Here is My Movie Review of Penny Dreadful

So basically what happens is that you have this guy named Dennis and His partner Randy who are tasked Kidnap a girl named Penny Dreadful so they can get the money from their boss Hyrum But unfortunately Penny Dreadful Find the gun and pulled the trigger and accidentally kills Dennis’s partner Randy and now he has to get the money on his own with the help of Penny Dreadful.  That is basically what the story is for this movie. 

The acting in this movie is still awesome. I still think everyone does a great job as their characters. 

However the absolute big standout in the entire film is Oona Laurence as Penny Dreadful. What makes Penny Dreadful such an interesting character Is that you feel bad for her because she is being forced to do bad things but at the same time you can understand why because she is doing it for survival. Probably the best moment with Penny Dreadful Is where she is trying to kill Dennis in the car but in reality she was just joking not only was it really funny but it was kind of intense because you think she was going to pull the trigger and kill him but it really she was just messing with him it probably one of the funniest moments in the entire film. The chemistry between her and David H Stevens, Rick Zahn Is still amazing. 

David H Stevens plays Dennis in the film. I have to say he still does a terrific job as the character. What makes Dennis such an incredible character is that only wants to give the money to his boss Hyrum  So he doesn't kill him Probably the best moment with Dennis is when he sees Penny Dreadful Kills his partner Randy is not only was it really funny but it made sense for him to freak out because he had to watch his partner die in front of him. It probably was the funniest moment in the entire film. Also the relationship  between him and Penny Dreadful is still amazing. The chemistry between him and Oona Laurence is still outstanding. 

Rick Zahn plays Dennis's boss Hyrum. I have to say he Still does a great job as the character. What makes Hyrum Search a dark character is that you would do everything as power to get his money even that means killing his helper Dennis in the process. Probably the Darkest scene with Hyrum Is where Penny Dreadful Kills him by hitting him with a shovel and not only was it really dark but it made sense because he threatened to kill Dennis if he didn't give him the money. It is probably the darkest moment in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Oona Laurence Is still excellent.

The directing by Shane Atkinson is great Because what I like about his directing is that he does an astounding job of making the story simple but really easy to follow. I also like how Develop the relationship between Penny Dreadful and Dennis because at first they don't like each other but toward the end of the movie they start to bond. I think it is really extraordinary how he did that. 

So in conclusion I still really enjoy this film. The storyline was really simple and really engaging throughout the whole movie. Also the worship between Penny Dreadful and Dennis is probably the strongest aspect of the entire film. This is probably the most underrated film of 2013. I still think this is the most underrated movie of the 2010s. I think more people should watch this movie especially if you like short films like Von Doom from 2017. I give this movie a 10/10.
