Here is My Movie Review of Furious A Mad Max Saga

So basically what happens that it takes place before Mad Max Fury Road and essentially tells the origin story of Furiosa of how she lost her mother because of Warlord Dementus and she has to do everything in power to survive in the Apocalyptic wasteland and then she meets this guy named Praetorian Jack Who tell her that she has to learn how to survive so he does everything is power to Protector teaches her the ways of how to be a survivor of the apocalypse. Then you have Warlord Dementus who wants to rule the Citadel in the wasteland By killing Immorton Joe in order to accomplish his mission. So it's up to Furious to take down Warlord Dementus To avenge her mother's death and to become a Survivor in the apocalypse of the wasteland. That is basically what the story is for this film. I have to say out of the Mad Max Movies. This one probably has my favorite storyline in the entire series because it shows  Furious’s backstory and how she became a survivor of the apocalypse and the wasteland. 

The acting in this movie is so tremendous because everybody give really powerful and nail biting performances. I think out of all the Mad Max movies this one probably has the best acting out of all of them. I think this film is up there with Deadpool and Wolverine as one of the best acted films of 2024. 

Now let's talk about Anay Taylor Joy. She Is a terrific actress. She has given so many awesome performances as Magik in The New Mutants. Or her performance as Margaret in The Menu. But I have to say this is probably her best performance as Furiosa because she doesn't really talk a whole lot because she mostly uses her eyes as the character and she does such a terrific job of doing that. Now the character of Furiosa is incredible because you really feel bad for her because this is a character that's been through a lot of bad luck she had to watch her mother be killed by Warlord Dementus and she wants to get revenge on him and kill him but also learn how to survive through the Apocalyptic wasteland. The scene where Furiosa confronts Warlord Dementus and points a gun at him is not only a really tremendous scene but it makes sense because Furious wanted to seek revenge on him for killing her mother. It is probably one of the most nail biting moments of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Lachy Hulme  Is terrific. 

However the actor that steals the entire film is Chris Hemsworth as Warlord Dementus  Because this is a really different performance from Chris Hemsworth where we  are so used to him playing the good guy like Thor in the MCU. But in this movie  he is playing a villain And you can tell that Chris Hemsworth is having a lot of fun playing this very power hungry and intense villain. In fact this is probably the darkest Chris Hemsworth  performance I have ever seen. Now the character of  Warlord Dementus  Is really scary but very incredible at the same time because this is a character that has survived through the Apocalyptic wasteland and he wants everything to go the way He also enjoys killing people and his  Motivation super dark because he want to roll the wasteland by taking over the Citadel. The scene where Warlord Dementus  Forces Furious to watch her mother be brutally killed by his crew is probably the most disturbing scene of the entire film because it sets up the rivalry really well because he is the one that is responsible for her mother's death. It is probably the most showing sequence of the entire film and it just shows how evil and determined  Warlord Dementus is to break Furiosa as much as possible.  Not to mention Warlord Dementus is a villain you just really love to hate. You just want this cruel evil psychopathic piece of shit to have something bad happen to him  and luckily something does happen to him gets shot and point blank in the head and kills him. I think Warlord Dementus  Is up there with Cassandra Nova from Deadpool and Wolverine and one of the best villains of 2024. The Rivalry between him and Furiosa is tremendous because he really hates her and just wants to kill her so he can rule the Citadel and conquer the Wasteland. The chemistry between him and Anya Taylor Joy is perfect. 

Tom Burke plays Praetorian Jack In the film. He gives a really powerful and terrific performance as this character because  He brings a lot of emotion to the film but a lot of really powerful and badass moments in the film as well. Now the character of Praetorian Jack Is astonishing because he's sort of is a mentor to Furiasa teaching her how to survive in the Wasteland but he also acts sort of a father figure to her because her family is dead and she is all alone I need somebody to comfort her and care for her and he does exactly that he cares for fear of the but also teaches her the ways of survival and wants to help her take down Warlord Dementus so she can get her revenge on him for killing her mother. The scene where Praetorian Jack were he  first means Furious Is a really powerful and incredible theme because it sets up Praetorian Jack’s relationship with her as a mentor and father figure because it shows that he really cares for her and wants to teach her how to survive through the wasteland. It is probably the most important moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Anya Taylor Joy Is fantastic. 

Now let's talk about Immortan Joe  because he is the main villain in Mad Max Fury Road and he was played by Hugh Keays-Byrne In that film. But since he died they had to find a new actor so they decided to go with Lachy Hulme To play Immortan Joe In this film. I have to say he still does a tremendous job as the character. In fact there are points where he sounds exactly like the original actor in Mad Max Fury Road. Now the character of Immortan Joe as a character is exactly the same as he is in Mad Max Fury Road. He wants to rule the wasteland and roll over his citadel and kill anyone who gets in his way and he wants to kill Furious and Praetorian Jack. The scene where Immortan Joe  tells Warlord Dementus  That Furious that is not his daughter and not only were they really Intense moments but it makes sense because he knew that her and Warlord Dementus are not related. It is probably the most showing moment of the entire film. The chemistry between him and Anya Taylor Joy is magnificent.

However the best thing about this entire film is the directing George Miller Is perfect because he has directed every single Mad Max film and  this is probably his best one because he really flushed out all the characters especially Furiosa by giving her the very tragic backstory between her and  Warlord Dementus because he was the one responsible for Furious  mother’s death. I also like how he developed the character of Warlord Dementus by giving him a really powerful and dark villain motivation. That actually makes sense because he wanted to rule the Citadel and the Wasteland. I think it is really terrific of how he did that. 

The action sequences are tremendous every single one of them because they all managed to be entertaining but they also find ways to develop the characters Especially the chase scene between Furiosa and Praetorian Jack trying to outrun Warlord Dementus. The final battle between Furiosa and warlord Dementus is probably up there with the climax in Deadpool and Wolverine and one of the best final battles of 2024. 

So in conclusion I still really like this film. The storyline it's incredible having Be focused around Furiosa of her wine revenge on Warlord Dementus and trying to survive in the wasteland during the apocalypse. The scene where Furious puts the gun to Warlord Dementus to head and kill him is Probably up there with the final battle in Monkey Man and one of the best final battles of the 2020s. Also Anya Taylor Joy  And Chris Hemsworth play off each other perfectly. They have such wonderful and spectacular chemistry with one another. This movie is definitely in my top five favorite films of 2024. I think Warlord  Dementus is probably up there with Xu Wenwu from Shang Chi As one of the best villains of the 2020s. To be honest I can probably go on all day about why I really enjoy the film but in the end I'll leave you with this best movie of 2024 ever. I highly recommend you watch this film especially if you like the other Mad Max films. I give this movie a 89/10.
