wants to protect his family. He has been dealing with the apocalypse from day 472 to day 474 and he has to survive with his family to avoid being killed by the death angels. The scenes with Marcus Abbott are really interesting and really suspenseful whether it is Marcus Aboott trying to escape the death angels or it's him watching his father die did lead to some really suspenseful and heart pounding moments in the film. The chemistry between him and John Krasinski is brilliant. 

Now I talk about the Death Angels because these things or probably one most disturbing villains in a horror movie because unlike the Predators in The Predator movies are disturbing but the difference is that you can talk while you're going up against them but with these death angels they will  pick you off in a millisecond if you start talking or screaming You are going to be the next victim because they have super sensitive hearing they can hear from really far away and then the next thing you know your automatically dead. Also the CGI for the death angels look really  really scary because of how amazing the CGI is to bring them to life. Death angels are actually played by John Krasinski and he does a glorious job with the motion capture for these monsters. The scenes of the Death Angel stalking and trying to kill Lee and his family lead to some really dark and haughty moments throughout the entire film and all the moments with these monsters are really fun and really entertaining to watch. 

However the best thing about this film is the directing by John Krasinski because what I love about his directly that he takes this story about the family and trying to survive in the apocalypse trying to Avoid being killed by the death angels and you may think it's really boring and Not that interesting but   John Krasinski menace to make make it but scary and really emotional because he makes you really feel and sympathize with this family because the Abbott Have been stuck in the Apocalypse for a very long time and he did a Glorious job  of making you feeling really bad for every single character especially Lee and everyone because they have gone through a lot because they have raised a family and they were about to have their  next child. I also like how he does not make the film A generic horror film because the movie The Bye Bye Man from 2017 which was a really horrible and really dumb movie that nobody really cared about had really bad scares and the characters weren't memorable at all. But in this film the scared are actually really scary because they build up the death angels and when you do see them they are really scary and really terrifying to look at because you did not want to be in their presence. I think it is really terrific of how he directed this film. 

So in conclusion I still really like this film because of the storyline revolving around this family trying to survive the apocalypse and tried to survive against the death angels is they really terrific concept and the film executes that really well because again you think a movie about this Family that's not allowed to make me noises and trying to survive against the Apocalypse might sound really dumb but somehow John  Krasinski  make that really scary but really tragic at the same time because you really feel bad for all these characters. The performances are really amazing. The two stand out performances in this film are from John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. Those two were really fun and entertaining to watch as Lee and Evelyn. Also the cinematography is terrific because it reminds me of 1922 with Thomas Jane because that film had really awesome and beautiful cinematography to look at. This is easily in my top five best films of 2018. This film is also up there with Ant-Man and The Wasp with Paul Rudd as one of my favorite films of 2018. I highly recommend you watch the film especially if you enjoy Powerful and emotional drama films like first reformed with Ethan Hawke. Then I'm sure you're going to like this film as well. I give this movie a 10/10.
