Here is My Movie Review of Esio Trot

Here is My Movie Review of Esio Trot

So basically what happened and they have this guy Mr. Hoppy  who is feeling lonely and one day he falls in love with this woman named Miss Silver but he is really shy to confess his feelings towards her and he finds out that she likes tortoises. Mrs Silver tells him that her tortoise is not growing so he decides to create this spell But he writes the words in reverse and she uses it to make her tortoise grow but in reality Mr Hobby is actually swapping each tortoise every few days, to make it look like her tortoise is growing. And they have this guy named Mr Pringle who also loves Ms Silver and it becomes a love triangle and it's up to Mr Hoppy to win Miss Silver's love. That is basically what the story is for this movie.

The acting in this movie is still remarkable. I still think everyone does a great job as their characters.

James Corden Narrates the film and he does an amazing job narrating the film.

However the absolute biggest stand out of the entire film is Dustin Hoffman as Mr. Hoppy. What makes Mr Hoppy such an interesting  character is You really feel bad for me because he is all alone With no one to talk to but when he meets Miss silver you can understand why he wants to be with her because he is romantically in love with her.  Probably the best thing with Mr Hoppy is when he first talks to Ms Silver In the elevator and not only is it really really sweet but it makes sense because Mr. Hobby really loves her.  This is probably Dustin Hoffman's most emotional and strongest performance he has done. The chemistry between him and Judy Dench and Richard Cordey is terrific.

Judy Dench Play Ms. Silver in the film. I have to say she still does a fantastic job as the character. What makes Ms Silver such a emotional character that you can see that she really loves Mr. Hoppy and she want to make him happy and spend time with him. Probably the best moment with Ms Silver is where she finds out that Mr Hoppy has been lying to her and not only is it a really strong and emotional scene but it makes sense because she didn't know that She was being tricked and you can see why she is  mad at him when he did that to her because she didn't know what he was doing the whole time because she thought her original tortoise was growing but it really mister hoppy swapped it out for another one. It is probably the most heartbreaking scene in the entire film. The chemistry between Her and Dustin Hoffman is splendid.

Richard Cordey plays Mr. Pringle in the film. I have to say he does a great job as the character. What makes Mr Pringle such an awesome character is that much like Mr Hoppy he is also in love with Ms. Silver and he also wants to spend time with her. Probably the best moment with Mr. Pringle is where he told Mrs Silver what Mr Hoppy has been doing to her the whole time because he tells her that Mr Hoppy was lying to her about the tortoises. Not only was it really emotional. But it made sense because he knew what Mr Hoppy was doing to her the whole time. Is it probably the most shocking scene in the entire film. The chemistry between him and Dustin Hoffman is still excellent.

The directed by Deborah Walch Is really incredible because why I like about her directed that she basically got everything accurate from the book because in the book the exact same thing happened Mr. Hoppy trucks Ms. Silver by making up this fake spell that will make her tortoise grow but in reality he's been buying multiple tortoises to make it look like the original tortoise grew. I think it is really remarkable how she did that.

So in conclusion I still really enjoy this movie because it has a really simple but really entertaining story. I still tink this is probably one of my favorite films of 2015. Is it probably the most underrated film of the 2010s. This is probably my favorite Dustin Hoffman film. I think if you enjoy the film The Catcher Was a Spy with Paul Rudd. Then you will probably like this one. I give this movie a 10/10.
